The differences between Suhani and Soumya is very much the size of the Atlantic ocean, we all know that. Suhani is a sweet girl that values relationships and the importance of them, whilst Soumya cares about relationships as much as she cares about her childhood best friend. But if there is one thing they both have in common, it's denial.
Suhani's denial:
Recently, Suhani has been acting like a little kid who just broke their favourite toy, and yet keep playing with that same toy because they don't want to admit it is broken and move on, because they just love that toy too much. This is literally what Suhani is doing with Soumya. Although it is proven that her "best friend" tried to basically kill her, she doesn't want to admit that, she doesn't want to see her flaws, so she keeps pretending that Soumya isn't broken and continues on keeping the facade of friendship with her, even though she just needs to move on. She just can't because she loves Soumya too much. To the point where she'd rather believe her husband is instigating Soumya into cheating, rather than believe it is her dear friend who might be doing the instigating.
Soumya's denial:
Hers is simple. Her mindset goes as follows: "I am a queen, I most be adored, I must get the best things in life. I am the one who deserves good things in life, therefore I refuse to believe that my friend, who is not as pretty as me deserves a lavish life too." That is literally Soumya summed up. And that is where her denials come in. It's not even the case of her believing Yuvraj loves her, I mean sometimes I don't blame her when Yuvraj acts like he's endeared by her half the time. But it's the case of the fact that she CANNOT accept that someone she believe is inferior to her deserves the life she is meant to have. That is why she is willing to overlook Suhani's feelings, to prove to herself that she deserves Yuvraj; because she can't accept it within herself to lose to someone she feels is inferior to her.
