Read my comment again: That's called seeking attention. They are trying to instigate it and they're always being very vocal about it. I see that the members also pay attention to these and that's what they want.

More than the problem in the content of your posts, it was the place where you throwed in your two cents. If you Think we're attention seekers, why not have the guts to say it right infront of us? Why post it in a completely different thread? Trying to win some support huh? Who gives you the right to judge our intentions behind the CC. Whatever we do, it's none of your business.

Alright. Yes I doubt it but unlike others i wouldn't certify that your intentions are not in good faith. How about dealing with some cool viewbies who label some members as 'attention seekers'.

If this was coming from a regular member, that would have counted as an opinion. But since you are a Mod, that statement simply works against what you have been trying to achieve here, trying to be unbiased.

Your one statement or such statements will give more freedom to fans to keep doing what they are doing cuz from their perspective you are basically calling us out and siding with them. Basically gives fans an upper hand and they think they are right in doing what they have been doing.

How about a statement like "If you find anything inappropriate, report the post etc etc"

One thing you need to know is that your tag can work in your favor or against it when you make a statements like these.

After all you did nothing wrong in asking them to report it, neither in using that emoticon. you are as much a member here as anyone else in this place and entitled to your opinion. You also added that the group themselves are vocal about their Modus Operandi.

The kind of harsh language being used suddenly against you after your efforts to make amends, patch up and be of help, rather than being polite themselves is inappropriate.

You also just got called a "back stabber" which is worse than an "attention seeker", although your use of the latter was irresponsible as well, don't you think?

And I support you when you say you did not backstab anyone while posting your opinion openly instead of via PMs. After all you will reply to someone only at a place where you will be asked about it.

I meant that being successful in our lives , raising kids, when some members probably lot younger tags you with vicious names for an actor , it does affect you.want to lash back . but I have come a long way from that phase.

I do appreciate you mods coming here to resolve this,I'm all for seeing it from both sides.

But with great power comes greater responsibility, I guess your statements as a mod can be interpreted differently , than a member.
