I'm not an obsessive fan of any kind, in fact I barely visit the forum these days 😆 In any case I agree that IF has been home ground for cyber bullying. Whether it be people who can't accept that there may be people who don't like their favorite actors or their favorite shows et al.

With that said of course, IF is a place for fans by and large and if people want to indulge in drooling or fangirling that's their predicament is it not?

Constructive criticism, absolutely. But using horrible language(calling anyone, actors and users, a two bit wh**e is NOT freedom of speech) making up stories (actually the making up rumors comes from the fans'), constantly hating(I've never understood this, the opposite of love is indifference and it baffles me how people get so much time but that's strictly my opinion) etc it makes me want to avoid IF (which is what I've been doing).

So my profile pic is that of KSG and Sobti, that automatically labels me as a fanbot incapable of thinking. There are people who find middle ground you know. Close IPK forum for a the haters on one side and close the IPK forum for fanbots on the other.

What about people who just miss their show and miss their friends?

if people cant like my critical analysis or even harsh comments then i can also complain about others TM's for their praising a celeb .

why is it that we can only report for bashing Not for overtly praising a celeb ???

Some mods have said that talking ill about a celeb hurts the fan TM's.

So the conclusion is Not to hurt others.OK fine

But what if i or anybody feels hurted to see a undeserving person being praised??

Now dont tell me its different. Being HURT is HURT whether appreciating a undeserving person/celeb or critising a celeb

So if some ppl get offended by Bashing.

Some ppl may also get offended by excessive undeserving adulation too

now will forums make rule that a person gets hurted only by crticism and bashing?

it wud be like an online forum tellin us to how to breathe, how to talk, how to walk, and wen to fel happy or feel sad.

it wud be disgusting.

But if i report for praising a celeb no action will be taken.

why it is that only bashing can be condemned not drooling?

which book on world states that a person can only get offended by criticism???

But to see biased set up in a popular website like India forums does question its credibility.

The question is ppl are saying much tough things outside in twitter and FB even to politicians, Big leaders evn Big celebrities and journalists.. Even a top journo like barkha dutt is not spared.There are such bashing and humiliating cartoons of political figures.

and here ppl are raising issues on criticism of some new wannabe actors who hv just stepped in this rude, starightforward, zone of entertainment industry.

Celebs will face criticisms and even much more

the name India forums wud be an contradiction if expression of opinion is kept limited to drooling stuff

please remove the name INDIA from india forums.

supression of opinion is not the base of india...

iam serious about it being a citizen of this country and it doesnt feels good to see the name of a country associated with a website which believes in supression.
