Hello lovely people!! We have been getting good stuff but I haven't been able to make posts but aaj toh I couldn't let it go. WHAT AWESOMENESS WAS TODAY!! So pristine, so peaceful, so blessed and so divine. NaiRan just make me speechless. (And then I proceed to write paragraphs so I don't know if that holds.😆) So lets get started.
Right from the beginning, we have seen that Naina has been taking efforts in the relationship. She used to have expectations before she found out about Karan's disease, remember those wistful looks she used to give Karan after she saw MeghNal? But after she found out, she didn't care about anything else but getting Karan out of his shell. They say love begets love. I think it's a similar case with concern and care. Because what we have been shown in the past few days is how much Karan has come to care for Naina.
What is the standard dialogue that Karan has these days? "Tum chahti ho, Naina?" THIS. All his thoughts, all his feelings are about making her happy. If she wants to go to the Dargah, they will go. If she wants to stay for the roshini dua, they will. She matters to him. Her happiness matters to him. He will cheer her up when she is feeling sad, he will take her to a dargah and sit there for her. This development in his feelings has been so beautifully shown.❤️
The entire Dargah sequence in the beginning was so peaceful and ethereal. They go, they pray, they tie the mannat ka dhaga. They both look at each other praying. Her dupatta gets stuck and he takes it out for her. And the symbolism. He is holding her dupatta such that her aanchal is phaila hua. Baba says that everyone's jholi gets filled here. And flowers fall in her aanchal. This was so so beautiful!! Kudos to the camera vale bhaiya. Great work! The baba asks them to stay for the roshini dua and tells them to sit exactly the same way for the entire thing in the way they initially sit for it.
Then comes THE scene. They sit down and Naina asks him what he wished for. Karan's thoughts to himself, his monologue was so amazing! He thinks that people ask for light and happiness and that he already has this light in his life. "Bas main ye chahta hoon ki ye roshini, Naina, meri zindagi se kabhi na jaaye". THIS. THIS. How far has Karan come? Whatever happened to temporary rishta, tumhe jaana hoga, humara koi future nahi hai etc etc? They say that you can't really lie when you pray and that your deepest desires are actually what you wish for. This is what happened with Karan. The atmosphere, the surroundings, all affected him such that he clearly wished for what he wanted. ❤️
Naina is insistent that he tell her and he says that people either ask for something or ask protection for something they already have. She says he didn't really tell her anything and he says "Shayad tumne sahi sawaal nahi pucha." Foreshadowing? Maybe. She asks if he asked for something or asked for protection. He says that he had locked himself into his room and was sure he was not going to come out. But then he heard a sound. It wasn't sangeet, it was a shor,😆 but it still got him out. He says that he has always stayed in the dark, hasn't had friends and all his ties are based on helplessness, pity and sympathy. But she came into his life and gave him haunsle ki roshini. And that he wished that this roshini never goes from his life. "Kaash, ye roshini mujhe pehle meri zindagi mein hoti Naina, toh shayad Karan hona paap nahi hota."💔
Naina disagrees and says that being Karan is all about having the strength to get up even after being pulled down multiple times. He asks her what she wished for. She says that he has so much light in his life, the light of strength, of his talent that she wishes that the light of his success shines so bright so that "voh ek roshini jo kabhi kabhi tumhari zindagi main andhera kar deti hai, tumhe kabhi na chu paaye." Karan is awed and thinks that the only thing she asked for was for him. He thinks "Naina tum itni..." And he doesn't even complete it. Because truthfully, what can he say? Nice is too small a word for what Naina is. She is so much more. And so much more to him.
Then the roshini dua. They are sitting, a child comes and dashes against Karan and Karan accidently keeps his hand on Naina's hand. And that is exactly the moment all the lights come on and the dua starts. And that is also exactly when the Maula Maula song starts in the background. You just have to see this. It was so aesthetically shot and the entire thing was divine! Karan wants to remove his hand but Naina says that the dua has started and they have to remain this way. Nothing wrong will happen here. "Tumhe meri kasam hai Karan, apna haath mat hatao." And then obviously Karan cannot do anything. They stare at each other, with the maula song in the background. This was so so beautiful. The dua stops and he removes his hand. He is very worried but she shows him that nothing happened. He is still very worried though.
The entire dargah sequence is sheer bliss. You just have to see it. It seriously warms your heart to see this beautiful couple take little steps forward in their relationship. And each step is so meaningful and beautiful to watch. I love the journey they are on.❤️
Elsewhere, I love the sisters together, as always. They way they disagreed, were upset and then made up was adorable. Kunal has also started to stand up for Karan. Yay Bromance! Also, VeerDa is happening! I'm shipping it.
