After reading so many posts here in this thread I think bottom line is :

The age rule doesnt hold any value as the rule by default clearly says that below the age of 18 members have no entry. - any rule in connection to this is completely invalid & its not of our concern.

About closing threads without any proper justification i dont wanna name them now but i have experienced just one mod responding to me most of the time & the other 2 really do not both my out box colour tells me a different story altogether.

I m going to name this mod because she seems to be doing it to everyone & its damn frustrating - its Mandy she doesnt respond to any one pms & closes threads when ever she wants. Its gets a lil too much with her dominance. She never gives proper reasoning come what may.

Also, there is a presumption of who we are before responding to us. This comes from a complete lack of understanding of the company and the work they are in. When you get down to defending a point, there is such wealth of crap on the web that you can throw it at people just to extend the argument.

That is fundamental. She missed the point that I was NEVER restricted on any of the American Portals that I have used/built.

I choose to remain anonymous because I am quite enjoying this ride of being an unknown and people trying to teach me what the law says or what can be enforced etc!

The whole experience is FUN and I will carry it with me -- may use it my "talks" around the valley when we talk about "development of Indian Business"!!!

Us Indians love our country/culture/heritage no matter what but it is becoming more and more difficult to "unconditionally love" our brethren from the mother land.

Hey guys,

I do see that I have been quoted a lot here. Many of the members concerns have valid points. I agree about the closure of the topics, attending members PMs, not close down the entire topic when problematic posts can be removed etc. We will be taking it up with the concerned DTs so it doesnt happens again.

PS! About the COC and legal issue is something the admins will be looking into.

The main problem with the forum is they are no way concerned about the welfare of the members or improving the user experience, they are much more worried about how to improve their image, how to protect the celebrities, how to make the life of a MOD happier and so on...India Forum is what it is because of its members and not because of the TV industry or the personalities which its features on the front pages.

The member is never a stake holder here but a victim of myopic management vision. Had they ever cared about the members they would have improved the response system which sucks big time.

I cannot believe that a MOD is free enough to close the threads, roam around the forum, chat or update on various threads but has no time to open the PM box, it takes ages for them to view and weeks to respond i.e if one is lucky or has a better relationship. Why is that it takes 5-6 PM's to get one response and that too will be some sort of delayed tactic like I will get back..

All the examples which I quoted in Aaahanas response were from Mandy only. I never had problem with Khushix, she is the best MOD without any doubt whatsoever when it comes to brisk and to the point response. Mandy the lesser said the better, I can make a long post on her on the issue of baseless thread closures and no PM responses but I don't want this thread to be closed down as I am sure they will be itching to close it..
