Thanks, vijay, I did get a notification 5 hours ago that a member "started following your fanfiction." However, she is not listed on my profile's My Followers page. Two months ago, when I got a notification that a member "started following you," the name immediately appeared on my profile's My Followers page.

There is a member who voluntarily followed my Santa Prompts Are Coming to Town contest story after I migrated it to the Fan Fiction section. For months, she was listed on my profile's My Followers page, until a couple of weeks ago, when her name disappeared from that page but she is still a follower of that one-shot story. So, does she only get notified in the unlikely event that I update that particular Completed story? (Hmm, I could retweet the same chapter just to be annoying.) When I post a new story, do only My Followers get notified?

If there are important distinctions between "following your fanfiction" and "following you," please make the options clearer to readers. I mean, instead of a fan fiction's title page having a "Follow" button next to the author's name and an "Add to My Library" button below the author's name, it might make sense to have one "Follow" button (which changes to "Unfollow" rather than "Update Library"), giving radio button options: "Send me notifications for this author" and "Send me notifications for this author for these Entity tags only" and "Send me notifications for this book only."

Since you want to encourage members to use the new fan fiction section, I suggest that whenever someone who reacted on a forum topic gets turned into a Follower of the migrated book, that member could be notified: "FFEditors added you as a follower of this new book" and offered the same options: "Follow the author of this book" and "Follow the author of this book for these Entity tags only" and "Unfollow this book only."

But the site is working fine at our end and no downtime alert message received.

When did this error came?

I keep getting log out from Laptop automatically, it has happened for the third time today 😐

Works fine from mobile though..
