Since you have brought this up publicly, I shall reply here as well.

I understand your intent was to make a fun post, which is perfectly fine. We certainly encourage fun posts. However, when you mentioned viewers it comes across as provoking or mocking. No one is saying you can't comment on an actor's acting abilities but involving people and their views is when you cross the line. Mocking an audience was never acceptable and hence why your topic was closed. To you it maybe fun, but to others it has hurt their sentiments.

The topic you have linked above essentially turned into a battleground, or was on the verge too. To avoid the fight, the section DT closed the topic.

Should you have anymore questions, feel free to drop me a PM :)

Thanks,
GK

@blue: I beg your pardon, but the TM never targetted any specific viewer; only the views of the general public on the actress' acting were mentioned...oh wait, they were 'visualized'. Freedom of imagination, anyone?

Plus, if you failed to notice, she did get likes which means viewers DO have that opinion. And even if she wouldn't have gotten any likes, well, it's pathetic how a lil piece of criticism and opinion is indigestible for some DT Members. Get over your high notions of measly virtual powers.

@red: Why not warn the forum members who barge in fighting everytime for the slightest difference in opinion? Why must the whole topic suffer because of the few butthurt members? 🤢

there is so much pessimistic narrow minded thinking tht ppl will take even fun wrongly. as if the actress is their personal property.

and i was only talking abt her acting nothing else. how narrow minded the DT is.

lol. Ask mods of this site as to what they do when they get to see criticism of any star. They either increase WL or ban member when criticism is too much! Somebody teach these mods accepting the criticism n appreciate it.

Where does it say that those who "barge in fighting" will not get warned? They are equally liable and are at fault. Just because you don't see anything being done doesn't mean it hasn't or isn't currently being looked into. Stop assuming otherwise.

Little piece of criticism? For all we care, it could be a big piece of criticism. It's not us who make up the forum but rather members. We are not lurking around with our spy glasses ready to close down topics. The DT place rules and take action based on the forum's nature. We adapt to the situation.

itstimetospeak - Would you have been sportive if similar post was made about your favourite? I'll give you the benefit of doubt and say your post was okay but the comments went in a different direction, it was about the "fans/members" and not about your post.

@BOLD i understand your concerns about the fan wars going on in BV forum. really i dont want anyone to fight bcoz of my post. but members showed zero tolerance to my post. i have made several such posts in the past also but never did i attack fan groups/membrs nor did i post anything on the looks/personal lives of the actors. i know IF rules and i respect them.
what hurt me was the sudden closure of the topic. DT could have posted a warning if fight happens and given a chance to the post. if fights continued then topic could have been closed. but my topic was immediately closed. 😭 if my action demands public apology to ppl who have been hurted i will not feel ashamed in saying sorry to hurt members.
and coming to my favourites. my favs rashmi desai and tina dutta are bashed every other day in uttaran forum. have u seen me fighting with anyone? ask jnawaz she'll tell u. i never indulge in fan wars. my only motive to come to IF is to have fun make memebers smile and smile myself😭
i swear i didnt have any bad motives. 😭 i did the post with a pure heart. atleast DT could have given one chance and posted the warning. there was no need to close it directly.
anyways jo hua so hua. lets not waste our precious time on a post. lets all be like a happy family.
sorry for this trouble. we hope DT will give us a chance to post our views and topics will be closed only if the situation worsens.

Lol. Equally liable at fault? Lord spare us from the fangirl logic. Okay let's take an example. If I call Rani Mukherjee a two faced homewrecker who according to the buzz slept with Govinda and started an affair with the married Aditiya Chopra, does this make omni equally liable and equally at fault as those faggots who go on to wish death upon omni and rape upon his sister? The example was taken to show fanbotic mentality. How can celeb gossiping (which some fangirls in the DT consider to be bashing) be considered equally wrong as member personal attacking? Heck if it makes us 'equally liable', why not we start returning the favour instead? 🥱 There's no point in assuming. If I go on to create some topic right now in one of the Saas-Bahu sections under your cyber jurisdiction and criticise the main lead, i'm drop dead sure to witness a crappy childish note as such within few seconds

'Bashing characters is NOT allowed! Personal life of actors should NOT be discussed. People should understand the SENTIMENTS of others before creating such topics. Action will be taken against those who have breached the rules.

Topic Closed

Sorry but I had to LAUGH OUT LOUD at that closing note🤣
I don't see or understand the logic behind the note or the closure.

What is a fun post?

Well a fun post is one that is made for , enjoyment, amusement, or light-hearted humour or pleasure!!

So please I will like to know which part of portal/Forum rules says that is not allowed.

Mr. Vijay rules should instead change telling us fun post are not allowed

because that closing note made no sense at all😆

I'm assuming based on my experience that Vijay manages IF as part

portal and part forum, if that's the case why are members being put in

cages and made to feel like they're committing a crime?

So let's for a minute compare this place to portals such as Bing, Yahoo,

MSN etc who offer an integrated package of content and services which

I'm part of and freedom of opinion is allowed. Is there really

any comparison?

Look whatever it is Portals generally generate revenue primarily by

attracting very large audiences, charging advertisers for ad placement,

collecting referral fees for steering customers to their site, and charging a
premium for their services. (Note all the adverts surrounding IF page).

I hope some people know what they're doing when they finally put Vijay

out of business!

The point is, this forum needs us more than we need it.
