Still Kajal's character is far likeable that Manisha cutie who only seems to be doing giggling shipping and crying. Kajal underwent a change after Neeraj's incident and stayed pretty much the same after that.

Exactly. She was a friend until her 7th birthday. After that only she began seeing her a honewali mummy. But suddenly they changed the narrative like they were a family of four. Armaan was shown taking care of Maira single handedly with a help or to of Geetanjali here and there in the initial post leap episodes. But now Geetanjali is saying 'Maira ko meine paalaa hain, us par Abhira se zyaada mera haq hain'. A classic case of bad writing I say. Because if writing are underplaying Ab's outbursts and hurts for cushioning Ar, then this narrative of G2 will put Ar in even bad light who conveniently used G2 for taking care of Maira.
