Thanks for the updates hopper.

My views are little contrasting when compared to you all. I don't want Senthil to accept to that Villi's condition. If at all Jaya's mom's proposal was genuine or out of love then it's fine but this is just an out and out selfish act. If Senthil goes down and accepts to this then I'm sure next they will be demanding more like Senthil also shud give his money to our family only becoz Jaya's mom is so selfish that she would plan for living a more lavish lifestyle with Senthil's extra money. She would just leave some crocodile tears and Jaya would agree to that condition too😡. When Jaya is ready to sacrifice her love for this kind of a villi mom then I find no mistake in Senthil sacrificing his love for his PAASAMALAR family who genuinely love and care for him. But I'm sure nothing of this wud happen😡.

Whatever Jaya's mom spoke was quite valid but not the intent(or maybe not, not sure now; I am going to give her the benefit of doubt). I liked when she said she was the Senthil of their house and for the first time her side argument has some weight.

I am confused.

Agreed. As much as I don't like how Jaya's mom is acting, her justification for her actions is valid. If anything, the rest of the family needs to step up for Jaya. There are three educated women in that house, who can and should work to ease their mom's worries. Instead of relying on Jaya all the time, Ramya, Janani, Sakthi and Jaya's dad should be more focused on balancing Jaya's financial burden.

That said, I think Senthil's mom is going to be the one to solve this issue. I hope she doesn't turn into a typical Tamil serial villain MIL and instead, one that is willing to make a sacrifice for her soon to be DIL. That would be a touching twist, imo (also, I really like the combo scenes between Jaya and Senthil's mom - it's refreshingly different from the usual MIL-DIL portrayal).

Jayas mom character is. Confusing.

Yesterday she had valid reasons to ask Semthil as veetoda mapillai.

But in earlier episodes she was shown as a spendthrift buying costly sarees and jewels beyond their limits .. If she is worried about money she should have saved and shouldn't have enjoyed with Jayas money.

This Veetoda mapillai condition planned by ramya, youngest sister and their mom to stop the marriage. They think that Senthil will not agree for this and will breakup with jaya. These trio knows jaya's weakpoint so they are using mom for emotional blackmailing.

If Senthil mom agrees for this condition, they will get shock and will think for new plan to stop the marriage.

I think there is nothing to worry there. If they are going on with this vm concept we should be more concerned abt Senthil and Jaya's mom relationship... becoz I don't think Senthil will easily forgive her & co(when he finds out who that is)... 😛

This is actually a side I didn't think of. But, I think they will be too shocked to think of a new plan😛. I don't know abt Ramya and the younger one but Jaya's mom will be happy.

Yesterday's episode was confusing. I really son't understand Jaya's mom😕 oru naal anniyan... oru naal ambi... yaaru pa neenga😕

As many of you pointed out, whatever she said yesterday was valid. We have already seen how Jaya is the one who takes all the decisions and how everyone listens to her(Shakti's job scene... Loan for Divya... Mappillai for Ramya)... She is the backbone of the family... but... as Jaya's mom herself said in yesterday's episode... it is not correct to ask too much to a single person. All her sisters are not kids that they need some one to take care of them. They are fully grown up and have jobs of their own.

They should start taking up responsibilities... atleast Ramya and Janani should start supporting their family. Jaya can support Shakti and Divya till they can stand on their own feet, then she can support her aging parents. Summa asking her to do everything is stupid. Instead of asking Jaya to sacrifice, her mom should teach her other daughters how to be responsible.

If all this is a drama and a plan to just stop the marriage... then I have no words... Ipdi oru amma yaarukkum kedaikka kudaathu

They are the sweetest pair... Jaya's true mother and support is Senthil's mom... Hope they don't spoil the MIL and DIL relation...
