The individual member posted a request in this thread, and I provided the context of her request to illustrate why I think she is asking for too much control over what I can read and write out in the open, where moderators have control.

I have never needed to complain about individual members in any forum or the Fan Fiction section, but thank you for the reminder, just in case.

Hello this is an urgent appeal to Vijay and site admins, why are all self banned accounts suddenly showing as unbanned? We can read all the posts of these banned accounts. Is this a bug? There was a reason why many of us took self bans due to posting of critical private information about ourselves back then because of which many of us have had to face social media harassment with leakage of private info amongst other things. And we can't even login to our old accounts and old forums are locked so can't even edit them out. Requesting the admins to please reconsider this and let the banned accounts stay hidden like it was before.

Can you please address this issue Vijay? As expected people have already started stalking older posts and that too publically in an open forum that is supposed to be only for Bollywood discussion. I think I need to stress enough and remind you that the bollywood forum is filled with creeps and there have been numerous cases before of identity revelation and posting of personal pictures and info on chat thread or otherwise by members using MIDs. This was the reason many of us took self bans so that the stalkers can stop stalking us for once and for all but it looks like it's back to where it all started. I don't think any of the old members in the forum have anymore energy left to deal with stalkers so kindly look into why are posts by banned members again being seen? Is it a bug?

Thanks Raji. For how long will it remain there? I have to remove it manually?

I actually tend to forget to add topics to watch list thats why my posts is easier. I always go to my posts to find all threads im active in😔

It stays forever (until you"Unwatch" the topic)

You can add and remove topics from watchlist manually. Actually any topic that you post is put in Watch list unless you check the tickbox that says put in watchlist or something.

My posts is better but since you had the query, this is the closest solution! 👍🏼

The eye button on top near new topic. When you click it you'll get a popup which will tell the topic is watched or unwatched.

You addressed Neha with my name. I heard it and here I am.😊

"My posts" are the threads which are opened by you or where you post a comment.

As soon as we post a comment or open a thread they automatically go under "My posts".

The purpose of "My watched topics" is, you can follow a topic without posting a comment. This is useful for people who join late, but want to read stories or threads based on their favourite show/s which was/were locked. They can't post a comment but, they can keep it in "My Watched topics" for an easy access. This can be extended to Help Desk threads, Useful hints threads etc,.

This has to be done manually by clicking on the Watch button or Un watch button.

Cheers..

Hello,

A friend of mine had given out a bit of personal information in a few posts many years ago, which she does not want on the internet. The posts have now been closed so she cannot edit her comments.

Is there anything that can be done? She has sent PMs to some of the mods but hasn't got any response yet.

Would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Kali
