@ Bold The same way if you see a Dev team member making a "wrong post/accusation/judgement" and abusing their power, you're supposed to take a stand instead of justifying every crap of theirs.

If you cannot see any wrong in them, how can you expect us to act any different?
🥱

You set the culture.
We follow it.

You nailed it. There's no personal interaction with a "Sellebrity" (you know, a celeb wanabe who sells crap which the fanbots buy).

If there's no personal interaction with a "Sellebrity", how can our comments which target them be labelled as "personal attack"

How about the members who actually interact with us and their interaction is only limited to the death wishes and abuses. That's not a personal attack. Correct?🥱

We at Dev Team DO NOT encourage "death wishes and abuses" from any member whether its a fan or not a fan. If you call someone "fanbots" then you are not going to get good response.

If you do not agree with someone you can simply voice it by saying I do not agree simple. Why call names in that?

Agreed. But what's interesting is that you only choose to interrupt the cycle when the fans are questioned, not when they are doing their, let's call it "what they do".

I support this because it was necessary in the current environment. I personally don't bother with these shows or forums as I don't like them. But many of the members have been abused and lashed at for the thing you say is allowed on your site, constructive criticism. Thus, this is a counter of sorts. But still, I avoid abusing any celebrities involved.

So yes, make the site celebrity neutral. The day fans start taking the critics maturely, you can expect the same from other site. Get those under control, and you will have my support. Can you do that?

So on one hand you say "two wrongs do not make one right" while your very next post says "If you call someone "fanbots" then you are not going to get good response"

So basically, if word fanbots is used, instead of that post being reported by the fan, he or she is allowed to retort back with death threads/abuses and you can simply ignore it since the word fanbot isn't supposed to give a good response. 😕

You gotta do better than this man, you keep getting trap in your own words, one after the other. Do you know the reason why this happens, when someone doesn't have an unbiased attitude, simply my take on it.

Is there any option where online websites so called discussion forums can be complained of abuse and can get it shut down
At least the young minds can be out of it

And then you expect good responses for people who are termed "bashers" and "fear mongerers"? 😆

And why can't the fans simply just voice their disagreement normally instead of terming the critic a basher?

Hello everyone (and Vijay),

I know I have next to no reason to be here, but I wanted to put my thoughts down instead of being a silent observer in this virtual debate that's turning into more of a useless fight with random issues being brought in. I think somewhere the point of the thread is getting lost in all of us trying to fight and argue with each other over essentially the same thing.

Omni and friends, you know I love you guys, but you have to agree that a lot of your methods are not right! That being said, I think it is worth noting that the responses you get are also not right.

I, personally (please separate me from the DT tag you're seeing with my ID color), think personal attacks and 'bashing' (I use this term lightly) another member is the worst virtual crime as it's hurting feelings and people then and there. However, both sides stoop to this! Either one solely blaming the other without taking any blame themselves is the pot calling the kettle black.

However, I do think it is not right to publicly mention someone's WL level or any other DT related action that occurred. That much privacy is entitled to every member on the forum - no matter how (un)popular they may be. The DT should set an example and should take a second to practice what they preach - ignore and report. But everyone makes mistakes, we should all learn to forgive and forget. [Harder said than done, I know]

I can't promise much of anything on the rest of the site, but on forums given to me, I can say you guys are all welcome to come and discuss and share your feelings. However, don't be upset when you see PMs from me (or my co-DT) when you cross the line. And I promise the same will happen to the other side as well. You may start the war, but both sides use similar weapons in an attempt to win it!

Regards,
Gunia
