Indeed, high school / teenage wala romance is something we witness everyday on television. Even the most ridiculous love tracks at times
This story would be a welcome change from the usual ones

We know by now that Meghna doesn't give 2 hoots abt society and their thoughts and for her only her mom and Chikhu matter. As long as they are happy, she is happy

About karan s truth the only person karan owes an explanation for not informing about the matter beforehand is naina because she is his wife

Plus naina would have told meghna someday its just that she didn't find the right time

Honestly Sharda's need to get Meghna married was really silly and went against the point of the show. Just because Sharda got taunts that it would be hard to get her girls married within the same caste because they were so educated she was desperate to get Meghna married.

Meghna agreeing to marriage I can understand because Sharda was making this an issue about her self respect. She tried to make her mother understand in the first episode. But both mami's were taunting Sharda etc. Meghna would always want Sharda's head to be held up high even if that means she has to get married for it. She never dated Kunal in college because she didn't want do anything that her mother wouldn't approve of. But after realizing her own love for Kunal and the fact that her mother brought Kunal's rishta there was no reason for her to say no.

I disagree that Karan didn't have to tell anyone but Naina. That would be true if this was a love marriage. But this was an arranged marriage. Its a marriage of two families as much as of two people. He didn't need to tell Meghna but he should've told Sharda.

Sharda should have let meghna work and in that time she could have found a nice match for her both her daughter has a lot of potential but after marriage neither of them have been able to utilise it fully meghna and naina are alwaya stuck in family problems

I get the focus on family issues because that gets a lot of Trps. Plus the Karan issue had to come out at some point. It was always going to be necessary to move the Nairan track forward. But honestly I want to see Naina studying too.

I didn't mind badi mami at first-- she felt justified in a lot of ways. But now they are both annoying.

Yeah both girls are highly educated, but they are both more stuck into unnecessary family drama rather than doing something useful with their studies. Meghna always wanted to do a job, but instead of being in office, she's stuck in Chauhaan house either plotting against NK, or getting her husband out of jail or solving Karans issue or Nirmala's problems..its been ages since we've seen her in office
The same goes for Naina also...both have become full time housewives then what was the need for Sharda to get them married in Chauhaan family instead of somewhere else ??

You are right. Veer would be a good grounding force for Meghna and she would be worry less abt Sharda with Veer around.
But I feel that Meghna is the way she is becoz she's the eldest, with no dad in the house who could take care of her mom and them, so she became like the protective one for her mom and sister against the world. This is why Meghna is so aggressive, whereas Naina has always been shielded from problems
