So thought of posting my views regarding some of the contents discussed here. No offense meant to anyone!

First of all, many a times we had requested Admin Vijay to consider the closure of older forums after a certain period of time, however, there appears to be no set solution for this. If a rule is applicable to one forum, then it is only fair to apply the same rule for all other forums! Furthermore, if the forum continues to face a lot of obstacles despite the show ending some time back, it is not fair for the section DTs. So hope a consistent rule is implemented for better consistency across the forum!

Secondly, regarding the Chat Club Section! We want to clear the air that majority of the terminologies and rules implemented in the forum were there even before we began to moderate two years ago! Some times back, the Invites Only CCs were mostly being used to discuss people's likes and dislikes, without engaging in derogatory activities! In that sense, there were no discussion on what other fan bases and/ or groups of members were doing or any sort of targetting! But now a days, many Invites Only CCs are primarily being used to mock fellow members, regardless of who they are, with terminologies like "Bashers" and "Phankies", etc, along with derogatory statements about these groups of members. The IO CCs have become a place for targeting and pinpointing other members! The CC forum has merely become a section where other forum issues are spilled onto! If other forums issues could be kept to the respective forums, then perhaps we wouldn't be facing many such issues today and/ or even wouldn't have to implement any further rules!

Of course Chat Club is a big section and it is impossible for us to keep track of all the CCs and hence we only base things on whatever is reported or is brought to our attention! But, sometimes, even the reporters of such threats are seen to violate similar rules in their own CCs and it is becoming a big concern! If people are going to create an insecurity by purposely posting comments to attract the on lookers (whom are often discussed in those CCs), then the particular CC members should not be expecting their CC to remain private, because obviously the discussion revolves around other members who are not part of CC, and it is no longer their business only! The whole purpose of Invites Only CC is to allow IF members to chill and relax with group of friends, thereby sharing their likes and dislikes (without making any derogatory statements)! This way they would not have to worry about offending others for sharing a whole different opinion, which everyone is entitled to! But now a days, even having a different POV is being used to target those members! With things going out of hand, we are forced to act based on these rules, as obviously we have to be fair to everyone, regardless of who they are! We are doing the best to ensure any sort of cyber bulling, via derogatory act is limited! However, our hands are only restricted to only the forums we are entitled to, and hence, if people have issues, please bring it up to the section Dts or the GMs rather than bringing them over the CC section!

This is indeed an online portal, where we are going to see people from all walks of life! We are merely here for entertainment purposes (to de-stress from a long day of work/school, etc). Differences of opinion will always exist and all of us must be willing to accept the fact that others have an equal right/ say, the same way we do! But because of this, people shouldn't go about targeting the members who share different opinion! None of us are here to judge others based on what is happening on the virtual world! As such, there should be an end to member targeting/ bashing, etc. With regards to DT issues, if any member encounter an issue, please KINDLY contact the GMs at the earliest and provide your reasoning! If you should insist on opening a thread, then please kindly post the issue in a constructive manner, as at the end of the day a DT is also a member and the whole 'cyber bulling' concept also applies to them right?

Thirdly, there have been many issues that have been brought up on the Suggestion and Comments section and other sections, and despite our numerous attempt, we are still not able to get the expected response or feedback from the tech team of IF and/ or our Admin Vijay! Many of the issues have been left pending for months or even years and it only gets frustrating! This is a kind request to Admin Vijay and the Tech team to work through the issues one at a time to help resolve them! It is unfair on the DT to have to go through a situation where they have no answer to provide the members, even after trying to seek an answer!

Last but not the least, yet most importantly, We do need our Admin Vijay to address this "cyber bullying" issue against members of India-forums.com, as there appears to be no control any more! At the end of the day, members are the power houses that drive this forum!

Anyway, so many good points have been raised on this thread and hopefully they are taken a note of and something is done about them! Once again, it would be appreciated if members could stick to the point and not engage in any sort of argument as it will only drag the issue further. No offense meant to anyone, just sharing my point of view regarding some of the issues discussed here!
