Ahh, this one.. I think promotion system sucks on IF. Hate the way previous records of members are taken into account instead of their level of maturity and intelligence.

It's not important for moderators to be hard core fans but it is really imperative for them to be mindful, sensible and mature. Most people with great leadership skills are ignored whereas those teen souls that droll over actors or suck upto senior DT members and lack any kind of IQ are promoted.

Tell me one good reason why a person with not a good record but with great intelligence be a moderator? There were mods who promoted their own friends here. Thank goodness, they've all gone.

It only reflects the inadequacy of Dev Team selection criteria. Some of us are not liked by the fangirls who take up the Dev Team positions. Considering how privacy has been violated in the past, can you really expect us to trust you again? What makes the matter worst is how the same fangirls are appointed as the higher ups. Wasn't one blow enough to mend ways?

Just recently, a viewbie who happens to be friends with you helped (or at least) knew how a member's personal pictures were revealed all over IF. It's funny how no action was taken against him. What's even more funny is how the same viewbie conducts regular bitching session about us. I challenge your selection criteria. Amend it before you're actually slapped with a legal notice for infringement of member privacy.
