This is a screen shot of one of my stories which I migrated to the new format.

The text is supposed to be left aligned, but on the mobile sight is looks like the "justify" alignment is being used on it. It is proper on the desktop site.

There is no problem with the text which is center aligned.

Can someone be informed about this and check why this is happening.

I understand that it's still a beta version, but just wanted to point this out.

Is all the formatting done to posts is not showing up?

I'm trying to color the font but it's not applying to all of it. (#2)

I edited one of the chapter names it still shows as chapter 7.

Can someone look into this?

I will suggest writers not to apply too much formatting to the text. The simpler it is kept it will be easier for readers. Headlines are fine.

Common mistakes:

  • Too many colors
  • Center Aligned text.
  • Setting different fonts.
  • Setting font size.

Regards,

Vijay

Why is centre alignment a common mistake?

I agree one of my posts has 4 colors and thought that to be the problem but a different post I edited, I used a bunch of colors. I didn’t face issue with that. So this felt like a weird lag.

The other post was just 2 colors. I just wanted the contrast there. Still it didn’t show up. (Koeli is helping me with it.)

Centre aligning the Headline is fine. But doing that to the entire text is not easy to read.

Have you come across any book where the content is all centre aligned?

I don’t treat Fan Fiction as a book. And majority of FFs I’ve read over the years have been centre aligned.

Different opinions! I like the visual aspect of it and I don’t think I’m gonna change that.

It’s a work of fiction, a work of art, let the artist take his decision!

Tbh for readers formatting of text is not very important but matter is very important

And except blue and black if long story written in other colors then it is painful for eyes especially red color

Another thing if read books of old writes there is no formatting at all but still love to read their story because of good matter

I will like to read that story again and again which matter is good

No matter how writers use different colors but if story is not good I will not read it again
