I'm sorry guys, I really didn't have much time to write this chapter. So I've compensated you guys with a reallyyy long chapter. I hope you like it! If its boring, I apologise in advance 😛

I had to switch over to English dialogues in this chapter since it was getting difficult to express some flashback scenes..😆

I seem to be jumping in between scenes. I hope it still made sense 😕 I added KriYam's POV in between dialogues so hopefully it's not too bad..

Please tell me if you want me to add something different! (other than romance.. lol! I'll definitely add that in the next chapter. It will be blush-worthy☺️)

It took 3 chapters to explain Krishna's FIRST DAY at her new job 😆

CHAPTER 3 - Unfinished story.

Krishna could hardly believe what he just said. She turned around surprised and walked over to him in excitement. Kya?! Tumhe mere designs pasand aaye? He just stood there struggling to take his eyes off her. She was so innocent, she got excited about every little thing just like a child. He realized how close she was standing, he stepped back and said - ya..matlab..it's ok-ok, itni bhi achhi nahi hai par ek baar try karte hai. Saiyyam said without looking in to her eyes.

Huh! Jhoot bolna buri baat hai Saiyyam! She said while frowning. She snatched the presentation file off his hand and waved it in the air. Kya mazaak hai yeh, Krishna! Give it back! He leaned forward to grab her hand but she was determined not to give in so easily.

Nahi, nahi.. tumhe kya zaroorat hai isski, tumhne toh nahi pasand na, so ab jao. Iss k bina hi presentation dena! She said while sticking her tongue out. His eyes widened in shock.

Achha, toh tum nahi manogi?! He looked at her playfully. Let me remind you that you always loose when you challenge me. He smirked at her.

He walked over to the couch that she was sitting on, her expressions changed from a smile to a worry, her heart raced and her breaths became heavier. She tried to get up but he bent down lowering his face to level hers and put his hands on either side of the couch, trapping her in the middle. He came insanely close to her face, gently rubbing his cheeks against hers. She felt Goosebumps all over her body, unable to speak or move. Why I can't control my feelings for him. I should stop him before we end up regretting again. But I don't want to stop him. He could smell her sweet rose scented perfume, it was distracting him. Saiiyaam, please jaane do. She said softly. Meine kaha tha na ki tumhe mujhe koi nahi bacha sakta. He smirked, breaking apart a few inches to look into her beautiful brown eyes. Krishna was biting her lower lips which was driving him crazy. His gently placed his hands on the sides of her cheeks and she shut her eyes shamelessly waiting for him to kiss her. Why do I want him to kiss me, why I do want him so much when I know he doesn't even love me. Am I being selfish. Krishna didn't want to open her eyes. He looked at her with sadness, What a crazy girl, How can she still want me? I've done her wrong time and time again. I keep giving her false hopes, I want to stop but I can't.

She opened her eyes and pushed him off. Haan, tumne theek kaha tha, I always loose, how can I forget the last one that easily. But yeh meri zindagi hai, tumhari koi video game nahi.

He was hurt by her harsh words but he knew she was right. What was I expecting anyway. I left her because I said that she deserved better and now I'm the one that doesn't want her to move on. What is wrong with me!?

Kaira walked in just in time to break the awkward silence between them. Krishna, what you doing here? And Saiyyam Our clients are here. Lets go! Krishna couldn't look at Saiyyam and she didn't think it was important to answer Kaira. Who is she anyway. Krishna glared at her, somewhat annoyed but not knowing why. Kaira seems like a nice girl but everytime she spoke to Saiyyam makes me uncomfortable. Saiyyam, are you ok? Kaira asked. Saiyyam Sir. Krishna said with a stern voice. Kaira gave her a confused look. Krishna continued, He is your boss, shouldn't you call him Saiyyam Sir? Kaira found it strange and busted out laughing. What? C'mon Krishna, that's so old fashioned. Krishna couldn't understand why it was funny. Saiyyam is so..special to me. And anyway who are you to tell me? Saiyyam stood there watching Krishna's reactions, he was somewhat amused at her. She was too cute. He was trying to figure out what she might say next. Special? What does that mean? Is she the reason why he chose to stay away from me? I still don't understand his reasons, he said he wanted to give our relationship some space, and that he could never give me what I want? That seems like an excuse now, he wanted to leave because he rather be with someone like her. Saiyyam interrupted her thoughts, cut this bullsh*t. Lets go and win this contract. Saiyyam walked out with hands in his pocket.

-In conference room-

Saiyyam entered room followed by Kaira and Krishna couldn't catch up, they walk so fast. Why are we using this conference room? He asked Kaira. Actually, the other rooms are already booked and I've set up the projector in here, its all good. Trust me. But the door lock is annoying, saiyyam said. It's fine, you're overthinking. Yuvaan entered with 3 clients. Saiyyam greeted the clients and Yuvaan started the presentation. Kaira sat on one side or Saiyyam and Krishna sat on the other side. Krishna was a little nervous and started fidgeting with her kruti scarf. This didn't go unnoticed by Saiyyam. He placed his hand on hers under the table, she almost jumped out of her chair. That kind of affection was not needed. She thought, But it made her calm down. Stop it - it's ok. That's all the encouragement he could give. It still made her feel better. The clients were waiting for Krishna, Kaira looked at her impatiently. She was going to take over but Krishna cut her off.

Krishna's voice was shaking a little but she took a deep breath and remembered what Suhani aunty had always said to her. Do your best and leave the rest on God. She began by saying in what she believed was the most important factor. It's not about the size of the house, but it's about the people that live in it. She continued to describe a medium sized villa situated in open area near the sea shore. The client was interested in collection of villas in Goa, so it made sense to have it in the heart of Goa near the beach as well as close to the city. It would be two stories high, made of natural stones with an open balcony so enough light and warmth can enter. Saiyyam could imagine the villa Krishna was describing, he would be there living with her, away from the crowd in a peaceful place. She would read her romantic novels out in the balcony while he would watch her all day long from the beach. Saiyyam snapped out into reality when the clients praised Krishna for her design and that they were really impressed with her passion and confidence that she is showing towards this project. They accepted this proposal.

Yuvaan got up from his seat and congratulated her, he put his arm around her and pinched her nose. You go Krish! He said excitedly. She moved away and her eyes searched through the room to look at Saiyyam. Kaira was hugging him, and she caught him giving her a lopsided smile, nodding in agreement. Well that's just rude. He didn't even say congratulations to me. And forget that, I didn't even know he could actually smile?! Where did that smile come from? It's been a while, I don't remember how good it felt to see him smile.

The clients weren't done talking yet. Mr Sharma announced that Saiyyam would get this contract but he has a condition. Everyone stared at him in confusion. Please, tell us. I'm sure we can do our best. Saiyyam told them. Yes, I don't doubt that, having someone like Krishna on your team will definitely be an advantage. Saiyyam looked over at Krishna and they had an eyelock. This is the confidence I was searching in you Krishna. I'm glad at least one good thing has happened by distancing ourselves from eachother. He didn't let his mind wonder any longer, he asked Mr Sharma what the condition is. Mr Sharma continued, So the condition is I would like Krishna to handle on site construction and would love to have all four of you to come stay in Goa for a week for the opening of this project. They all agreed but Kaira and Yuvaan seemed the most excited. Saiyyam and Krishna just glanced at eachother wondering no matter how much they try, something always brings them closer.

Kaira walked out the room with the clients, and Yuvaan followed banging the door close behind him. Krishna was picking up all the papers and clearing out the room while Saiyyam attended the call from Yuvaani. Krishna looked at him signalling him to give her the phone too, she wants to speak. Saiyyam rolled his eyes, it's on low battery and you girls will talk forever. Krishna looked annoyed. Ok first, take all of this out and then I'll give you the phone. He said teasingly. She tried to open the door but it wouldn't open. Saiyyam - its not opening! I'll call you back in a bit Yuvaani.

Shut up Krishna, why are you shouting like that. You're just weak! Move. He pushed her over and tried to open it.

He pulled the handle few times each with increasing force. Krishna couldn't help but laugh.

Haww, Kya huwa? Looks like you're not too strong either. She said sarcastically crossing her hands. She observed his fine muscles and leaned against the door dreamily watching his face expressions.

If you stand like that, How am I supposed to open it? He tapped her head lightly. One of your screws in the head is loose, get it fixed. He said teasing her.

You can't open it anyway. Why are you blaming me?

Yeah, but I'm trying.

Then try harder. Because I don't want to be stranded here with you for too long.

What? What's this sudden aggressive attitude coming from? He thought.

Oh yea, you think I want to be here? Mujhe v koi shokh nahi hai

Lair. You just need a chance to stay with me. Why don't you accept your true feelings. Whatever you do, I will still be here in your life. She realised what she just said.

He turned his back to her and remembered that day -

-Flashback-

Give yourself a chance. If I'm ready to accept this relationship then why don't you also move on from your guilt.? Krishna pleaded him one last time, tears were flowing from her eyes.

Krishna, I already told you, I may never be able to love you the way you want me to. I've already told you my decision and it's not going to change. He couldn't look into her eyes. She kneeled down on the grass, the tears blurred her vision of the flowers around her.

He bent down to make her stand up. I'm sorry. Let's go home.

Krishna wiped her tears, Saiyyam, maybe you'll never realise. You see those majestic creatures that are floating through all these flowers, like a colourful snowflake, they are butterflies. They don't know the colour of their wings, but human eyes know how beautiful it is. Likewise, you don't know how good you are, but others can see that you are special..

How can she take this in such a positive way. How can she overlook my flaws? he was really confused, he needed time to understand his own emotions. He wasn't listening to her anymore. If he stayed there any longer, he would start doubting his own decision. He left her standing alone in the middle of the garden. She didn't stop him either. She could not make sense of the things that were meant for her, but she was still drawn to him..

She stood there waiting for him to respond. I'm so silly, why do I keep pushing his feelings! He said he wasn't ready then why do I see something else in his eyes. She stared at him awkwardly. He had closed his eyes. Kuch yaad kar rahe ho Saiyyam? She asked wanting to find out what he was thinking. He grabbed her hand and pushed her on the chair. Just shut up. He put his index finger on her lips.

What else is there to say Saiyyam? I've said it all but you didn't listen.

He looked even more frustrated. He just needed to get out of the room.

I will win the challenge this time. You know it, Saiyyam. Krishna smiled.

He remembered how they ended up in this mess, it was all his fault, but he felt it was right at the time, and its been a month since -

-Flashback-

Saiyyam looked at her admiring the flower bouquet. She was so beautiful, her eyes were full of happiness. I didn't want to break her dreams but if I don't tell her now, I will never be able to tell her.

Krishna..

Haan Saiyyam, kuch kehna hai? She looked hopeful.

Tumhe pata hai mein tumhe yahan kyun laaya hoon?

Of course, it's a date! She said cheerfully.

Nahii..

Kya nahi? Yeh decorations, flower garden, and just you and me here. So what else is this? She giggled.

You know, We spend our lives looking for reasons why to stay but sometimes leaving is the only thing we are meant to share..

Matlab? Now she was really confused.

Why try to be anything more than we are meant to become..

Saiyyam stop confusing me. We are not trying to become anything, all I know Is that we are married. Her voice was shaking now, she didn't want to hear anything more.

It started raining and they just stood there looking at eachother. He pulled her under the shelter.

It always rains the hardest on people that deserve the sun. He continued

Yes, but as long as I have you, I don't need to worry about it raining. I like the rain.. she replied.

You shouldn't because you deserve the sun..

In that case, you are my sunshine. Sbe smiled

He was surprised by her replies. He thought he was making it clear that he wants to end this forceful relationship but she was taking this the complete opposite. He sighed and held her hand.

Krishna, I want you to know that I want you to be free..like these flowers. They don't compete with eachother, they just bloom. You are trapped with me in the darkness when you should see the light outside..I can't treat you like this everyday. I want it to stop. Please. His looked down and closed his eyes.

She didn't know what was going on. Are you telling me that you want to divorce me?

Yes. You should move on and leave me alone..

She freed her hand from his. How can you say such a thing! I thought we were becoming good friends atleast? A tear escaped her eyes. You did all of this to tell me that you don't want to be with me.. are you kidding me?!

I did this because I don't want to end this on a bad note.. I want us to happily move on and find something better. She ran out of the garden without looking back at him. It was pouring and she felt like crying and wash away the pain.

She reached home and ran straight into her room. She cried looking at herself in the mirror, she sat there keeling down, it was like the first day of her marriage. She felt it the pain repeated itself.

Suhani was waiting for Saiyyam to arrive. She hugged Krishna and told her it was all going to be ok.

Saiyyam! What is going on between you and Krishna? You wanted to marry her!

I didn't.. You know the reason very well. I can't put up with the fake act all the time..I don't want her to build any hopes or dreams because I can't promise her anything. Isn't it better to just break free?

No. Every relationship takes time to build. I know you care for Krishna, beta please give it a chance. If you don't want to stay in the same house, fine, you can live in the outhouse. But please, think about it before signing the divorce papers. Suhani said desperately, defending Krishna.

Krishna walked towards Saiyyam, he lowered his eyes. She shook him putting both her hands on his shoulders. So my opinion doesn't matter at all, you told me to get married so I did, now you tell me to leave you.. She wiped her tears, I can make decision myself.

Yes, that's why I want you to take the decision and give me some space to be myself, let me find myself before I can start a relationship with you..all these emotions are new to me. He explained himself, trying not to be sound so selfish or harsh. He knew he has already hurt her and it was too late to apologize.

Fine, I challenge you that you will regret this decision. I will prove you that there are hundreds of reasons to stay. But for now, get out of my sight. She closed the door behind her.

It's a useless challenge, stop wasting your time on it Krishna. He couldn't stay in the room any longer, he felt suffocated by her questions. He started banging on the door hoping someone would open the door.

He saw her sitting on the chair, relaxed with a care in the world. How is she so calm, she's making me crazy.

So it looks like we're just going to spend the night here.. Come, sit here with me.

Are you mad? I have better things to do than sit here play with you.
