@Vijay: Can you start paying these Mods, the fair ones of course. End of the day once you start paying them, Mods won't take things lightly and will have to abide to code and conduct of being fair. And if a Mod is found biased, fire him or her.

Once this starts happening, Mods will be careful at the fear of being fired and not getting incentive not to get into argument or personal remarks, which I have seen happening on many forums.

And make a strict selection committee for hiring the Mods whom members can trust.

Mr. Vijay, I am pretty sure your team does not encourage "death wishes and abuses" from any member, but it ain't doing anything to protect the victims of such abuses either. 👎🏼
Take the IPK forum for example, where threads bashing certain members went on for 50+ pages, while one criticising the actor was closed as soon as it was posted...biased moderatorship to the core.

IF ought to have fairer-MODs in the DT team.

Most of us agree that personal threats and virtual harrassment is the worst cyber crime. That could actually be reported.

I still cannot understand how that can be justified under any circumstance. Call us hatemongers or trolls but it still better dissing an unkown television celeb than humilating a fellow member for no good reason.

Agreed. But what's interesting is that you only choose to interrupt the cycle when the fans are questioned, not when they are doing their, let's call it "what they do".

I support this because it was necessary in the current environment. I personally don't bother with these shows or forums as I don't like them. But many of the members have been abused and lashed at for the thing you say is allowed on your site, constructive criticism. Thus, this is a counter of sorts. But still, I avoid abusing any celebrities involved.

So yes, make the site celebrity neutral. The day fans start taking the critics maturely, you can expect the same from other site. Get those under control, and you will have my support. Can you do that?

What all you think would be fine to discuss about a celebrity and which is not currently allowed? Give some examples please.

It's actually scary how death threat is being brushed off as just "not a good response." 😳

And we understand you don't encourage it. And you also don't encourage "negativity" But why do you only take action on the latter and not the former? Either get involved fully or stay out of it.

It's actually very simple, just think what the fans thrive on, and take its opposite.

E.g. :- If they can praise about the good looks, people should also have right to say if they found them not good lucking. If someone find them good actor, some might be able to say they don't find his acting good, etc. I think you get the idea. Let those be done without a fan jumping in with attacks, and people will give the fans the same respect.

I'll give you some examples.

How about asking the your Dev team members to quit sending us love shedding pms each time we discuss about an actor and not a character. What's so wrong if we go on to call an actor, a two timer or a home wrecker. Let me refresh your memory. The same damn article was posted on your own web portal. If you really wish to keep the personal lives seperate, why post such articles on the first place? 🥱

Secondly, what's wrong if someone calls a quitter, a quitter. Didn't the actor popular as HAWT BARUN SOBTI among fangirls and Barun Soaptea among us, called it a quit and left?🥱

Also Celebrities' life is out in open. Then why members aren't allowed to discuss about it. If hook ups/break ups of the actors are published on the site and discussed, why isn't same allowed to be discussed.

Any actor's life is an open book, so members should be allowed to talk about it. Why can't Salman's accident/court cases, Siddhu's court cases (Big Boss examples) Grover's marriage/cheating, Barun being a quitter, etc etc be discussed without having an army of people pounce with personal remarks.

The rule of not discussing an actor's personal life doesn't make any sense when the virtual world is filled with their articles but on IF only positives are to be discussed while the negatives of the actors aren't be brought in. Every person have their pros/cons and both should be brought in the light for a balanced discussion.
