For me, the entire Laksh whipping himself and Swara not caring left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. Like W*F. Against his characterization and putting Swara in a very terrible light.

I may get chappals for this -- but I didn't *mind* Sanskaar reaction. Ragini was in the hospital -- if she died, Laksh would be destroyed and his revenge halfway complete. If she survived, his revenge would still be halfway complete. He doesn't care about Ragini, she's just collateral damage. Although I will say this -- his grey characterization definitely took a bashing. He's veering into villain territory rather than anti-hero. Not a fan of that.

Ishu if you get some time do venture into the sangini DT, mats and i had a convo there about Snackers reaction as well. I think the cvs have definitely been using a clever temporal frame if not anything else. snacker has only known ragini for like 2 days. whereas its been like 3 weeks for us, for them its only been two days so what kind of a bond could we have expected him to develop with ragini or anyone else especially given he's here for revenge. as you said if ragini had died or worse been permanently damaged, laksh would've not only lost swara forever but also have been destroyed.

the whipping was the worst thing I've heard of, not even seen it and i was balking. like why would they make laksh into that? and swara idk but i kind of understand. she was frightened as hell at the idea of laksh dying and you could see the softening in her resolve but then Shomi saw them and her mother's desperate reaction hardened swara again and ragini's accident and her father's coldness just hammered the nail on the coffin. she's been desperate for this family and she knows the more she lets herself acknowledge her care for laksh the more she'll alienate her family. add that to her superhero complex for our resident china doll rags and you've got a box of insecurities that her new family has done nothing to try appease. can you imagine shakers reaction if she ran to save laksh whilst rags is in the hospital? so ya swara is a hypocrite of the highest order for calling laksh selfish.
