Love love love this guy! When he was truly grey- he was really interesting and made you wonder what he would do next and how his role/ character would develop.
Then he turns positive and how! As passionate in his reformation as he was in his anger and mistaken hatred- from his unstinting friendship to Swara to his fast growing feelings of love- he stood true. I loved him when he so openly supported her in front of his family when they acted married. I remember the episodes when he insisted on her "gruha pravesh", her "muh dikhaye", all of that and he never shied of speaking out for her, no matter who challenged him.
His growing care was so cute and his attempts to make her laugh and stay positive too.
Him holding himself back (who can forget the sanskaari Sanskaar's famous- tum mere uppar ho Swara 😆 ) and turning almost hugs into handshakes- clearly attempts to try to keep some distance, however superficial, as he didn't want to take advantage.
His championing of Swara- 👏👏. It isn't right to attack someone but when that someone is an evil witch who has pushed her sister to death and is still hell bent on ruining her life, her being almost strangled when she is spouting yet more malicious rubbish, was a reaction a lot of people wished they could express.
What can I say about taking the step to fill Swara's "maang" and the amazing drunken revelations and stunning confession that followed?! Those scenes were simply epic- if I get side tracked, this post will be overcome! But safe to say- he made most hearts flutter and how many girls thought- "Ohhh I so want a guy like this!"? 😳
Plus, his each and every expression of supreme pride for Swara in the drama of the last few days (the never ending MM Suspense Night 😃). And now today- when you feel sorry for his lost puppy act of the past day being ignored by his clearly mad "was friend now love/ wife"- he goes and does it again!
I am so happy that Sanskaar totally owned his confession- oh no, he went one step further- he masterfully but very sensitively repeated it with a confidence that made my heart melt (yeah yeah me and too many others 😆). There is no hiding behind the being drunk excuse here, there was hurt that his feelings are not reciprocated even though he probably expected that but what won me totally over was the epic unapologetic- "yeh meri zindagi ki sabse atchi feeling hai"!! So there Swara- cards on the table, I will not force you and I get you and accept that you don't want more- so fine- but I love you and I don't regret it one bit! Whoa!!! 👏
Swara is made of sterner stuff than many of us so it will take time but I feel that Sanskaar's reaction was bang on and I am so glad he acknowledged it and didn't back away from it!
Now- bring on the marriage (wish Nagini koh aise ideas har waqt aate- the whole Forum will come to love her!).
Oh and re the kidnap track- we may probably see some more of Mr Grey again, even if this is a muted grey this time due to his recent reformation. I know, I know- i am not saying kidnapping Lux is nice but seriously, this is why I adore this character- he is genuinely able to do what it takes. I remember him saying to Swara about Nagini that you need to keep up the pressure on your enemies and he clearly didn't build up his business in such a short time being constant Mr Nice Guy. I for one, am up for seeing him give genuine "takkar" to Nagini- he never crosses his limits with the sort of crimes Rags accused him of 🤢. The rest- someone needs to up these stakes to win and he isn't scared to get his hands dirty. Hopefully Swara will be with him (hopeful after what she said today)!
I'm sorry- not actually I'm not- for getting carried away. Mr Grey, turned every shade I like is so appealing, I can't be sorry!
