Few minutes later, the doctor came back….

Aryan: How is she doctor? ❓

Sitting down in his chair the doctor answered….

Doctor: Mr.Khanna…. She is fine… Achcha hua ki kal aapne unhe hospital leke gaye after swelling… It mustn't be ignored…. Fracture me asar padta hai…. To healing bhi thode din aur lagenge… Maine casting kar di hai… Its wet… Thoda dry hone dijiye then you can take her… Lekin medicines time pe de dijiyega…. 😳

Getting up Aryan shook hands with the doctor and said…

Aryan: Thank you sir! Aur medicines ka bhi main khayal rahoonga… 😊

Aryan came out of the room and looked around… Dipika was not there…. Just then he saw the nurse who was the doctor and stopped her….

Aryan: Nurse… Casting kahan karte hain? Vo Dipika Gosh…

Nurse: (Nodding) Haan… Vo us room me…

The nurse indicated a room at the end of the corridor…

Aryan thanked the nurse and went to the room… 😊

He entered the room and stopped short at the entrance….☺️

Dipika who was seated on the bed looked up and became stunned…. 😲

Embarrassed Aryan looked down and said or rather blabbered a lot…☺️

Aryan: Vo main... Haath… Casting…. Nai… Tumhare… I… I…

Dipika: (Smiling a little seeing him stutter that way)Its okay Aryan… Vo doctor casting kar rahe the naa, isliye coat remove karna pada…. Just a moment I'll get ready…

Aryan: Yeah… Me… I mean… I'll wait outside….

Dipika just nodded and saw him leave the room… Shaking her head and smiling she reached for her coat and tried putting it on…. 😉

Outside the room……

Coming out of the room Aryan took out his kerchief and wiped the sweat that had formed on his forehead…. 😆 Then he went and sat heavily on the chair beside the room door and exhaled deeply….. 😉

He thought of Dipika and wondered… "Office me suit me hi aati hai… Aur maine socha tha ki she would have only traditional casuals…. Lekin aise attires?!!? (Smiling a little to himself 😳 ) Not that she looks bad in it… Jo bhi pehenti hai usme achchi hi dikhti hai….. (Then hitting his forehead ) Mr.Aryan Khanna…. What are you doing? Bewakoof… Gaddhaa… You must be… Er… Must be what? Yeah…. Sued for this…." 😆

Then he waited for her to come outside… After a minute he wondered why still she hadn't come out… Does wearing a coat take so much time….?!?! 🤔

Then again he hit his head and got up… Of course…. How could she wear her coat alone? Her hand is in plaster! Aryan… You are stupid! 😕

Saying Aryan hurried inside the room wondering how Dipika was faring….

Inside the room……

Dipika tried holding the coat in her right hand to wear it through her left hand, put couldn't lift her right hand to the full…. Feeling a little pain she winced…. 😵 So she changed the strategy and tried putting the coat through her right hand… She could reach half through the arm till the support on her neck and found because of that she couldn't continue…

Sighing she removed her coat… Then she removed her support around her neck and immediately winced as the weight of her casting pulled her hand down…. Before she could steady her hand another hand came up and held it….☺️

Surprised Dipika looked up and saw Aryan holding her right hand and staring at her…. 😳

Aryan: Er.. I am sorry… Aise hi chod kar chala gaya… And well… I thought you would need my help!

Dipika blushed while nodding slightly… ☺️

Dipika: I… Er… Its okay!

Aryan: May I? ❓

Dipika looked up at Aryan who was looking back with the same passion in his eyes… Dipika just kept looking on not answering his question…. Aryan took it as her aprroval and helped her to wear the coat….

He held her right hand slipping the coat up it first… Then he put the support around her neck… While Aryan held the coat Dipika slipped her left hand into the coat's arm…

As Aryan straightened her coat behind Dipika felt his hand brush her neck and startled with a tingling sensation…. Aryan was close enough to her to feel her close presence… ☺️

Aryan's hand slipped down Dipika's right hand and left hand down her left hand…. Dipika felt all her pain vanish with his touch…. She closed her eyes feeling the moment wondering whether it was true to her heart… 🤗

Just as Aryan's hand was about to embrace Dipika, fate had its call… 😡

Aryan's cell buzzed… Both of them came out of their trance and jumped apart… Aryan looked at Dipika and groped for his cell while Dipika turned around to look at Aryan embarrassed with their state a moment back…☺️

She saw him take his cell with an expression which she could read as relief… This puzzled Dipika as someone would actually have been annoyed here and not relieved to be interrupted…. 😕 Thinking this she left the room …. Aryan looked at her go and wanted to stop her but held on…. Without even looking at the number he said…

Aryan: Koun hai? ❓

Aryan: Oh Ajay tum! Haan bolo….

He started to move of the room hearing Ajay talk at the other end….

Aryan: (Annoyed) Kya? Itni jaldi? Oh man! 🤢

Dipika standing outside the room looked at Aryan been irritated by something…..

Aryan: Haan haan… Pata hai.. Vo… Ek minute… You know what! Hum abhi wahan aate hain… Dipika ke haath me plaster lagvane hospital aaye hain… Its over... We'll be there soon….

Aryan: Chullu bhar paani ho to try to drown him in that…. Okay? 😡

Saying Aryan cut the phone huffily and looked at Dipika who was looking at him suspiciously and questioningly… 😈

Aryan: (Shrugging his shoulders) What? ❓

Dipika: (Knitting her eyebrows) What what? Maine kya poocha? 😳

Aryan: Er… Nothing… Chalein? ❓

Dipika just nodded and followed Aryan to the car… Something about Ajay's call frustrated Aryan and it didn't take long for her to guess what or rather who might be the cause for his disturbance…… 🤔

In the car……

Dipika looked at Aryan who was still annoyed and was mumbling all the while driving the car….. 😕

Dipika: Francis?!?? ❓

Aryan looked at Dipika surprised and asked…..

Aryan: Kya? What about him now? 😡

Dipika: Nai… He's come to office right? That was Ajay's call….

Aryan looked at her, rolled his eyes and nodded… 😔

Aryan: Yeah yeah… That pirate only!

Dipika: (Widening her eyes she said sternly) Aryan! 😲

Aryan: What? Waise hi dikhta hai to waise hi bula raha hoon… Any problem? ❓

Dipika: You are behaving like a kid Aryan… Nick names rakh rahe ho….

Aryan saw at her smiling and he too smiled and said…

Aryan: But thinking of him his name doesn't come in front, only the word pirate does… Main kya karoon? 😆

Dipika chuckled at his childish behavior and shook her head…. She thought "Aryan sirf isi baat se irritated ho rahe ho… Aage to lagta hai that guy is gonna irritate you a lot… Pata nahi how you will handle that… Haan main to hoongi… But still…" 😉

Looking at her smile Aryan felt very happy… Because since that incident on Valentine's Day Dipika had sort of forgotten to smile let alone a laugh.… 😕

To let her be like this happy and long living he had refrained from telling her his feelings… But what was happening to him? Today in the room…. How could he have let his emotions take over his brain… He decided to be more careful from then on… Then he remembered that each time he said that to himself and each time he broke the resolutions……… 🥺

Aryan: Tumse kuch poochoon? ❓

Dipika: (Nodding) Hmm… Hmm…

Aryan: I thought you wear only Indian casuals…. I mean…

Dipika: (Smiling 😊 ) Pata hai Aryan…. But tum bhool gaye ki I have been living in London since my birth…. Padhayi ke baad hi India aayi… Of course holidays me main, papa aur mamma kuch dinon ke liye yahan aate the… But our living has been in London…. Uska asar hota hi hai naa…. Mere dost who are there come to India sometimes… Tab dresses laate hain mere liye.. Also I like wearing them… Maybe not often but occasionally…. 😛

Aryan: (Mostly to himself) Oh then I guess its fine…. 😉 😳

Dipika: (Frowning) Kya? ❓

Aryan: (Smiling cheekily) Nai… Nothing… Bas… Its fine… Wahi kaha…. 😆

Aryan tried his best to avoid Dipika's stern suspicious looks… 😃

After a few minutes of drive he braked to a halt and said looking up the building………….

Aryan: Lo hum aa gaye….

Dipika nodded... Both of them got out and Aryan gave the car keys to the watchman to park it in the lot...

As Aryan and Dipika started up the stairs she wondered…. "Kaali Maa… Pata nahi andar kya hone waala hai? Oh... Francis and Aryan seem not to like each other.... Lekin is mission khatam hone tak dono ko kaboo me rakhna hoga… Maa!" 😕

Both of them entered the Special Squad office….

Aryan and Dipika entered Special Squad….

Everything seemed to be normal and yet something was amiss…. They came to the reception, by passed it… Along the lobby they saw Ajay and Boxer standing outside their cabin, hands folded looking somewhere angrily… 😡

Aryan and Dipika looked at each other wondering what was wrong and went up to them…

Aryan was about to ask them what the problem was when Dipika suppressing a smile nudged Aryan on her left… Aryan looked at her questiongingly and she indicated the direction Ajay and Boxer were looking…. Aryan looked that way and smiled a little looking at the scene…. 😉

Francis was seated on Neha's table and was talking to her… Haseena too was sitting near Neha talking to Francis… Both seemed to be enjoying their talks…. Just then both of them laughed out and Francis was grinning…. 😛

Aryan then looked at Dipika smiling more broadly…. Dipika indicated Ajay and Aryan nodded…. Ajay had his eyes shrinked and was staring at the scene angrily….. 😕

Aryan cleared his throat… Ajay and Boxer came out of their senses and looked at Aryan…

Boxer: Koun hai vo? He said something about special orders from Commissioner aur yaheen se kaam karne waala hai... He did show the Commissioner's orders! For me he looks like a pirate❓

Both Aryan and Dipika laughed out at this... Ajay and Boxer looked at them surprised and Aryan explained...

Aryan: Francis Ashokraj Malhotra... He is on a special mission and we'll be helping him out… Poori details to confidential hai… Lekin ye baat hai ki he'll be working from here now on! And hume bhi aisa hi laga tha ki he....

Aryan didn't complete his sentence because just then Ajay made a crying face and hugged him wailing……

Ajay: Nahiiiiiii!!!!!!!! Aryan!!!!!!!!!!! Meri kismat ki waat lag gayi Aryan…. Waat lag gayi! 😭

Boxer too made a very sorry face and stroked Ajay's back consoling him…. 😕

Aryan looked at Dipika and both tried their best not to laugh out at such a reaction…. For the first time Ajay was feeling insecure about Neha…. And that was something out of the blue! 😔

Trying his best not to laugh Aryan said……

Aryan: Ajay… Aisa bhi kya hua hai? ❓

Ajay parted from Aryan and looked at him shocked…. Hand over his heart he indicated Neha and Francis and his mouth wiggled…. 🥺

Ajay: Mera pyaar! Meri zindagi! Meri would-be Aryan!

Dipika coughed out and Aryan looked at her concerned but saw that she was holding her mouth and stifling her laughter… Aryan grinned at her and turned back to Ajay…. 😃

Aryan: (Hitting him on his arms) Ajay… Bahut dramatic mat bano…. Baatein to kar rahe hain!

Now it was Boxer who retorted…..

Boxer: Baatein!?!?? You know what? Uske yahan aaye hue sirf ek hi ghanta hua hai… And hume already ye taane mil chuke hain ki we are not so like him….. Kya kaha Neha ne? 🤔

Ajay: (Sniffling) Cool dude! 😭

Boxer: (Nodded) yeah… We are not cool dude!

Dipika: Cool?!?!? 😆

At this Dipika couldn't stop and laughed out a little… Aryan too chuckled a little… 🤣

Ajay looked at him shocked and exclaimed…. 😲

Ajay: You too Aryan! Dipika! (Left hand on his heart and right hand on his head) Dost dost naa raha.… (Looking over at Neha talking earnestly with Francis) Pyaar pyaar naa raha…. (Sniffling)Ye zindagi hai…..

Boxer consoled Ajay and both of them went off outside giving an angry glance at the trio at Neha's place and then at Aryan and Dipika…. 😆 😡

Aryan tried to stop them but both of them shook their heads upset and trotted off…. 😳

Aryan: Ab inhe kya hua? Acting like wierdos really…. Neha aur Haseena are just talking with Francis... They know that….

Dipika looked at Aryan smiling knowingly and commented……

Dipika: Possessiveness! 😉

Aryan looked at Dipika puzzled who further explained ….

Dipika: Aryan! Men are like that…. (Aryan was about to retort back when Dipika stopped him with her hand and continued) Aisa hi hai Aryan… Ajay khud ladkiyon ke saath flirt karta hai… Tab Neha ko to of course bura lagega… Lekin vo ye bhi jaanti hai ki he is not serious about it… Ab jab Neha khud ye karti hai to thoda sa jealousy ubhar aa jaata hai bas… Ab Haseena too is doing that just to irritate Boxer and he too knows that and was just playing along to give Ajay company… Ajay Neha ko lekar possessive hai Aryan… Shayad ab issse usko bhi pata chale ki when he flirts with girls how Neha feels! 👍🏼

Aryan: Well…. Ye to sahi hai… But not all men are like that Dipika…. Aise bhi hote hain who don't feel bad about their girl friends or fiance talking to another guy….

Dipika: (Shaking her head 🤔 ) Well… Ye baat main nahi maanti… Sabhi ladke aise hi hote hain… A little possessive about their girls talking to another guy….. Especially if the girl praises that guy….

Aryan: (Waving a finger) Tchch… Nah.. Aisa nahi hai Dipika…. Not everyone is like that… Are aaj kal zamaana badal gaya hai… You cannot restrict women from talking to another guy and so…. 😊

Dipika: Tum nahi samjhoge Aryan…. Jab khud par aayegi to shayad pata hoga…. 😉

Saying Dipika looked meaningfully at Aryan who looked back wondering what Dipika meant? Before he could ask her they heard a sing song voice call out….

Francis: Hey Deeps! Back eh? 😃

Dipika rolled her eyes and was about to turn to look at Francis when she noticed Aryan's face turn a light pink… She smiled to herself at this thinking about their conversation…. Hmmm... "Not all men are like that... Hunh" So was this jealousy or anger or what?!!?!? 😉

She saw Francis standing near her grinning teeth to teeth and was holding a rose in his hands….. 😃

Bending on one knee Francis held out the rose to Dipika and said….

Francis: A rose for a rose… (Thinking) Hmm… Now who is making whom beautiful? Ooo… My police exam questions weren't so tough to answer…. 😆

Francis winked at her grinning… Dipika folded her arms and looked down at him raising her eyebrows…. 😔

Dipika: Mr.Francis Ashokraj Expedite… Maine kaha tha aapse ki mera naam Dipika Gosh hai and I prefer people calling me Dipika… Ye ni….

Francis: (Imitating her) Ye nick names vick names nahi chalega? ❓ Right… Aur aap shayad bhool gayeen ki maine bhi kaha that ki Expedite does what he likes not what others prefer…. Anyways naam ki discussion baad me, pehle ye rose to lijiye…. 😃

Dipika: Kyun? Mr.Francis aap shayad bhool rahi hain ki ye Special Squad office hai…

Francis: Deeps! (Dipika stared at him, but he continued) Ye meri aadat hai… Ki main jahan bhi jaaon wahan ke staffs ko gift doon… Aaj phool… Yahan sabhi ko di hai…

Dipika frowned at him and looked behind at Neha and Haseena who nodded smiling and showed the rose they had in their hands…. Dipika looked back at Francis still kneeling down, rose extended in his hands smiling all the while… She thought "He has been kneeling down for so long… Isn't his leg paining?" 😕

Then out of sheer humanity and not to make a scene, she took the rose….

Francis stood up and bowed saying.…. 🤗

Francis: Thank you! Lekin Deeps… Whoever is gonna propose you is gonna have a tough time… Itni der neeche kneel karvati ho…. Hai naa Aryan? ❓

Just then Dipika realized that Aryan was still there and turned to look at him…. She closely watched his face and found that he was staring at Francis with a not-so-happy expression… 😳

Aryan was really not happy with Francis's presence… 😡

He was looking at him like when he would like to get a hand at him to bash him up…. Something about his presence made him feel insecure and Aryan couldn't figure out why… ❤️ In his career he had thought that maybe Ajay was greatest flirt of all but Francis seems to have gained a masters in it… And to top it all everyone in his own office seemed to like him…. Why even Dipika was like getting along with him so well now! 😆

Seeing him not responding Francis called out again….

Francis: Aryan… Hello… What? Back to Earth guy! 😃

At this Aryan came out of his reverie and said….

Aryan: Excuse me… Mujhe kaam hai… 😡

Saying Aryan went off to his cabin giving Dipika a not-so-happy expression…

Dipika saw Aryan go and felt a little upset… 😕

She tried to go too but to find Francis in front of her…..

Smiling he said….

Francis: Well… Dipika… Main yahan naya hoon… Hai naa? Care to show me around our office? ❓

Dipika looked at him surprised a little and asked….

Dipika: Our office?!?!?

Francis: Of course…. Our office… I am going to work here from now… So isn't this our office? (Giving a wide smile)

Dipika: Oh yeah… Of course… Our office…. Lekin yahan aaye hue aapka ek ghannante se upar ho gaya hai… To ab tak to aapko is office ka ek ek kona pata hona chahiye…. I wonder! 😈

Francis: Vove… Deeps you are smart…. 😃 Of course jaana hoga… Lekin kya hai…. (Looking around) Excuse me.. Zaraa paas aayiye naa!

Dipika looked at him as if he had lost his mind and asked harshly…. 😡

Dipika: What?! Francis aap…

Francis: Offo… Deeps hamesha galat matlab se kyun dekhti ho yaar? It's a secret isliye zaraa paas aaoge to kaan me bata sakta hoon naa….

Suspicisiously looking at him Dipika turned her head and Francis came near and whispered…. 😳

Francis: Special Squad police office hai ya fashion modeling house? 😆 So many beautiful girls in beautiful attires you see…. So unse milke introduction karvane me hi time chala gaya…. 😉

Dipika jerked her head back and looked at him sternly….

Dipika: Mr.Francis… Yahan aap ek mission ke liye aaye hain… Flirt karne nahi… Mind it! Behtar hoga ki aap apne kaam se matlab rakhein… This is going out of hand… 😡

Seeing her getting angry Francis instead smiled and said…. 😊

Francis: Deeps… You can do nothing… Main yahan tumhari meherbaani se nahi hoon... I am here on a special order….. Isliye main jo chahoon jaise karoon, isme you have no rights to interfere… Nor you nor Aryan…. 👍🏼

Dipika glared at him and was about give him back when something striked her… 😲 She was so shocked at this that all her doubts became confirmed… 😛 She looked at Francis unbelievingly… 😔 She was about to talk to him when Francis's cell buzzed….

Excusing himself he went off in the direction of the pantry….

Dipika stood looking at him go and shook her head and decided to talk to him….

Neha: Really cool naa? Main samajhti thi ki Ajay is the one like this… Lekin kya hai Ajay me vo cool dude factor nahi hai… He is just good with girls that's it! 😎

Dipika turned to find Neha standing beside her looking at Francis go… She saw that Haseena was still at Neha's place working at Neha's laptop….

Dipika: (Shocked 😲 ) Neha! Kya hai ye sab? Francis irritates me so mucha.… Vo aur uska attire! Mujhe to use dekhke hi pata nahi, ghin aati hai….

Neha: Oh ho Dipika… Ye actually aaj kal ke yougsters ka style hai.... Mere flats me jo college goers hain naa, sab ladke aise hi kuch na kuch pehente hain… But I should say un sab se behtar Franc ko suit karta hai…. 😳

Dipika: (Confused) Franc?!?!?! 🤔

Neha: (Nodding) Hmmm… Francis ne kaha ki hum use Franc bula sakte hain…. (Seeing Dipika's expression) Oh come on Dipika… Bahut dinon baad mujhe mouka mila hai Ajay ko satane ke liye… Kitna mujhe irritate karta tha mere hi saamne ladkiyon se flirt karte hue… Isliye… Zaraa use apne kiye ka mazaa to chakha doon…. 😉

Dipika shook her head smiling at her plan… 😊

She turned to go into the cabin and paused a little seeing that Aryan was furiously typing in his laptop… He just glanced up once and saw Dipika… Seeing her his expression became even more harder and his typing increased….

Neha leant near Dipika's ear and said…..

Neha: Is rate me jayega to keyboard se shayad dhooyaan nikal aayega! 😆

Dipika turned to look at Neha and said in an upset tone… 😕

Dipika: Jab se Francis se mila hai Aryan is not himself… Bahut hi irritated or weird behave kar raha hai!

Neha: (Smiling)Someone seems not so happy with someone's presence…. ❤️ Talked to him? ❓

Dipika: Kahan? Subah hi Francis se mulakat hui, phir meri bandage then here….. Aryan se freely kuch baatein karne ka mouka nahi mila!

Neha: Kya!?!? Dipika! Not even a moment you got alone with him to talk… 😒

Dipika: Well a moment with him….

Dipika's voice faltered thinking of what had happened in the hospital's room… Involuntarily she blushed thinking about it… ☺️

Neha looked at Dipika's face turning pink and nudged her….

Neha: Sooooooo!!!!!!!! Baat nahi hui lekin kuch aur hua hai! Kyun????? 😆

Dipika looked at her and shook her head blushing all the while… ☺️

Just then Aryan opened the cabin door directly in Dipika's face who staggered a little back…

Aryan immediately came around and caught her at her right upper hand….

Aryan: Sorry! Vo maine dekha nahi!

Dipika looked at him and saw that he was stealing eyes from her… Wondering what it was she asked….

Dipika: Kaheen jaa rahe ho? ❓

Aryan: Nahi.. Haan… Vo Ajay, Boxer ka phone aaya tha… Seems they got a lead on our case… Waheen jaa raha hoon….

Dipika: Francis ko inform kiya? Vo…

Aryan: (Harshly) Francis has got nothing to do with Special Squad's cases… Ye humare twin murder se related hai… If anything turns up regarding the mission I'll definitely inform your Francis right? 😡

Saying Aryan left Dipika's hand a little forcefully and left the office…

Dipika winced a little at the force and saw him leave… 😵

Neha: (Shocked) Dipika! Are you alright? 😲

Dipika just nodded massaging her hand…… Neha got angry at Aryan's reaction and started to call him when Dipika stopped her…

Dipika: Its okay Neha… He's just irritated!

Neha: (Angrily) Irritated! Lekin ye kya baat hui? Didn't realize it might hurt you! Ise hua kya hai? Aryan bhi naa!

Dipika squeezed Neha's hand and smiled at her telling it was fine…

Then again her eyes set on Haseena and she went over to meet her……. 😊

Dipika: Haseena! 😛

Haseena stood up smiling and hugged Dipika, who reciprocated it happily… 🤗

Dipika: Good to see you here… Kaise ho? Your health? ❓ Medicines sab time pe le rahi ho naa? ❓ Yahan kaise aana hua ? Sab theek hai ? ❓

Haseena: (Smiling) Oh… Itne saare sawaal Dipika… Ek ek karke answer karoon to theek hai? 😆 (Dipika just took Haseena's hand smiling) I am fine… Health is absolutely fine… Medicines le rahi hoon properly… Abbas ne kaha ki Aryan ki phir se promotion hui hai to unhe congratulate karne aayi thi… Aur Vishal sir yahan cases handle kar rahe the naa, unke details lene aayi thi… We need for our reference and as his assignment proofs….

Dipika: That's fine… Waise Vishal kaisa hai? ❓ I won't ask you where he is, kyunki tum bataane waali ho nahi… Lekin mere accident ke din he was here naa… Uske baad bina kuch baat kiye hi chala gaya…. Jab vo tumhe contact kare to kehenaa I am angry with him for this....

Haseena just smiled at Dipika and said with a quizzical look….

Haseena: Ji… Most probably he'll be in contact with me today… Tab bata doongi… He'll definitely know how angry you are! 😊

Dipika: (Sighing) You know! Main usse gussa bhi nahi ho sakti… But to say the fact I miss my friend a lot….

Haseena took hold of Dipika's shoulders and said….

Haseena: He'll definitely know how much you miss him… 😉 Mujhe abhi nikalna chahiye… Mera kaam ho gaya… Maine reports le li hai…

Neha: Main bhi chalti hoon… Boxer ne kaha hai ki jab tum jaaogi to I should accompany you….

Haseena: Its okay Neha… Main khud chali jaoongi…. Yahan se office jaa rahi hoon… Shaam ko hi ghar jaoongi….

Neha: (Shaking her hands) Oh… Please… Boxer ka gussa main nahi sambhaal sakti… Vo bhai hai naa, itni jaldi gussa hote nahi… Lekin jab hote hain naa… Oooo… Naa baba naa…. And he said he would pick you up in the evening! 😆

Dipika: Haan Haseena… Neha theek keh rahi hai… You should be extra careful nowadays…

Francis aka Vishal stopped his tirade seeing the look Dipika was giving him… He let go of her hand and bit his lip for letting out his slip… 😵

Smiling Dipika pinched his cheek, pulled out the chair opposite to his and sat down… Taking a pastry from his plate she started munching it…. Then she leant forward and grabbed the newspaper which was in his place and spread it on her side of the table…. She glanced once at Vishal who was looking at her like he had swallowed something inedible… 😆

Looking down at her and smiling at his stupidity Vishal said….

Vishal: You got me didn't you? Itne saalon se disguises me raha hoon… But no one… No one has identified me! Except you! ⭐️

She just smiled up at him and went back to her paper reading….

Vishal rolled his eyes and took the paper from the table and folded it…. He was all smiles in having seeing Dipika…. In having got a chance to be himself in front of her! 😛

Dipika stood up and her left hand on her hip looked at him sternly and said…..

Dipika: Tumhari ek aahat se pehechaan sakti hoon main Vishal… 😡

Dipika: (Making a face) Sab iska nateeja hai… (Indicating her hand) Kahan se suit pehen sakti… Isliye mere paas jitney bhi professional attires hain, which I can manage with this bandage use pehen rahi hoon….

A lecture on Indian Medical Science's developmental strategy.

Journalists and medical students from all over Mumbai and near by areas had came to hear her lecture. She was one of the best doctors in Mumbai and a par excellent researcher too. No one winked an eye untill the lecture was over. 😊

Wearing a blue top on a black jeans, with curly hairs, big deep brown eyes and lovely curved lips set in a round chubby innocent looking face, tall in appearance and beautiful like angel.... She was one of the most eligible spinster in Mumbai. 😳

Aryan: (Angrily 😡 )Fine! Gaya tha... Waheen… Jahan se tumhe information mili thi… Mumbai Times newspaper office!

Dipika fought her fury and asked him…..

Dipika: Aryan is baar tum had par kar gaye…. Pehle se hi hum itni pareshaani me hain… Case ke silsile me, mission ke silsile me… And you had to go and bash up that reporter!

Francis who was standing near Dipika's table came behind her shocked about the fact that Aryan had beat a reporter up…. 😲

Aryan: (Getting angry 😡 )Media waale hain to iska matlab ye nahi ki jo chahe kuch bhi kar sakte hain…. Ek baar bhi nahi socha ki news publish karte hain to uska case ke investigation me kya asar padega….

Dipika: (Getting angry herself 😡 ) Media waale hain Aryan… All they want is a news…. That's it! Unke consequences vo kyun sochein? We are the ones who have to be careful not to leak details…..

Boxer: (In a little voice 😒 ) Isi wajah se hi police aur media waalon ki banti hi nahi… Unse darke to hum kaam nahi kar sakte! In fact unhe hum se….

Boxer stopped saying anything further seeing that Dipika was glaring at him….

Dipika: Boxer…. That's not done! This is not the way a responsible officer behaves…. (Looking at Aryan) Aryan tum samajh nahi rahe ho… Abhi promote hue ho… Ab iska kya asar ho sakta hai pata bhi hai tumhe? And again that media person is not going to stay quiet… Isko bhi chaapne waale hain…. How aggressive… 😔

Ajay: (Sarcastically intervening Dipika) Chaapke to dekhe… Use usike chaap machine me rakhke main chaap doonga use…. 😡

Dipika: (Raising her voice) Ajay… Tum log situation ko samajhne ki koshish kyun nahi karte? This is not an ordinary matter anymore….

Francis who was listening to everything standing behind Dipika said…

Francis: Haan Aryan… Ek reporter pe haath uthana, this may become serious… Aur….

Aryan: (Interrupting him) Excuse me…. Ye humara maamla hai… We are talking, so we'll manage about it!

Francis: (Trying to control his voice) Ab jab tak main yahan hoon whatever happens here is not your matter anymore Aryan Khanna… Bhulo mat Aryan… Tum logon ke activities se humare mission par bhi asar ho sakta hai… And that (Stressing) I will not allow…. 😳

Boxer: Dipika… Humari galti nahi thi… Vo bata hi nahi raha tha ki use information kaise mili… Isliye hume….

Dipika: Tumhari galti nahi thi??? Tumhari hi galti thi…. Ab use itnaa peeta hai to pata chala ki use information kaise mili?

At this Aryan, Ajay and Boxer looked at each other guiltily… Yes they did get to know how the information went out… And when they knew it they couldn't believe their ears and chided themselves for been so careless….. 😔

Ajay: Vo… Hume nahi…

Dipika: Pata chala naa…. That (Looking at each of the three pointedly) you were the reasons for that! 😲

Frowning confused Francis asked….

Francis: Dipika… What is this? Inki wajah se case details press ko kaise mili?

Dipika: (Staring at the trio again in turns) Bolo… Pooch raha hai naa… Tell him… We discussed the case details in a hotel day before yesterday night, which happens to be a public place…. And our very very good luck (Sarcastically 😈 ) just then the reporter happened to be around…. And voila we have got ourselves into trouble!

Francis: (Shocked 😲 ) What the heck? Aryan this is not done… Ye to itna simple hai ki we don't discuss cases in public Aryan, unless needed… Itne careless….

Aryan: (Getting hyper at Francis's interruption 😡 ) Excuse me… Francis mujhe rules samjhane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai… Its better you know how to behave in a office!

Hearing Aryan talk like this Dipika looked at Francis shocked and stopped him….

Dipika: Aryan! Tum keh kya rahe ho pata hai? ❓

Already in the top with anger Aryan took hold of her left arm and said….

Aryan: I don't care…. Maine jo kiya sahi kiya and I care a damn about what anyone thinks!

Dipika looked at Aryan shocked at his reaction….. At this even Ajay, Boxer and Francis started….

Dipika winced a little at Aryan's hold, but Aryan looking at Francis didn't notice this…

Even before Ajay and Boxer could control Aryan, Francis came forward and angrily pried of Aryan's hand from her arm and said….

Francis: Aryan get a hold on yourself….. Ab tumhare behaviour se kya pata chalta hai? You are becoming jungle day by day Aryan! 😡

Aryan looked at Dipika shocked himself at how he had reacted…. 😔

Dipika's anger was replaced by upsetness and Aryan noticed that her eyes glistened…. 😕

Aryan: (In a little voice 😕 ) Dipi…

Listening to nothing Dipika by passed him, Ajay and Boxer and went off from the cabin…. 😒

Aryan shook his head thinking of how he had reacted.... He chided himself for getting hyper for no reason.... Shaking his head he immediately left the cabin… 😔

He saw Neha outside but instead looked around the office and didn't find Dipika… Before Neha could ask anything Aryan went off towards the pantry…… 😒

On the way he looked into Shotgun's lab…. She wasn't there....

He went to the pantry and looked in… She wasn't there either…. He came back and hastened his pace towards the autopsy room…. 😒

Ajay and Boxer came outside and saw a very agitated Aryan go towards the autopsy room…

Aryan just passed Neha and went off.... Seeing him go Neha asked Ajay and Boxer….

Neha: Kya hua? Aryan aisa kyun behave kar raha hai? Aur Dipika... Vo bhi kuch upset si nikal gayi!

Boxer: (Looking at the autopsy room door) Aaj kuch zyada hi ho gaya Neha…. Humari galti ki wajah se Aryan aur Dipika ke beech… 😒

And he explained all that had happened inside the cabin….

All three of them watched the autopsy room and saw Aryan come out and go towards the photo lab… Boxer continued telling Neha about the happenings in the cabin…. 😔

Just as Boxer finished the three of them noticed Aryan come out looking dejected…. He leant opposite to the wall and closed his eyes hitting the wall lightly…. 😕

Ajay, Neha and Boxer felt very sad seeing Aryan's state… They hurried up to him….

Softly Neha asked…

Neha: Aryan!!!

Opening his eyes Aryan looked at Neha and asked….

Aryan: She left? ❓

Neha nodded slightly upset and said….

Neha: Tum log careful ho sakte the naa…. Tum to aaj kal bahut controlled the, to us reporter pe haath uthane ki kya zaroorat thi? ❓

Aryan straightened and with a stern face looked at Neha and said….

Aryan: Neha! (Glancing at Ajay and Boxer once too) Kal Dipika ko phir se hospital jaana pada…. And that was because she became hyper seeing that report…. (With a hard voice 😡 ) Aur main mere kisi apne ko takleef me dekhke chup nahi reh sakta….

Saying this Aryan went off from the office….

Neha looked at Ajay and Boxer smiling feebly…. 😳

Neha: Hmm.. At least is bahaane Aryan ne Dipika ko apna to kaha!

Ajay smiled at Neha and said….

Ajay: Haan… Aur ye bhi pukka hai ki kal se pehle uske aur Aryan ke beech sulah ho jayegi!

Neha nodded and said….

Neha: Hope so! (Thinking 🤔 ) Are Boxer… Haseena ne kaha vo tumhara wait karegi uske office pe… Use pick up karne ke liye…. (Looking at her watch) Lagta hai der ho rahi hai!

Boxer: (Looking at his watch in turn) Oush! Such me…. Der ho gayi.... Chalo main chalta hoon! 😊

Neha and Ajay nodded him bye….

Neha: (Smiling a little 😳 ) Tumhari kismat achchi hai!

Looking at her confused Ajay asked….

Ajay: Kya? Meri kismat hamesha phooti hi hai, ab kaise achchi bani? 🤔

Neha: Vo isliye kyunki tumhe aaj mouka mila hai mujhe ghar chodne ka!

Ajay: (Surprised)Kya? Aap hum pe itnaaaaa meherbaan kaise ho gayi aaj? 😳 Dipika ke saath nahi jaa rahi?

Neha's smile faded and she said….

Neha: Nahi… Vo mere paas aake mera purse leke chale gayi!

Ajay: Tab to theek hai… You don't have a choice… And I am glad! 😛

Rolling her eyes Neha said….

Neha: Phooti kismat sirf ek din ke liye hi bani hai achchi and Dipika didn't leave me any choice… Ab chalein? Der ho rahi hai… Mujhe ghar jaake dinner arrange karni hai… Warna Dipika khud khaana bana legi, us haath se…. Ab chalo bhi!

Saying Neha dragged Ajay out of the office….

Seeing them all go, Francis folded his arms and said in a disapproving tone…. 😒

Francis: Aryan samajh nahi raha hai ki vo jis apne ki chot ka revenge leke aaya hai, us apne ko koi aur nahi wahi khud chot pahooncha raha hai… Aur Aryan main tumhe bhi use chot pahoonchane nahi doonga…. 😳 😡

Shaking his head Francis too left the office!

Neha entered the house urgently and heard a sizzling sound from the kitchen. Hurrying into the kitchen she saw Dipika near the stove, sauting something. 😊

Sighing she went to Dipika and chided her…. 😳

Neha: Offo… Mere liye wait nahi kar sakti thi… I told you I'll come with you but you refused….

Turning from the stove Dipika smiled feebly and said….

Dipika: Its okay Neha…. I have been alone and am using to it.... So what's special today?❓

Neha felt sad at this and going up to Dipika said…. 😕

Neha: Dipika! Kya stupid si baat kar rahi ho? Tum jaante ho ki Aryan was frustrated today about the case and the mission... Aur pata nahi kyun but I feel that he is getting more irritated about Francis's presence too….

Dipika just smiled at this…. She said….

Dipika: The rice is done…. Stove me daal rakha hai… Ho jaye to switch off kar dena… And put this saute in it..... I'll…

Nodding Neha said…

Neha: Go and rest! Main dekh loongi… I'll call you for dinner…

Dipika smiled and went to her room…

She went to the bed and opening the nearby drawer took out a photo frame… Setting the pillow on the bed's head rest, she leant on it… Leaning back on the pillow she smoothed her hand over the image and smiled fondly, eyes glistening… 😭

Clutching the photograph to her chest she thought….

"Kyun aaye the tum meri zindagi me Aryan? Or should I say why did I come in to your life… Neither you are happy nor me… Tum chahate kya ho? You changed in the past days… And I felt it was your change for me… But why do you have to change for me, when you?!?!? Sometimes I felt you come near me.... But then again you distanced yourself from me… Use bhi maine accept ki…. I left everything for your choice… Because I cannot see you in pain, neither physically nor mentally and definitely not by heart…. Jab kabhi tum apna gussa mujhpe nikaalte the, I felt that you did that because you had right over me…. With the same right I thought you would listen to me to get a grip on yourself…. But then again you have someone else in your mind…. 🥺(Looking at the photo 😳 ) I thought my life is going to change with you… But I guess my life has been decided six years earlier itself….." 😳

Dipika closed her eyes and a tear started slide down her cheeks, but her hand went up immediately and stopped it thinking "I cannot do anything for you Aryan, but I have promised my friend and that at least Dipika would be able to do!" 😳


At the same time Aryan at his home, leaning back on the pillow was thinking "Tum mujhe samajh kyun nahi rahi ho Dipika? I couldn't see you in pain… (Fuming 😡 ) Aur jo koi bhi tumhe dard dene ki koshish karta hai, I definitely will not leave him… I couldn't save them (thinking about Niharika and Pallavi 😭 ) nor could I avenge their deaths… But for you I am ready to even give my life…. I am sorry Dipika, main jitna tumse door jaane ki koshish
karta hoon main utna tumhare paas aata hoon… But I definitely don't want to lose you too… For which I can't even say I love you!" 💔

He closed his eyes and for the first time ever a tear ran down Aryan's cheeks! 😭


Neha entered the room calling Dipika…. Seeing that she was leaning back eyes closed she went up to her….. She noticed that Dipika had slept eventually… She thought of waking her up, but decided against it because after today's incident it was a wonder Dipika was even sleeping….. 😕

She then noticed the photo Dipika was clutching…. 😊

Smiling lightly she took the frame out slowly and looked at it… A smile spread on her face… Placing it on the bedside table she covered Dipika with the bed sheet and left the room switching off the light! 😳
