but.. I have doubts on Laksh.. after the truth comes out.. he will turn full circle and start pursuing swara again.. 🤔

@bold above- yes, I'm totally with you on this. We are def going to get an idiots guide to repentance, Lakshya trying to get Swara back, shekhar, AP all in that camp. 🤢 I think they can drag that for weeks with a SwaSan track running at the same time with the whole "who will Swara choose" dilemma but she will fall for Sanskaar by then I think and won't go back to Lakshya.

Sankaar was never extreme even during revenge he saved swara from being killed.

He had a goodness somewhere in his heart which was lost and swara found it again.

Yes, exactly. I didn't watch before but what i've seen shows he was def gray but not fully negative and didn't encroach into a territory you can't return from- like he was never shown as sleazy or cheap.

Really liked your post, Shruti. Yes, agree with you completely that Sanskaar is probably one of the best written, most layered and dare I say realistic character on the show. EVen if he is not "gray" now anymore, he knows exactly how to deal with people who are troubling/ attacking him or the persons he holds dear. Give it back to them right where it hurts!

Given the world we live in, I think this is a very realistic portrayal of a go-getter. I think he and Swara fit very well together, because she with her steady, clear moral compass will make sure he doesn't stray too far into perhaps-questionable choices. And he will ensure she doesn't get trod upon or become too martyr-like.

😊 😊 It was written in the stars (Sorry, couldn't resist that, but I like that phrase, I used it as a title for my first SS) 😊

Thanks Viji! I too think its nice to have a man who will play how its meant to (I know i sound sexist but wimpy men who sit and shed tears are a no no for me). Sanskaar is a go-getter and I love what you said about them balancing each other out! Exactly that, its a perfect trade off and I love how with just one look Swara can stop him (like yesterday when he shouted at Nagini). Ohhh have i not read this SS?! I'll go stalk out the AT links, find, read and comment 😃

Totally agree! I am so impressed with Varun- he is truly talented. And Sanskaar- I can't believe I've turned into such a fan girl but this is the sort of "hero" I love to see
To my mind- there seems little doubt about SwaSan...

.
He portrayed his character in Sarawathichand...Danny...extremely well too...

however, in this serial, he has shown a variety of emotions...I started watching from 17th but went in to check out his portrayal when he was 'acting' mad...Gosh, he is really good. Versatile actor.

Hey! Yes, I tried to watch SC and gave up but always loved Danny. In fact I liked Danny way more than Devdas annoying Saras I think. And yes, i used to only watch Swaragini occasionally before to see VK as the "mad" Sanskaar- he's awesome.

I agree!

I think he's one of the most well written characters I have ever seen on Indian TV.
He's so layered and complex, yet he seems the most relatable and realistic.
I think very few telly actors could've have pulled off Sanskaar as well Varun did. He's seriously doing justice to this perfectly imperfect character.
