I like the new logo, it's simpler and more prominent.

Starting with the fact that I dont pay much attention on logos and stuff. Confessing that I never realised that the current logo represents India, I mean India's flag's colors. For me it always meant bringing people together. Seems like I'm not a good analyser.


Now coming to the new logo
I like the explaination of your idea and the idea itself. But, yeah there is a but.
The new logo does not say what you want to convey, I mean it doesn't resemble the explanation that you gave in your post. It looks more like a Q, rather than a play button with the chat box and the community. The community part looks more like a ribbon.

I think you are on the right way. But the logo needs few changes to make your idea perceived by others too. When looking at it people will get at least half of your idea, that will be your victory.

I feel the colors are perfect, don't go on multiple colors, because it will lose the charm, sometimes simple things are better then complicated ones. Being a logo it needs to be simple and eyes catching. So poeple can remember it easily.
Okay, I have to admit, it is quite eyes catching, but it is also a little abstract, I want to say it does not convey much.

For how would I like the logo and the text, well, I like the second version more, I mean the logo on the left side and the text on the right one. In this way you give importance to both. If you put the text down, the logo catch your eyes and you'll end up kinda ignoring the text and with that what it represents.

This is an honest opinion, not biased, because I'm not a person who gets attached with things like logs. So my opinion is on what you said and what I felt looking at it.

the new Logo really looks amazing and fresh but the new logo has no meaning than the old/current logo. The current logo shows unity, friendship and togetherness.

Why don't you try the make a new logo with using the 3 people? Or maybe you could try to make a new one just like the current one only by changing the color. Btw... awesome logo, I really loved it but the problem is it has no meaning (or it doesn't show the meaning clearly). And the logo is not the only problem, the background of IF (the red stars) it should be changed.

And, could you please check this Thread ? I am waiting for a reply since months.
