not IF itself 😃
i know what you says but there's no need to add security patches cause in mine one i have microsoft windows vista service pack 2(OEM Addition) With all Security Patches In My Dell Leptop And Stil I Am Receiving This Alerts Here Are The Pictures.Hey,
First of all I would like to say that I never faced this problem and there has been no "Virus Alert" or "Hack Alert".
The best way to ensure that you do not get infected follow this:
a) Get a Good anti-virus + firewall (I am using McAfee and have not found any problem with it)
b) Use a genuine Operating System and if you are using Windows then regularly use "windows update" to apply all the latest Security Patches. I am using Windows 7 Professional and Windows XP on another and I am happy with both.
c) As someone mentioned above that dont visit doubtful sites. I do not know about the external links that are posted on India-Forums so just be a bit more cautious when you surf such site. As far as India-Forums is concerned all the ads are served from Google Admanager and all the ad networks are reputable agencies.
Incase if you still face any problem on any of the links which you feel is dangerous please let us know so that our team can investigate on the same and a screenshot with the Alert message will be of great help.
Cheers,
Vijay
