OK NOW MY REVIEW...
The episode was hella amazing...
the start of the show was very dark, the colors and lights...i thought i was watching some western show or the colors of my TV have gone all wrong...
as it was getting deeper and deeper the effect was more solid.
THE CASE : Anita is living with her boyfriend sujoy and obviously things r not good between the two...he doesn't trust her and she is upset about it. Anita decides to become free and cast a new relationship with her boss by getting intimate in his own car outside the rock bottom club. Mukta a girl who loves Sujoy doesn't like the fact that he is still with Anita. Mukta wants him totally.
after a brief pre-martial sex, ayush leaves from the car to get a drink only to find Anita killed in the car. How things went so ugly...
CASE :9/10 depicting the open relationships in metros is not a easy task but it was very nicely done. ignore some points here and there and its perfect.
OFFICERS :
Shaina : it would be stupid to say that the officer who makes the maximum impact on this first episode is someone else but not shaina...just look at her...the pace the show opens u are completely bound to admit how a helluva powerful force u r facing on Television, and let's accept it Aryan though brillaint, was a simpleton in the first 30 minutes. its only his personal case opening up makes his character interesting.
But Shaina makes it in 10 minutes...remember her dialogues...OPEN RELATIONSHIP ? WHAT BULL ? KYON BACHON KI TARAH BAAT KAR RAHE HO...SACH KYA HAI ? this episode belongs to shaina in the true sense...as she twirls her pencil u can notice aggressiveness on her face and she is just boiling to get the bad guys in jail as soon as it can be. 10/10...the more i write i may fill this thread for 100 pages how much i loved her.
this role was tailormade for kuljeet...any other actress could have played it just WRONG..and stupid.becoz
kuljeet was controlled, the aggressiveness and anger that she portrays always look right on her and not even once it looks overboard.
not only shaina looked aggressiveness, she had a pleasing and soft personality...after this once...shaina was seen as a more sober kind of an officer and her aggressiveness came back after the latter episodes...towards the end.
shaina stands out in the true sense as she could have easily made an impression out of the team, her smile and her guts proved that the society needs women like shaina. soft and tough on both sides.
ARYAN: aryan as i said was great...though he opened up as a normal chief police officer but his case brings us closer to the character and feeling him...what is this young man doing here without his wife and child...why can't he come out of his guilt and settle down again. what is his goal. aryan's character is built of tragedy and guilt which is very convincing on the take he believes in solving crime cases. superb his character looks real and not the huballabo CID thingy that makes a real life superhero...NAH ! he is just an ordinary man carving for love and fulfilling his duty.
Ajay : ajay was irriating but still funny though it was 2005, his look could be tolerable...anyone watching him in this episode can think of him being a gay or a bi...just a thought..tht gold highlighted color thing on his hair doesn't look nice...but he looked smart nevertheless, half of his time spent in searching for his watch 😆
Neha : neha was brilliant, thought i don't think a computer wiz like her in so casual clothes in a police oriented squad would make any sense, but there is innocence in her character and smartness which makes u forget these things...
others i found all simple...they couldn't make much impact.
ACTING BY THE SUPPORTIVE CAST : they were all ok ...sujoy keeps coming in crime patrol too, he also featured in SS for one or two episodes i guess. he was good...ayush was ok as a guy who was shocked and worried on the death of anita and extremely baffled on being caught..instead he ran from crime scene...Gazal rai as mukta was ok...i have seen this episode many times and although i have appreciated her act as a 17 yr old psycho...now she seems just ok to me...she could have been better.
ALL IN ALL A MUST WATCH CASE !
