Forget to add...there is unnecessary use of Report Button, I think n this is most commonly used by the hormonal Pankhis...there shud be a clear cut view on wat kind of posts are to be reported...coz I have come across most horrible experience in IPK forum where woman's dignity was put to stake, just coz to drool over the male lead...watever the ML does is correct, dare any one to raise their voice! If so immediately the post is reported n trashed! You can degrade the female lead in various ways but dont dare to raise up ur little finger agaisnt the ML! How ironic! I think there comes the misuse of the Report button...Pankhis report against those topics which discuss the inhumane action of the ML n the biased, hormonal Mods trash those posts...but post degrading the FL in the main forum, CCs etc. are open till date n those uncivilized members are still free to bash oops I mean express their views!

Plz Vijay, do take serious steps to stop this misuse of the report button!

Umm, I guess everyone has already addressed all the issues and what needs to be fixed, so I don't want to be repetitive. 😆

Although, I just want to say that closing IPK forum won't be the solution to all these issues, as the others have already mentioned; there have been forums like the IPK forum in the past, and STILL some forums practice some of these pathetic activities.

I have one query though.

Vijay, why haven't you inaugaurated your report PM feature yet like you said? 😛

Trust me this is VERY much needed around here, with some of the fans sending EXTREMELY abbhorrent hateful PMs full of curses/death wishes. I myself have received a couple; one person in the IPK forum mocked a member's death, and still no action has been taken against her. One of my friends was mocked of her appearance, others were wished death upon, etc etc. 🤢

SO it is my humble request to you to STOP overlooking these issues, because at the end of the day they are far more IMPORTANT and need to be addressed ASAP. But you always disappoint us and get more worked up about which celebrity has been called "Soaptea", "Piglet" and "Gober."

It's not important for moderators to be hard core fans but it is really imperative for them to be mindful, sensible and mature. Most people with great leadership skills are ignored whereas those teen souls that droll over actors or suck upto senior DT members and lack any kind of IQ are promoted.

Tell me one good reason why a person with not a good record but with great intelligence be a moderator? There were mods who promoted their own friends here. Thank goodness, they've all gone.

Also if their friends are already promoted, they put in a 'good' word for them and they get promoted too. Its so stupid. Internet Friend on development team therefore you have a chance too. 😆

I think someone on here just proved the point perfectly well... We are all called haters cause we have an issue with the way IF is run... I know I am a fan of loads of actors and there are some people who on purpose bash but when some isn't even allowed to critise you just know the problems likes there...

And if as "haters" we aren't allowed to say anything negative against their favourites but they have full right to bash someone like Viraf who as an actor took on a new project, KW cause he managed to have good chemistry on screen with JW, and various other cases on IF but they all went on unnoticed...

Too many double standards...

And the cyber bullying is just the worse I wonder how IF would react if they found out a member had committed suicide due to the abuse they have had on here... Because it can happen at the rate it is going, imagine if a child's parent sued them because then who is accountable the site, the mods or the people participating in the act... I have been bullied in real life so I don't think I need to be bullied else where!

Many are complaining about report button well i have a complain about it too, why people are reporting posts and make them close? if a post needs to be close then i think it's mod's duty to review them and make them close, report button is simply making mod's lazy and if there is a report button for every single comment then there should be a privacy button for every single comment too otherwise report button should be trashed and yes another thing what is a section named trash bin is doing here in IF? is IF admin's email account? i guess no so trash bin should be trashed too.

But then if the forum is in a volatile state and know that even a mere criticism may force other fandom to reply and hurt them then why such posts are allowed to stay?

Why there is no rules for punishing those members who stalk CC's and report what other talks?

Many Mod's come after 12 am (IST) and close posts so till then why posts are still kept open. There should be way to sort it out.

We want strict actions against those member who Name Call another member or fandoms

people call members Pathetic, losers just because they are liking a couple or an actor..

another thing If rules are made like one fandom is NOT allowed to enter other fandom's post(which is NOT AT ALL Instigating) Then why people enter it?

How are one fandom can feel secure in a forum where they know that MOD's are bias?

A MOD is not a ruler that whenever she/he wishes can raise WL. on any single rule breaking and next time they take time for raising WL for other fandom.

Why WL are made viewable to all MOD's and not to the individual who's WL got raised.?

what if they talk about it outside forum with the people of other fandom and members pass sarcastic comments on IF without any loopholes.

Posts being closed only because people use words like pathetic for an episode.

So I skimmed few pages and I read some of the idiotic comments like 'XYZ brought it upon herself for hating Barun' 'You hate every actor' and such dunk.

It's funny to see such 'goons-wannabe' out here trying to shut you by taking cyber-law in their own fingers. What's up with this intimidation and threatening huh? You actually think we give two hoots about this? I say KSG is a cheat and Barun's an unprofessional dishonest actor who fooled his fans by lying all this time. Let me see what harm have I brought upon myself?

All those moral policing how we shouldn't be discussing the personal lives because of information asymmetry yada yada. I ask them to give this crap to someone who actually gives a flying f**k about it. As per this logic, no ATs should be permitted because it provides a 'platform' to praise every second of an actor's life. What's even more surprising is to witness comments like 'These haters have no life. How can they hate someone who they've never personally met'. This only shows the level of their maturity. I counter question all such fangirls, how can you lubbb someone who you've never personally met? For you, praising some XYZ cheats/homewreckers/unprofessional actors may be what's cyber life all about. For us, it's not. Live yours and let us live ours.

Mr Vijay, my concerns are the same shared by others. but i have a major concern with India-Forums which needs to be addressed publicly.

Most of the General Announcements are rather based on serials on celebs, May I ask why a General topic regarding a social issue is never considered for a sticky topic as GA. instead its being abused as a

'promotional activity' i simply hate this thing at your india-forum that whenever a member tries to raise a voice to get more attention in form of a general announcement. it is always rejected, doesn't matter how important it is, instead its called a promotional activity.

BIGGEST EXAMPLE is this thread made by me https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/members-lounge/3547723/take-a-stand-think-watch-and-share which was based on the recent cruel activities done on women. instead when i spoke to all mods to make it sticky, they said they can't becoz they find it promotioal. comeon Vijay Sir stop abusing your own site. instead you can give me a better excuse. i am not a cheap person to get anything from a social cause.

Okay , Im no adult but one who is trying to come into the practical world rather than living on a dream land ...

On the outset , let me thank the TM for this post . It indeed put some brains into me..

And please do not refer to my previous posts to judge who i am or do i have rights to comment on this topic . I was a kid that time and i have been acting maturely only since a fortnight or so ...

My concerns :-

1. Please clarify what bashing means

2. Remove Biased MODS

3. Block comments in Television Celebrity Ranking threads ...That one seriously sucks . It is the place where members fight for actors like cats . If possible remove the entire chaska meter Ranking system , TV celebrity ranking system .

IF rules is like Indian Constitution , not clear at all 😆
