Yes...there was a show on Draupadi named 'Draupadi' on Doordarshan. Draupadi was played by Mrunal Kulkarni...I have seen only three episodes of that serial on Youtube, and it is based on Pratibha Ray's 'Yajnaseni'.

Some say, that it was the BEST portrayal of Draupadi ever made on Indian television.
I too felt the same after watching three episodes...

The show starts with a sword fighting scene between Draupadi and Dhristyadyumna, which is ofcourse factually incorrect and glorification...but the portrayal was amazing.
She is graceful, yet strong-headed with a mind of her own...and yet not arrogant and bitchy.
Just the way, I see her.

Unfortunately that show ended early...I wish all the episodes were available...😭

@Amrita - 😲 Calm down.😆 We know very well why are you happy. I too am, for same reason. Hope SidT maintains same standard ahead. Still, I did not like the bit when Karna n the verge of a sob told Draupadi would suffer sometime for this. But chalo, we can forguve SidT for that. This Karna is a cry baby. Looks like mommy did not give him horlicks. He is not taller, stronger and sharper.

@jamy yup kashmira did an outstanding job in manmarziya.. Loved her there. Her voice have a spl factor..

But whatever the case i dont find krishna's dialogue delivery flowy and sweet n effortless as SRJ's. SRJ's lines were wwaahhh.. It was effortless.. Madhurvani as tht of real Govind. This guy is putting in a lot of effort. I find he is working too hard. He need to loosen up a lil bit. Take a break and see through things!!

@Anu- Ok dear. Yup, it is a bit too much. 😡 I thought he was a good actor because he won best actor before.
But as always, i like arjuna's character and Navi is doing a great job. Ok, bye for now. 😊
