Just a thought....READ!!!

I was thinking wouldnt it be a great idea to have forums for the channels like a forum for sony and star..where dicussions about the show can take place??

But we need a need a moderaotr to say what they think and see they open forums...

So are the channel forums going to be opened?

i really think we shud press 4ward wit this idea coz in the weekends im jus like a bhoot roamin about 😕

Hey suggestion is good, but exactly what do you propose to achieve, thats not very clear.

We have shows for most popular shows of every channel in IF.

Do you mean that besides these, you would like another "General Shows" or "Other Shows" section where the other shows/ related topics of the channels can be discussed?

wat we mean is- we would like another forum for each TV CHANNEL so all the ppl who watch SONY serials can go to a seperate section for sony instead of going to the members lounge coz that is jus too overcrowded... wat do u think priya ji?

Magnificient_Me and Sakhil you both do have a good idea. However, for generally talking we do have a members lounge. At the end of the day we are a discussion forum and not a chatting forum. By creating a members lounge for each channel, we will only be creating sections for general chatting sections, which is not the goal. You guys are welcome to give us solid reasons for why this should be implemented and then maybe some convincing can be done. I hope you guys can understand our point of view too!

the reason why i want seperate channel forums is coz in the members lounge there is basically a topic on ANYTHING and sumtimes u jus cant get other ppl talkin wit u coz they already know a grp of ppl there.... most of the things ppl talk bout r-

- bollywood weddings, films etc...

- other channel serials

- postin bday wishes

- fan-fics

- postin level statues (frm senior member to goldie)

and etc...

thats why i never feel dat comfortable in that forum... if u ask most ppl they wud also agree with me.. example- the new members would ALSO think the same way...

these are just my thoughts Priya and Dolly di coz im always doin my best to make IF even better....

Shakil but what's the purpose of having a member's lounge for every channel? All the discussions do take place in the respective forums for each serial. The members lounge becomes the one place where people can get to know eachother. See channel forums would not have many discussions going on (except chatting) because all the shows are already being discussed in their own forums. There needs to be a reason to open those sections and for us to allot a certain number of dev team members who will look after the sections.

Right now you may feel uncomfortable in the Members Lounge but it is a place for everyone to get to know eachother. Try getting to know others and you will find that the same people you see in the ML are the ones you may have seen in the channel forums. At the end of the day the forum has the same people, to have more sections is not going to change the people or the atmosphere. I hope you can understand where we are coming from....
