Its crazy, the reason Karna was so loyal to his foster family and Duryodhan is that they loved him unconditionally.
Making Pandu and Kunti love him more than Radha is stupid and taking away essence of the character of Karna.
why would Karna fight the war or would be against Pandavas if Kunti and Pandu would love and teach him.
This makes Karna ungrateful and real stupid, There's a difference between making him a tragic character and making him look like a fool and a cry baby.
Karna was many things but not a sob hero and a cry baby.
Also, it's a tad unfair on Kunti as well. In the original, Kunti
did recognize Karna at the tournament, but felt helpless to confess his real identity. By the time the day was over, Bhima had already insulted him and Karna ended up as Dury's pal.
But in a private moment like this, Kunti could easily have told Pandu the whole real story, and Pandu could have discussed it w/ Adiratha and repossessed Karna. Radha too would have been happy - at least the one depicted here. Also, since Radha did have babies of her own after Karna's birth, she may not have been as grieved.
