Seeing Neha look thoughtful again Dipika asked….. 🤔

Dipika: Kuch aur poochna hai? ❓

Neha: (Hesistantly) Vo… Er… Haan… Baar baar pooch rahi hoon isliye….

Dipika understood what Neha wanted to talk about this time and turned back to watch the television….

She was not the type to watch television…. First of all she didn't have time for it…. And secondly she was not much interested in it…. Even though now she was watching the television, she was actually just looking at it…..

Dipika: Neha…. Phir se wahi baat! Not again!

Neha: Of course…. Confusion me rehene se behetar hai ki khul ke baat kar hi lo…. You said to me how Aryan behaved with you in the morning… Isi se pata nahi chalta ki he cares for you, more than before….

Dipika frowned a little and said…. 😕

Dipika: I know… He has been very caring and protective about me lately…. Baat to sab theek hai Neha…. Lekin phir bhi mujhe kyun lagta hai ki vo….

Neha: (Immediately) Galat faimi… Pure misunderstanding…. Nothing else…. 😳

Thoughtful Dipika turned to look at Neha and bit her lips…. 🤔

Neha felt happy that Dipika was at least thinking about what she said…. Before she used to flatly cut off talking about he matter…. 😛

She moved closer to her and placing her hands on her shoulders said softly….

Neha: Dipika… Aryan ko hurt na karne ki tumhari soch bahut achchi hai… Its so nice of you… But don't you feel you hurting him more now been gloomy and away from him….. Aaj office me bhi tum aisi hi thi….. Sabke saath!

Dipika: Neha vo isliye kyun ki I was upset about the article…. That's all… (Softly) Such bataoon, to tum logon se gussa hoke main karoongi kya? In Mumbai you are all the one's I know and have…

Hearing this coming from Dipika, Neha felt very happy and gave her a hug… Dipika gratefully hugged her back and smiled genuinely… 🤗

Parting from Dipika Neha said....

Neha: Phir baat to karo...

Dipika: (Not convinced)Agar galat hua to?

Neha: Kuch galat nahi hoga.... Aryan ko to tum jaanti hi ho.... Jaan to lein ki what is he thinking... Uske ye changes hum me se kisi bhi samajh nahi aa rahi... At least uske baare me to baat kar sakte ho...

Dipika: (Taking a deep breath) I... I don't know Neha....

Squeezing her left hand....

Neha: Trust me... Everything is going to be fine... Just talk!

Thinking about what Neha had just said to her Dipika looked back at the television absent mindedly... In the television a woman was serving food to her husband who was teasing her... Seeing the couple Dipika asked...

Dipika: Neha main tumse kuch poochon?

Looking at Dipika smiling at her asking the same question she said...

Neha: Ab tumhe mujhse kuch poochne se pehle tumhe permission leni ki kab se zaroorat padne lagi?

Dipika looked at Neha smiling and said....

Dipika: Meri billi mujhi se meow?!?!

Grinning Neha just shrugged her shoulders and Dipika smiled back.... Looking back at the television and back at Neha Dipika asked....

Dipika: Niharika kaisi thi? ❓

Neha's grin faded and she looked stunned at Dipika asking this question.... 😲

She just said....

Neha:Niharika!?!?!?

Dipika just looked on at her waiting for her to respond.... 😳

Neha looked at Dipika stunned hearing such a request…. She wondered why Dipika wanted to know about Niharika now! 😔

To make sure she had heard correct Neha mouthed….

Neha: Niharika! Dipika? 😒

Dipika understood Neha's reaction.... She switched off the television and turned her full attention to Neha....

Dipika: Haan Neha… Niharika! Tum log to aath saal se zyada Aryan ke saath ho… To uske shaadi se pehle se hi use jaante honge…. Isliye main jaanana chahathi hoon ki tab Aryan kaisa tha.... Niharika kaisi thi.... Main us Aryan ke baare me jaanana chahathi hoon jo us haatse ke baad kho gaya hai... Because I am sure the original Aryan is not like this..... Ab jo hai vo crimes se obsessed, apni zindagi ke matlab ko jaane bina jeene waala hai!

Neha listened to all Dipika said and nodded sadly….

Neha: You are right Dipika…. Aryan aisa nahi tha…. Special Squad ke form hone ke baad, Aryan was the second Chief In Charge…. Fresh form Special Squad college he was posted as assistant Investigating officer…. And seeing his sincerity and dedication got promoted very soon as Chief…. Exactly ten years ago… Uske Chief hone ke baad we all got in…. Shaina first…. Ajay, Phir Boxer…. Phir main…. Zubin aur Shotgun were appointed before him…. Since then we have been a team…. Always!

Dipika: (Smiling) I know…. Tab Shaina ki shaadi ho chuki thi… It was only one year naa? (Neha nodded)

Neha: Haan…. Tab se lekar time kaise guzara pata hi nahi chala…. Aath saal pehle Aryan ki shaadi Niharika ke saath hui… Arranged marriage tha…. But you know what, aisa kabhi nahi lagta tha… Aryan and Niharika were like….

Neha stopped at this not knowing how far she wanted to continue…. Because anything she said might have an impact on Dipika…. Good, then it was alright… If bad, it would be worse…. 😒

Sensing her hesitation Dipika said….

Dipika: Made for each other…. Hai naa? 😳 Neha please…. Koi bhi baat kehne se hickhichao mat…. Kuch bhi mat chupao ye soch kar ki I may become upset… Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai… I want to know… And know it all!And when it is related to Aryan, I am ready to accept it as it is!

Neha smiled again indicating her hesitation was gone and then said……

Neha: Niharika bahut hi sweet thi…. Tum yakeen nahi karoge Dipika…. But Aryan used to talk a lot…. Bahut bolta tha vo… Aur Niharika bilkul opposite…. Very silent…. Shy nahi thi…. Bas bolti kam thi… Hum log weekends pe kabhi kabhi saath saath ghoomne jaaya karte the….. Aur khaana kya lazeez ka banati thi pata hai? 😊 (Giggling) Shaadi ke baad to Aryan used to bring lunch from home….

Dipika widened her eyes at this and smiled…. Seeing her smile, Neha felt assured and continued….

Neha: Ek din naa… Niharika ne vegetable biriyani banake bhejhi thi…. Aur us din hum logon ne pehli baar Niharika ka lunch taste kiya.... Wah wah.... Us din Aryan ke liye lunch hi nahi mila.... Aur tab se roz hum log hi Aryan ke lunch ko khatam karte the.... Aryan to bahar se mangvake khata tha.... 😆 Tab ye Niharika ko pata nahi tha.... Lekin bahut dinon baad jab use pata chala, to hume kya kya nahi sunana pada.... Maa.... She was really angry that we ate her husband's lunch without giving him even a morsel! 😡 Aryan par bhi gussa thi ki he allowed us to finish his lunch…. We all felt bad that day and vowed to her that we wouldn't touch Aryan's food from that day… Lekin pata hai kya hua? Tab se jab koi special lunch hota to Niharika do lunch boxes bhejh deti thi... So sweet naa? 😛

Dipika smiled more and nodded... She had to agree that Niharika and Aryan were closer to each other than anyone could realize….

Neha: (Continuing) Aur jab Niharika pregnant thi to Aryan's happiness knew no bounds… It was a celebration even in Special Squad… Sab ko treat di Aryan ne… Every staff….. Pehle hi he used to come to office at nine and leave home max on seven…. Jab Niharika conceived thi to evening six and Aryan would be in his car, straight home….. Aur Pallavi ke paida hone ke baad to Aryan was the happiest man in the world… She was what they call Apple of her father's eyes! Pallavi Niharika par gayi thi…. Kam bolti thi, lekin sabse easily movable thi…. Sweet and cute baby…

Dipika: (Sadly) Neha ab Pallavi ki age…. Sade paanch... Cheh honge naa….

Neha: Haan… Around six…

Hearing it Dipika thought for a long time…. Six years??!!?!? That means… She wondered about it and was feeling a strange premonition..... She smiled thinking of it…. That was wonderful! 😳

Just then Dipika's cell buzzed and she saw the number….

Dipika: Maa! 😛

Dipika attended the call…. Neha heard only Dipika's side of the conversation….

Dipika: Theek hoon… Medicines di hai….

Dipika: Are haan… Kal hi milna tha, lekin is chakkar me bhool gayi....

Dipika: Haan... Hmm... Kal nahi ho sakta.... Main unse weekend pe milti hoon....

Dipika: Theek hai... Bata doongi... Aap kaisi hain? School, bachche, bachchi... Sab? ❓

Dipika laughed a little and said......

Dipika: Maa.... Wait to kijiye ki main ghar ki interiors kaise karti hoon... Everyone one is going to like it... Even....

Dipika: (Chuckling) Haan.... Yaad rakhoongi... Okay bye! 😃

Dipika cut the phone and looked at Neha who was looking at her quesitiongly..... Immediately realizing something Neha said....

Neha: Sorry.... I shouldn't have stayed here... Phone aate hi... 😕

Dipika smiled and interrupted her.....

Dipika: Oh come on Neha.... Private baatein kuch nahi thi.... Bas... Ghar ka maamla hai!

Neha: Ghar?!?!? (Enthusiastically)You mean you are settling here? 😛

Dipika: Of course Neha...... Mera job yahan hai.... Kaheen transfer milne se rahi, kyunki after six years I have got transfer from Pune to Mumbai.... Aur tumhe to pata hai ki mera flat rented hai.... Mother wants to buy a house here in Mumbai...

Neha: Hey that's great! Matlab tum sab yahan rahoge? ❓

Dipika: Well... Ab uska kuch tay nahi hua hai.... Dekhna hai.... There are many things to take into consideration naa.... Ghar ke silsile me kal real estate agent se milna tha.... But I couldn't.... Should call him and meet him this weekend...

Neha: Awesome! Hmm... Mumbai me settle hone ki taiyaari ho rahi hai.... (Tilting her head 😉 ) Achcha shagun?!!?? Yaaaaaaaaaa...... (Grinning) 😃

Shaking her head Dipika smiled mysteriously.... 😉

Dipika: Good night Neha!

Dipika got up and went to her bedroom.... Neha tried to get an answer and followed her half way, and extending her hand....

Neha: Are batati to jao!

Dipika had reached her room.... She went in.... Then again catching the door frame she bent backwards and looking at Neha part way upside down, said....

Dipika: Shayad achcha shagun! (Winking)☺️

Dipika disappeared into her room and closed the door....

Unbelieving at what she had heard Neha whooped in the air and inhaled deeply, relieved.... 😍

Singing she switched off the lights and fan and went to her room....

Neha:Kabhi kabhi mere dil meeeeeeeeeee khayal aata hai..... Offo advertisement ka asar hai! Hmph...

She closed her room door! 😆

Wearing her earring Neha came out of her room calling….

Neha: Oh sorry late ho gayi... Dipika main ready hoon.... 😔

Seeing the hall empty Neha stopped and looked around…. She went to the kitchen to check if she was there…. Not finding her there she went to her room…. The room door was closed…..

Neha knocked a little and called out….

Neha: Dipika.... Are you there? ❓

From inside…..

Dipika: Yeah coming....

Seconds later the room door opened and Dipika stood there, her left hand on her hip…. She looked frustrated….. 😡

Seeing her still in her bathrobe Neha asked surprised….

Neha: You are not ready! Main soch rahi thi, mujhe daant milne waali hai….. 😲

Dipika: Aur main khud ko daant rahi hoon ki kahan jaake haath thuvadi….

Saying Dipika went inside and sat down on the bed, hands under her chin…. Not understanding why Dipika sounded so irritated Neha went in… She stopped looking around and asked….

Neha: Ye sab kapde bhikare hain! 😲 Tumhare kamre me? Oo… Shayad aaj hume umbrella le jaana padega…. Baarish ho sakti hai! (Grinning 😃 )

Dipika: (making a face) Very funny! 😡

Seeing her genuinely frustrated Neha sat beside her and asked concerned…….

Neha: Kya hua? Kya baat hai? 🤔

Dipika: Neha tumhe to pata hai ki main office ko suit pehenke hi jaati hoon.... Haath ki wajah se I have to be very careful about my dressing…. Suit ya jean to nahi pehen sakti…. Ab maine kabhi koi aur kapde nahi pehene hai… I feel so awkward…. Kal kapde select karne me hi mujhe mushkil hui…..

Neha: Bas yahi baat hai....


Dipika: Yahi baat hai?!?!? You are confortable in whatever you wear to office... But I like waearing only suits....

Dipika had to admit that today Neha looked ravishing in that outfit....... She also felt that she was confortable wearing them because she was used to wearing them.....



Neha: (Smiling consolingly) I understand.... Dipika parson maine kaha tha, that you have a wonderful assortment of clothing…. Of course office ke liye suit me hi aati ho… Lekin ye rule to nahi hai naa… (Seeing her expression) Haan…. Tumhara rule hai… Lekin when you are not able to follow it, thoda bend to kar sakti ho…. Ab haath theek hone tak hi naa….

Dipika: Wahi to.... I don't know what to wear? I want to look professional wearing them…. But I don't find anything like that!

Laughing Neha stood up and scanned the bed….

Neha: Vo isliye kyunki you don't have the practice of wearing any thing other than suit to office…. Chalo I'll select something, which will look good and professional….

Dipika burrowed her eyebrows as Neha went about choosing clothes from the bed and the wardrobe trying various combinations….

After five minutes…..

Neha: (Murmured) Aisa kya select karoon ki Aryan will be stunned.....

Dipika thought she heard Neha murmur something…..

Dipika: (Frowning) Kya kaha tumne?

Neha turned from the grinning sheepishly and said….

Neha: Nahi to... Maine kuch nahi kaha... Bas yoheen.... (Seeing Dipika look at her suspiciously 😳 she said immediately) Lo ye kaise laga…….

Dipika went over to it and looked up and down and exclaimed…..

Dipika: You expect me to wear this to office?!!?! No way! 😲

Shaking her head Dipika said firmly….. Neha rolled her eyes and said…. 😔

Neha: Oh you are not going to wear this alone..... There this jacket will suit it... Short sleeved hai to haath ko affect nahi karega....

Neha said pointing out the jacket in her other hand.....

Dipika: (Doubtful) But still... This is professional?!??!?

Neha: Awww.... Dipika this is a professional dress..... Foreign me aise hi to pehente hain…. You'll look good and not awkward…. Its really good I say….

Dipika: No way... I am not wearing this….. Not to office… Not at all!

Neha: Dipika don't be a spoil sport... Ek din pehenke to dekho… It will look good… Tumhara kaam office me hai to this will be comfortable for you!

Dipika: Chanceless! Main... I'll select something else…. 😕

Saying Dipika started to scan her wardrobe again….
Neha stood behind her thinking of a way to convince her…. Then getting an idea…. 😉

Neha: Ab dekhna… Tumhare paas jo bhi tha usme se maine select kiya hai…. Pehenana hai to peheno… But I would like to remind you that we are getting late for office and you have a meeting at ten, at the Commissioner's office!

Dipika looked behind at Neha who just shrugged off and placing the dress on the bed started to leave the room…. 🤔

Looking doubtfully at the dress and then at the clock, Dipika called out…. 😵

Dipika: Oh Alright.... Alright... Pehenti hoon…. Isiliye kaha tha ki pata nahi kis muhurat me haath dudvaake aayi….

Coming back into the room Neha took the dress and smiling said…..

Neha: Date aur time batana... Kisi astrologer se poochte hain!

Neha winked…. 😉

Rolling her eyes Dipika looked at Neha still not liking the idea of wearing such a dress to office !

Helping Dipika wear the dress Neha commented....

Neha: Ooo.... We'll be the black girls today! 😆

Dipika looked at her and smiled shaking her head!

On the way to Special Squad office in taxi, Dipika was saying….

Dipika: Mujhe ab bhi lagta hai ki it was unnecessary….. 😒

Neha: Ab bas bhi karo Dipika…. Jab se office ke liye nikale hain tab se ye rat laga rakhi hai…. Dekho jab tumhara mere saath rehene ka plan bana, tab tum office jaane waale thi nahi…. To kal Ajay aaya…. Ab jab tumne thaan hi liya hai ki is state me bhi office aaogi, to hum dono saath hi nikalenge naa… Isliye Ajay ko maine kal hi mana kar diya ki jab tak tum mere saath rahogi, tab tak vo naa aaye….. (She murmured to herself) Ab Aryan se dosage khaane ki mujhe shouk nahi… Anyways I seem to be getting a lot of doses from him nowadays… 😉 😆

Dipika who had just turned her head towards the window turned back to look at Neha, because she thought she had heard Aryan's name….

Dipika: Tumne kuch kaha? ❓

Neha: (Grinning again sheepishly) Nai… Nai to… Bas yoheen! 😆

Dipika: Nai… Maine shayad Aryan ka naam suna isliye?!?!? 😳

Neha: (Teasingly) Ah…. Main kya kahoon…. Pyaar me aisa hota hai…. Jahan bhi dekho, kaheen bhi dekho vo nazar aate hain… Unka naam sunayi deta hai…. Iska matlab ye nahi ki maine kuch kaha! 😉

Dipika hit Neha lightly on her arms and said….

Dipika: Neha apne harkaton se baaz to aao… Oof!

Neha shook her head denying and winked…. 😉

The taxi braked halt in front of the office…. Dipika and Neha got out….

Dipika bent down to give the taxi fare…. After the taxi left, she and Neha turned to go inside the office gate but stopped seeing all the activities going on….

Loads of bouquets were been unloaded from a truck and taken into the office…. Dipika and Neha looked at each other surprised…. 😔

They approached the watchman at the entrance and asked…..

Neha: Watchman… Ye kya ho raha hai? Itne saare phool? Kisne order kiye? ❓

Watchman: Good morning madam ji! Hume nahi pata…. Bas office se intercom me bataya gaya ki jab phool aaye to use andar laane ka intezaam ho…. Bas!

Dipika: Waise check to kar rahe ho naa sab bouquets ko? ❓

Watchman: Ji madam… Haan… Vo dekhiye entrance me do aadmi sab kuch check kar rahe hain…

Dipika looked at the door entrance to the office and felt assured….

Neha: Lekin itneeeeeeeee saare phool humare office me!?!?? (Smiling) Kaheen koi kisi ko patina charaha hai kya? 😛 😉

Dipika widened her eyes and looked at Neha….. Then rolling her eyes in mock frustration said………

Dipika: Isssssssss…… Nehaaaaa…. Bas… Ab chalo… Ye itne saare bouquets kyun aaye ye andar jaake hi pata chalega….

Neha nodded grinning and she and Dipika went inside the office……. 😃

Dipika and Neha entered the office to find all tables decorated with two bouquets each….. Everyone were arranging bouquets in their tables, talking to their neighbors happily…. 😛

Neha and Dipika looked at each astonished as to what the happy occasion was about… 🤔

Just then they heard Zubin in the center of the office ordering someone…..

Zubin: Is table pe phool abhi tak nahi aaye?

Dipika and Neha went further into the office and saw him smartly decked in the attire holding a bouquet…..




The man near the table said….

Man: Sir orders me phool deke aa rahe hain…. To mera table next hai… Aata hi hoga….

Zubin: Tab to theek hai… Lekin jaldi Aryan aane ka samay ho gaya…. (Hitting his forehead ) Are baap re! Ajay mujhe maar hi daalega… Is bouquet ko to khud Aryan ke table me rakhna hai!

Saying he started to hurry to Aryan's cabin…. Neha hurried up to him before he could enter the cabin and stopped him…. Dipika followed suit smiling….

Neha: Are Zubin ruko…. Ye kya ho raha hai sab kuch? Itne phool? Sab Aryan ke liye?! Lekin kyun? ❓

Zubin stopped on Neha's call… Just as he was about to answer her his eyes fell on Dipika the next instant and he stopped short of goggling… 🤪

Seeing him not responding Neha shook him….

Neha: Zubin main tumse kuch pooch rahi hoon! 😡

Coming out of his reverie Zubin stuttered….

Zubin: O… Neha vo…. Are tumhe nahi pata! Aryan phir se…. 😆

Just then from the pantry door Ajay shouted…..

Ajay: Zubin vo bouquet Aryan ke table pe abhi tak nahi pahooncha? Tum… 😡

(Now of course ignore the face and that hairstyle... Ajay will look as like always wayward in it😆)

Before Ajay could reach over to Zubin to spank him on his head Zubin disappeared into the cabin…. 😉

Ajay came hopping towards them and smiling looked all at Neha and then at Dipika… He blinked few times and tried to compose himself….

Neha: Ajay… Kya baat hai? Ye phool?!? ❓

Instead of answering Neha Ajay looked at her and raised her eyebrows at Dipika and silently questioned her….

Dipika understood Ajay's reaction and felt embarrassed… She scolded herself for wearing the dress to office….☺️

Neha shaking her head angrily, irritated at not knowing the reason Neha asked Ajay a little louder…. 😡

Neha: Ajay tum to batao, ki kya baat hai?

But instead of answering her question Ajay just hugged Neha exclaiming happily…. 🤗 😛

Dipika smiled and looked down….. While Neha was surprised and tried to hide her embarrassment…. 😳

Ajay: Hey Neha! Everything is back to normal here!

Neha: Ajay kya kar rahe ho? 😲

Saying she pushed him off and looked at him angrily…. 😡

Ajay looked at her grinning but apologized….. 😃

Ajay: Oh sorry…. Main itna khush hoon ki bata nahi sakta!

Neha: Haan ye to pata chal raha hai… Lekin kis liye? 😕

Ajay: Aaj subah ki pehli fax se news hai Neha…. Aryan is promoted back as Chief of Special Squad!

Neha: Kya? That's really a great news! 😛

Exclaiming happily this time Neha hugged Ajay who looked like a kid whose birthday had come early….. 🤗 🥳

Realizing her state Neha parted away from him and looked happily at Dipika….. 😳

Dipika was just standing beside them smiling…..

Neha: That's really a great news, isn't it Dipika? 😊

Dipika nodded and said….

Dipika: Very! Aryan deserves all what he is getting!

Saying Dipika went off to her cabin…. Neha looked at her go and started walking to her place thinking… Then she said aloud…

Neha: Shayad hum kuch zyada hi celebrate kar rahe hain!

Ajay looked at Neha like she had gone insane and said….

Ajay: Neha ye tum kya keh rahi ho? Are Aryan is promoted back and everything is becoming normal here, its really a matter of happiness yaar!

Neha: (Looking at him) Haan Ajay Aryan phir se promote ho gaya, ye khushi ki hi baat hai… Lekin iska matlab Dipika….

Putting an arm around Neha Ajay said consolingly….

Ajay: Neha… Aryan ko kuch bhi bura hota tha ya achcha, pehle sirf hum sab uske ke liye feel karte the…. Ab… Uske saath jo kuch bhi hota hai, to uska pehla asar Dipika par hoga…. So she will only feel happy about it and not upset about her…. 👍🏼

Looking back into the cabin Neha smiled feebly and said….

Neha: Hmm… I guess you right! 😊

Ajay: Oh ho… Ajay Desai is always right!

Neha: (Rolling her eyes upwards 😔 ) Mera kya zamaana aa gaya hai ki main tumhari baton ko accept karne lagi…. 😆

Ajay looked her in mock anger…😲 😡

Before Ajay could retort back Neha and Ajay heard…..

"Mujhe ab abhi lagta hai ki you are wrong! Are is tarah akele??!!?"

"Are Abbas kab se yahi bolte jaa rahe hain? Aapne mujhe phone karke bataya to main bhi chali aayi Aryan ko badhayi dene…."

Ajay and Neha turned to see Boxer and Haseena coming out from the pantry bickering with each other….

Boxer was looking smarter than ever in his bomber short jacket and Haseena was looking gorgeous in that saree....






Neha was happy to see Haseena after a long time of weeks….

Seeing they were fighting about something she looked at Ajay and rose her eyebrows…. 😳

Sighing Ajay said….

Ajay: Actually Neha, mujhe subah aath baje hi Madhu ne phone karke fax ke baare me bataya…. Tab maine Boxer ko phone kiya aur ye saare arrangements ki….

Neha: (Shocked 😲 ) Kya? Itni subah hi pata chali to mujhe phone karke kyun nahi kaha Ajay? 😡

Ajay: Are Neha… Batane ka time hi nahi mila is arrangements me... Tumhe phone karna chaha to tha, lekin socha Dipika hai to disturb kyun karoon…. Office aake hi pata chale….

Neha: Haan… Magar… (Seeing that Boxer and Haseena were still arguing) Theek hai chodo…. Ab in dono ko kya hua? ❓

Ajay: (Grinning 😃 ) Oh ye… Boxer ne phone karke Haseena ko bataya tha…. To vo seedha yahan chali aayi Aryan ko congratulate karne…. Ab maamla ye hai ki…. Neha chuckled at this and looked at them come towards them…. She went to Haseena and hugged her….

Neha: Kitne din hue milke… Kaisi ho? Aur chote ustaad kaise hain? Ya choti pari?! 😍

Haseena blushed and said….

Haseena: Achchi hoon… Ustaad ho ya Pari healthy hain kaafi hai… Aur ab vo bhi achche hain…. 😳

Neha winked at her and smiled…. Just then Shotgun came and joined them....

(Of course no tie with the vest😊)

He said.....

Shotgun: Aryan aa gaya! 😛

All heads immediately turned towards the door and saw Aryan, smart as ever enter the office….



Immediately there were claps all around the office…. Deafened by the sound for a minute Aryan stood stunned at the door….

The whole team rushed forward congratulating him….🤗

There were hugs and shaking hands and all…. Aryan tried his best to protest and stop the activities…. But literally after five minutes when the rush started to slow down, Aryan had space to breath….

Aryan: (Sighing) Phew!!! Tum log! Kya baat hai? Kis baat ki badhayi? ❓

Neha who was holding Aryan arms was about to respond when a delivery boy came to the door and said….

Boy: Excuse me!

The rest of the staffs dispersed and only the team were now with Aryan….

Aryan turned to him and saw that he was holding a bouquet and a card in his hand….

Aryan: Haan… Kya baat hai? ❓

Boy: Ji ye delivery Aryan Khanna ke liye hai!

Aryan: Kisne bhejha hai? ❓

Boy: Ji sir hume nahi pata…. Bas order delivery karne ko kaha gaya hai hume!

Aryan nodded and took the bouquet… He saw that it was beautiful with……
Boy: Sir sign?! ❓

Aryan nodded and took the receipt from him and signed… Just as he was signing the receipt he saw that the amount was paid in cash… He returned the receipt and started to turn back to his team when he found something strange….

Aryan: Suno…

The boy had reached the door and stopped at the call…. Aryan handed over the bouquet to Neha and went over to him….

Aryan: Zaraa vo receipt dikhana!

The boy nodded and handed over the receipt to him… Aryan scanned the receipt and saw that the bouquet was ordered yesterday at 4.23 p.m…… He frowned thinking "Who had ordered this bouquet yesterday for delivery today and what was the occassion?"…. 🤔

Then he gave back the receipt… The boy left….

Aryan came back to his team… That was when he noticed all the bouquets and flowers on all the tables….. Then he remembered that he was asking them the reason for the congratulations….

Aryan: Main pooch raha tha ki ye sab phool kyun? ❓

Hugging him sideways…..

Neha: Aur hum bata rahe the…..

Neha indicated to the others and together they shouted…..

"Welcome Chief"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👏

Aryan looked at them all in turns in surprise….

Aryan: Kya? You mean! 😊

Boxer: Offo…. Aryan… We mean what we mean…. Tumhe phir se promote kiya gaya hai….. Congratulations!

Boxer hugged him again….

Aryan: (Smiling) Oh…. Thanks Boxer….

Haseena: Congratulations Aryan!

Aryan: Oh Haseena…. Tum bhi aayi ho! Thanks…. Is hungame me maine dekha hi nahi….

Haseena: Koi baat nahi….

Aryan: Kaisi ho? Phone karke bata sakti thi…. You needed have strained!

Getting a chance Boxer started…..

Boxer: Ha… Main bhi ise yahi bata raha tha… Is halat me… 😕

But seeing Haseena stare at him Boxer shut his mouth…. 😉

The whole team laughed at the joru ka gulaam, Great Boxer bhai been shut up by his wife that too with just one look…. 😆

Haseena: Jab mujhe subah pata chala to I thought of it as a good reason to come here…. Tumhe congratulate bhi karti aur tum sab se mil bhi leti…. Two in one!

Aryan: (Frowning) Subah? Tum logon ko aaj subah pata chala?!? Kal nahi? Lekin is bouquet to kisi ne kal order kiya tha!

Neha: Kal Aryan? Mujhe aur Dipika ko to aaj subah hi pata chala office aane ke baad… Baaki logon ko to aath baje se pehle pata chal gaya…. Fax aaya tha!

Aryan: Kya? Dipika aayi hai? Neha maine kaha ki…. 😳

Neha: (Intervening immediately) Dekho Aryan… Maine bahut samjhaya… Vo nahi maani…. Aur ussse par roub jamana mera haq nahi banta…. Aur vo meri kahan maanti hai…. She was adamant that she will come to office….

Aryan: Tum logon ko ek kaam bolo to kuch bhi theek se nahi hota…. Phir se kehti.... Maine kal kaha naa to make her rest at home... Aur….

Neha: (Getting irritated now 😡 ) Dekho Aryan… Tumhare aur Dipika ke beech mujhe mat laao… Tum kuch kehte ho, vo kuch kehti hai…. Aur beech me mere bhejha khaya jaa raha hai... Kuch bhi kehenaa hai to khud tum dono baat kar lo…. Kya mere maathe par "Neha courier service" likha hai? 😆

Aryan smiled at this… Then hugging her said….

Aryan: Okay baba… Sorry! Main abhi aata hoon….

Saying Aryan was about to go, when Ajay's voice stopped him….

Ajay: Ye bouquet kisne bhejha?!?! 🤔

Ajay took the bouquet and looked at closely…. He saw the card in it and took it out….

Ajay: Are humne to sirf bouquets order kiye the, no cards…. To phir ye kisne bhejha? Hmm… Ruko is card ke padenge to pata chalega…..

Pinching him on his arm Neha said….. 😵

Neha: Card Aryan ke liye aaya hai Ajay… Tum kaise?

Ajay ouched and rubbed his arm….. Then making a face at Neha he gave the bouquet and card to Aryan and said…..

Ajay: Lo Aryan…. Tumhara bouquet…. Tumhara card….. Khud padna… Neha courier servie ki maalkin ko achcha nahi lag raha ki main doosron ke card padoon…. 😉

Neha stared at Ajay while Aryan smiling took the bouquet and card and read it a little aloud….

It said short and sweet…

"So now it's come true, just as you told us,
The world at your feet, the stars round your shoulders!"

As Aryan finished reading it Neha said….

Neha: Wow…. Tumhare Chief banana ki khushi hum sab se zyada kisi aur ko hai… Wonder whooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!! 😉 😳

As Neha dragged the last word, her words reverberated in Aryan's mind…. He looked at his cabin and smiling knowingly started towards it….

The team looked at each and nodded grinning…. 😃

They all decided to go to the pantry to talk a while until Aryan could give them further instructions on the case….. 😛

Aryan entered the cabin and found Dipika seated in her usual place…. She was going through a report on drug activities…. She looked up as Aryan entered the cabin…

Smiling feebly she said….

Dipika: Congratulations Aryan! 😊

Aryan placed the bouquet in front of her…. Leaning his hands in the table he said….

Aryan: Thank you! Aur I have a strong belief in thinking that you may be the reason behind this!

Dipika who was looking at Aryan curiously looked down and said….

Dipika: Main?!?! Maine kya kiya? Tumhe aisa lagta hoga Aryan… Your gut feel!!! Kabhi kabhi....

Aryan rounded the table and came to the other side…. He twisted the chair to make Dipika face her… Leaning his hands on the chair arms came close to her face and said…. 😍

Aryan: Mera gut feel hamesha sahi hota hai Dipika! 😉 Aur mujhe lagta nahi! Yakeen hai ki kal tumne humare bahar aane ke baad wapas Commissioner se isi baare me milne gayi thi….

Dipika looked at him so close to her…. Averting her eyes between his eyes she said….

Dipika: Purse lene gayi thi Aryan…. Mere batane se thodi Commissioner manane waale hain!

Aryan: (Smiling) Maanenge… Dipika maanenge... Tumhare liye das minute kaafi hai kisi ko kisi baat ke liye manana…. And you don't know to lie!

Dipika again looked at Aryan and smiled back the same smile he was sporting…. A one which was challenging from both sides…. 👍🏼

Dipika: Maybe! 😉 Aur Aryan is tarah agar tum khade rahoge aur main baithi rahi to hum Commissioner's office meeting ko miss kar denge! 😳

Then realizing his state Aryan straightened and looked down at her…

Aryan: As always you are right! And that wordings were very encouraging.... Thanks again! So shall we? ❓

He said extending his hand…. Dipika looked at it and widened her eyes…. 😲 😳

Without taking his hand she said coolly….

Dipika: Aryan ye Special Squad office hai aur hum Commissioner's office meeting ke liye jaane waale hain!

Aryan looked at her and down at his hand and retracted it…. Smiling rather sheepishly he nodded…. 😃

Then only he noticed what she was wearing and his smile faded to a stunning surprise….. 😲

Dipika seeing him look at her like that blushed a little…. ☺️

Dipika: (Softly) Er… Chalein?!?! ❓

Aryan looked at her and rose his eyebrows…. 😔

Aryan: Aise professional dresses me bhi achchi lagti ho…. 😃 😳 (To himself) Actually you are looking stunningly, professionally beautiful! 😍

Dipika looked at him surprised that he was complimenting her so much outwards and stuttered….

Dipika: Oh thank you…. We are getting late!

Shrugging Aryan nodded and went forward…. He held the door opened for Dipika and followed her outside….



Unknown to them the whole team was watching all this from the opposite of the cabin…. After Aryan and Dipika left the whole team looked at each other and grinned happily, giving high five to each other! 👏 😛

Dipika entered the Commissioner's office with Aryan…

All the way to the meeting hall she was aware of people looking at her awed or strangely…. She felt their eyes upon her… And she knew that it was due to her dress... But not because it was looking bad on her... But because of the mere fact that Dipika Gosh was never seen in any other attire other than in suits…. Except maybe yesterday for the first time…. But that attire was different! 🤔

Today her attire was very much professionally elegant which was a turnover surprise…. 😛

Aryan opened the meeting door holding it open for Dipika as usual…. Courtesy seems to be pouring out of this guy more nowadays…… 😉

When they entered they saw around fifteen officials seated around the table, including six ladies… Some where prominent faces of the police force… Some were in plain suits, whom Aryan didn't recognize….

He greeted people he knew and Dipika too gave her morning wishes…. The head of the table had two chairs and two more chairs on the left of the table were free…. Just as they sat on the chairs allocated for them, the Commissioner entered…

Everyone stood up to give him due respect….

Commissioner: Good Morning! Gentlemen… Ladies…. Please be seated….

After all were seated the Commissioner started his talk….

Commissioner: Jaisa ki aap sab jaante hain ki we are going to go on a mission to track the drug racket spreading fast in Mumbai…. Un sab ki details aapke saamne jo folder hai usme hai…. Like how it was reported first till the latest report on the drug dealings….

Everyone took the folders and opened it… They just scanned the information while listening to the Commissioner….

Commissioner: Jo kuch bhi usme hai, vo aapke future reference ke liye hai… I should warn you all that this one mission is a very confidential one…. Yahan har koi jo hai will be working on different areas of the mission…. But you will have one reporting person, the person in charge of this mission, jo abhi kuch der me yahan aa jayenge…. And another piece of information…. Your next immediate person to report after the mission in charge would be Aryan Khanna, Chief, Special Squad… Also Special Squad office will act as the operating headquarters for this mission…. 👍🏼

The Commissioner looked at Aryan and Dipika smiling happily…. 😛

But Aryan and Dipika looked at each other surprised and shocked at the latest news because they had thought that they would only be assisting in the mission… Never had they thought that Aryan would be second in charge! 😲

Some people in the group also looked at each other satisfied with the arrangements and smiled at Aryan and Dipika…. But there also were some members who disliked the arrangement and were not happy with the growing popularity Special Squad was getting…. So of course there were murmurings and a person voiced it out, with a bitterness in tone which was obvious…. 😈

Man: Sir… Ye koi death crime solve karne ki baat nahi hai… Yahan jo koi hai, everyone are experts in missions like this, and have handled many in the past…. Inke experience ko chod kar Special Squad ko itni badi responsibility dena!?!?!? ❓ 🤢

Aryan looked at the man and instantly recognized him…. Mr. Raghuvamsh Deshpande… Head of Anti-Terrorist Squad, who had studied with Aryan in Special Squad training institute…. It was between him and Aryan that the competition held as to who would enter Special Squad as Assistant Investigating Officer years back… But Aryan's credibility and performance got him into Special Squad with ease…. Raghu's credibility posted him in missions tracking terrorists and gang mobs… 😳

Aryan was about to retort back when a hand restrained his… Aryan looked at Dipika who was looking at him warningly…. He indicated through his eyes that he would not retort and just stared back at Raghu….

The Commissioner looked at Aryan and then at Raghu and answered calmly….

Commissioner: Raghuvamsh Deshpande... Special Squad is an organization whose expertise is never doubted by me or my higher officials…. Is mission ke resources ko form karte samay humne shayad ye sab dyaan me rakha hoga? 😡

He asked Raghu in the sense that was he questioning the higher authority's decision…. 😳

Raghu stared at Aryan once and then looked at the Commissioner……

Raghu: No sir.... Sab kuch dyaan me rakha hi hoga…. Mera sirf ye matlab tha ki…

Commissioner: (Immediately) So?!!? When we thought about it, you shouldn't have any problem with it! 😈

Raghu: (In a subdued tone 😕 ) Yes sir… No problem…

He gave Aryan a death stare which Aryan too didn't fail to reciprocate…. He looked at Dipika's hand over Aryan's restraining him and gave a smirk and turned back his attention to the Commissioner… 😈

Commissioner: Appreciable! Back to our meeting… Main aaj sab ko bata doon ki this mission is not only arranged by Mumbai Police Force… International Drug Counsel, Mumbai wanted something to be done on this fast spreading racket and had informed the higher authorities… So after much of thoughts and even consulting the military we have arranged the mission and the resources required for this… The military was consulted because the involvement of terrorists is also considered a possibility…. Isliye kayi different fields se experts ko leke team banaya gaya hai…

Just then the Commissioner's mobile beebed… He read it and smiled…

Commissioner: Perfect timing… Your mission in charge has come…. 😛

Seeing the door the Commissioner said…

Commissioner: Ladies and gentlemen may I present to you your Mission Head… Francis Ashokraj Expedite…. 👏

Just as the Commissioner finished his introduction the door opened and he entered….

All head turned to see him and were surprised and stunned at what apparated before their eyes…. 😲

They looked at each frowning wondering whether this was the one who was going to lead them… 😕

Francis stood at the door smiling broadly and waved his ring filled hand around at the group…….

Francis: Hello team… Oh good morning Commissioner!

Francis covered the length of the hall dancing small steps….

Dipika gave a look at him from top to bottom.... And bottom to top... Whom did he remind her of?

Ah.... She got it... He reminded him exactly of the hero from the movie "The Pirates of Caribbean"....

Except that this pirate was dressed differently.... Or to say wierdly.... 😕 Elegant dress with strange accessories

Hie jean was tucked in high heeled black boots..... He also wore a broad brimmed hat…

He had long hair and a french beard neatly trimmed…

He wore a stud on his right ear.... Around six chains dangled around his neck which clinked as he danced to the head of the table….

He was also wearing a dark wrap around glasses……

As Francis passed behind her Dipika sensed she hated hated him… She didn't know why… She was seeing him for the first time in her life, but she knew, she confirmed that she hated him to the core…… His mere sight sent tingles down her spine and she fought herself to be under control! 🤢 😡

Francis reached the head of the table and shook hands with the Commissioner…. He turned towards the group who were still shocked to see such an entrant…

Commissioner: Ye Francis Ashokraj Expedite hain… Aur main ye chahoonga ki inke baare me janane se behtar aap apne kaam par dyaan dein.... His work explanation and identity is mission ke liye important nahi hai… He will be your command and that's what is important…. Francis may I introduce you to your group? ❓

Francis: Thank you sir… Main prefer karoonga ki main khud jaake sabse personally miloon… Expedite likes not to disturb anyone sir! 😛

The Commissioner nodded and took his seat……

Francis scanned the group grinning broadly… His eyes set on Dipika first, who was seated near him and he exclaimed….

Dipika looked up at him with no expression……

Francis: Oh…. Helluuuuuuu..... May I? (He held out his hand and only then saw her bandaged arm) Ooo… Ab ye kya lady? Hurted?!? Aww… That's bad… Because you missed a chance of Expedite kissing your hand…. That's okay…. Humare mission khatam hone tak to you will definitely become alright! To ab tak ke liye…. Your Dipika Gosh right?

Francis extended his left hand for Dipika's convenience…. Dipika looked at him and at the Commissioner…. Not wanting to make a scene she held out her hand, smiling forcebly…. 😳

Francis smiled, shook her hand and bent down and gave her a light hug… 🤗

Dipika felt Aryan seated beside her make a start… 😉 She looked sideways at him and saw him staring with pure hatred in his eyes… 😳 She didn't know whether to smile at Aryan's gesture or hate Francis's gesture…. 😡

But it was sure that she was taken aback by Francis's gesture but knew it was a one that was friendly…. So she refrained from saying anything and just smiled…. But she sensed she felt something else… A strange sensation.… But she knew that it definitely was not liking…. She hated him! 🤢

Francis then turned to Aryan beside her and extended his right hand….. He gave a mysterious smile and said…. 😈

Francis: Ah my right man… Aryan Khanna eh?

Aryan stood up looking at him without a blink and held out his hand…. 😳 😡

They both shook their hands… Francis tried to free his hands after a few shakes but found that Aryan held it strongly…. Francis smiled at him and held on to the grip competing Aryan…. 😊

Seconds were passing but both of their grips were getting stronger but both held a competing smile on their faces…. 👍🏼

Seeing Aryan's expression and that none was leaving the other's hand Dipika knew that something might come up… She immediately pulled the hem of Aryan's coat, out of sight of others…

Aryan looked down at her, looking up at him concerned and he loosened his grip…. Francis rolled his tongue in his mouth looked at Aryan smiling… 😃

Francis then went around the table meeting the group… Identifying everyone before they could introduce themselves….

Dipika didn't fail to notice that Francis didn't hug the other ladies in the room… And without fail Aryan too noted this gesture and contracted his eyes following Francis noting his behaviour…. 😡

Francis came back to his place at the head of the table….

Commissioner: Ab jab introductions ho gayi hai… Francis would be taking over from here…. Vo explain karenge ki is mission me kya kya kaise hone waala hai and what are the sub groups and their duties… (Looking at Francis) Francis….

Francis: Thank you sir…

Turning to the group, Francis's smile faded… His bubbly self became composed and his face showed an unbelievable change to seriousness from his joking, jovial expression…. 😳

Walking at he head of the table….

Francis: Team I much privileged to be working with you all… Lekin main aap sab se keh doon… This mission has a very limited time…. Reasons will be revealed later… Aapke saamne jo folders hain, un sab me vo saari information hai which are related to this mission…. Your individual duties… The sub-groups spiltings and co-ordinated duties... Everything… And if everything goes according to the plan, we'll have the boss of the drug racket down in our pocket…. Lights down please!

The lights were dimmed and Francis started a presentation……

Francis: Even though we have all the material in the folder, we don't like to miss anything… Isliye main personally aap sabko is mission aur duties o explain karoonga… As you must be aware from the Commissioner that I am your Command in charge for this mission… The second command in charge after me is Mr.Aryan Khanna, Chief, Special Squad…. Before I start my presentation I would like Mr.Khanna to update you all on the latest case Special Squad is working on, kyunki ye case humare is mission se close taaluk rakhta hai…. 🤓

Aryan looked at him surprised because he was not aware that he had to do a talk on the matter….. Seeing him still seated Dipika nudged him… He nodded and got up and gave all the case details till date…. After he was finished……

Francis: Thank you Mr.Khanna… That's a wonderful progress in a case two days old…. Yes team… Liquid ecstasy is what we are tracking here…. Kyunki ye drug yahan naya hai, it is not easy to track its presence… Lekin… Just if we find a break, its very easy to trace back to its origin because the exchanging hands would be less in number for a new drug….. As you can see in this slide….

The presentation continued for an hour and above….

Francis called out individual people explaining them their duties, timings and reporting in charge… He also covered his strategy to wrap up the gang….

Francis: So I hope everything is clear…. This mission is our country's future.... Youngsters are losing lives in numbers... As Mr.Khanna said, this drug is a death eater.... We are going to stop it....
(Leaning hands on the table 😳 ) And team I must warn you I hate treachery…. Koi bhi yahan gaddar nikalne ki koshish karta hai, ya uske baare me sochta bhi hai to that would be what he thinks or does last…. Is that clear? 😡

Francis looked at each and around at the table, catching their eye for some seconds to make them realize that he meant what he said….. 😈

He straightened smiled around the group….

Aryan and Dipika looked at each other wondering the same thing… Francis had not looked at them after the warning…. Both of them were confused to the core as to why Francis had ignored to look at them after givig his warning on treachery!

Another person who noticed this was Raghuvamsh and he didn't like it and felt something fishy in it…. 😔

Francis: Hope to see all guys around active and sound…. (Clapping his hands once 👏 ) We are here for a meeting man…. Maatam nahi…. So hoping to have a good time working with you guys! 😛

Commissioner: Thank you Francis…. Aap sab ab jaa sakte hain… Aap sab abhi se isme kaam karna shuru kar sakte hain and we have lots to go until our final strike…. So All the best team! 👍🏼

The group got up and thanking left the meeting room one by one….

Aryan went up to the Commissioner to talk…. 😊

Dipika also joined Aryan, the Commissioner and Francis who was standing beside him….

Aryan: Sir ye kya? Aapne bataya nahi ki Special Squad is the headquarters for this mission…. I mean we are happy about it… Lekin inform to karte and what about the cases? 😕

Commissioner: Aryan this decision was sudden… Taken just this morning… Aur cases ke baare me fikar mat karma… Ek aur team mere office se hi kaam karegi jo tumhare cases ko handle karenge…. They would come to you for assitance if needed! But that shouldn't be the case... 😊

Aryan: Sir phir office ke staffs?!?!?

Before the Commissioner could answer, Francis said…

Francis: Aryan when Special Squad is chosen as the Headquarters its staffs are also included implicitly…. Isliye humare mission ke full details unhe shayad pata nahi ho but they will also work with us…. I was the one who recommended you for this so I know what your expertise is! ⭐️

Aryan was astonished that Francis was the one who wanted to Special Squad to help him out… He remembered what the Commissioner had said yesterday and wondered how and why Francis knew about them? 🤔

He just smiled….

Aryan: Thanks for the appreciation…. My team does its best in its duty…. (To the Commissioner) Sir ab to humare liye kaam nahi hai…. Untill we get a break through from others….. Tab tak main apne case me kaam karta hoon… Since it is related to this, if we get a break through in this, it would help our mission…. 😊

Commissioner: Theek hai Aryan…

Aryan: So then I'll take your leave….

Commissioner: Ek minute Aryan… I need to talk to you for a minute… (To Dipika) Dipika…

Dipika: (Smiling) No problem sir…. Main bahar wait karti hoon… (Looking at her watch) Just a minute sir….

Dipika nodded to Aryan and took him a little away from the Commissioner….

Dipika: (Softly) Aryan… Mere doctor se haath ke liye casting karne ki appointment hai…. Der ho jayegi, main nikalti hoon… Tum…

Aryan: (Interrupting) Ek minute…. Tum kaheen nahi jaa rahi... Wait for me outside.... It won't take much time I guess... Main tumhe doctor ke paas le chalta hoon… 😳

Dipika: (Shaking her head) Lekin Aryan der…

Aryan: (Sternly 😡 ) Dipika! Maine kaha naa, wait for me outside… You are going no where alone… Main leke jaata hoon…. Is that clear? ❓

Dipika looked at him and frowned….

Dipika: Okay okay… Itna saqt hone ki zaroorat nahi hai… I'll wait outside.... Hmph! 😕

Saying Dipika looked at him making a face and left the room....

Aryan looked at her go and chided himself… He had showed his frustration on her again! 😵 All because of that Francis…. Aryan turned and saw that he was talking to the Commissioner…

Aryan again went back to the Commissioner to talk to him…

Aryan: Sorry sir…

Commissioner: No problem…. Main tumse….

Francis: (Interrupting) Sir…. I'll take leave…. Mujhe kuch kaam hai, Special Squad me apna kaam jo shuru karna hai… (Looking at Aryan and smiling sarcastically) 😈

Commissioner: Oh… Okay then… Be careful and all the best Francis…

Francis shook hands with the Commissioner… He then turned to Aryan extending his hand…. Aryan smiled back the same smile and shook hands… This time the hand shake was short but firmer than the previous one….

Francis left the room dancing the same way he came in, while Aryan watched him go and frown…. Turning to the Commissioner he voiced his doubt….

Aryan: Sir can I ask you something? ❓

Commissioner: Sure Aryan…. Isme poochne ki kya baat hai?

Aryan: Are you sure that, that is the one to lead us? ❓

Showing his thumb towards the door…

Commissioner: (Stunned 😲 ) Aryan!!! (Then he burst out laughing at Aryan's indication 😆 ) I know… Isi baare me tumse baat karna chahtha tha…. Aryan! Francis is in this attire for a reason…. He has nabbed many high ranged criminals whom the whole police force have been searching for years together…. He is an expert in what he is doing…. Don't go by looks Aryan…. I needn't say that to you! 😊

Aryan: Mujhe pata hai sir… Bas ki he is…

The Commissioner smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder and said…….

Commissioner: Strange and different!? He is... No doubt in that! But Aryan this mission is really important for our country's future… Kayi jaanon ka sawaal hai… Isliye please jo kuch bhi ho apne aapko kaabu me rakho and cooperate with Francis…. I trust you!😳

Aryan: Aur aapka trust bekaar nahi jayega sir… We have promised to help…. And our duty to the society is the same as anyone's even if the mission is different…. I assure you sir, we will grab the criminals! 👍🏼

Commissioner: I know you would…. All the best!

Aryan: Thank you sir!

Aryan shook hands with the Commissioner and left the room…

Outside the room he looked both sides and found Dipika standing at the entrance with Francis beside her…. By her stance and looks Aryan knew that Francis was bugging her and that bugged him…. 😡

He fastened his pace…. 😉



After Dipika left the room….

Dipika decided to wait near the entrance and started towards the door only to be stopped by Francis….

Francis: Hey gorgeous! 😛 Expedite is not impressed with anyone so easily…. But he is with you now…. And you are looking great in this dress…. Heard you wear suits only… But this is elegantly professional… Keep it up! 😉 👍🏼

Dipika looked at him pointedly and shook her head rolling her eyes…

Dipika: (Sarcastically) Thank you! 😊 😡

Twisting her mouth she continued walking…. Seeing her stomp Francis grinned and called out…. 😛

Francis: Hey Deeps!

Dipika stopped walking and looked back at him….. 😡 Francis was coming towards her and Dipika felt he strange sensation again….

Did she hate him? Of course she hated him! His dress, his style, he was bugging! 😔

But then what was that feeling?!?!? That was……

Just then Francis reached her and she said angrily…….

Dipika: Excuse me Mr.Francis…. My name is Dipika Gosh… Dipika bulaya to theek… Ye nick name vick name don't use!

Francis: Ooo… Gussa? 😲 😉 Nah.... Dekho Deeps... Expedite jise chahe use waise hi bulata hai.... Aur agar kisine nahi bulaya hai, to that's even more better… Expedite is expert in doing things differently, I start a trend you see…. 😃

Dipika: (Sarcastically) Yeah…. I see… Aapki attire batati hai aap kaise trend banate hain… 🤢

Francis grinned and lifted his coat, bowing a little and said…… 😃

Francis: Whoa… See… Everyone turns to look at Expedite…. And Deeps… Jise sab mudke dekhte hain, use sikandar kaha jaata hai….

Dipika looked at him hard and said…

Dipika: Log pagal ko bhi mudke dekhte hain… Uska bhi attire different hota hai! And for your information vo waisa nahi hai... Gaana hai ki jo hasta hua duniya se jaata hai vo hai sikandar!

Francis laughed aloud and said….

Francis: Hey… What a joke! Great… Deeps you joke too?!?! That's great…. Guess me going to have great time with you all guys… I am happy… 😛

Dipika: Whatever! 😔

Francis continued....

Francis: And Deeps maine kaha naa I like to make a trend, to ye jo maine kaha ki you dress different and become sikandar will go down in history yaar! 😃

Dipika took a deep breath to calm herself and was about to retort back when Aryan reached them………. 😡

Looking at Francis Aryan asked Dipika……

Aryan: Chalein Dipika? ❓

Dipika looked at him and nodded silently…

Aryan and Dipika glanced at Francis grinning at them, and left the building to the parking lot…. 😃 😉

Just before going out of sight Dipika glanced back once more and saw Francis…. Francis waved a bye and blew her a kiss… 😉 😳

Dipika angrily rolled her eyes and hurried out of sight…. 😡 😔

Aryan was waiting near the car, with the passenger door opened… He saw Dipika come and get in with a huff…. Aryan looked at her and wondered why she was disturbed…

Shaking off this thought he bent down… Startled at his action Dipika looked up at him questioningly… 😲

Smiling he said…

Aryan: Seat belt? ❓ 😳

Dipika just nodded and Aryan clasped the seat belt around her…

Aryan went around, got into the driver's seat and started the car…. He just looked at Dipika who had her hand on the window's edge and was thinking something deeply… 🤔

He didn't try to indulge in any talks as he knew she was serious about her thinking…

Waiting at a signal…. Aryan looked at Dipika who was still frowning thinking…. Not able to bear the suspense Aryan asked…

Aryan: Er… Dipika… Bahut sataya usne?

Dipika looked at Aryan puzzled... Seeing her expression Aryan said…

Dipika: Kya!? Kisne sataya? 😕

Aryan: (With an annoyed face) Vo… Wahi… That pirate!

Dipika widened her eyes…. Then she burst out laughing… Seeing laugh like this Aryan asked confused…. 😆

Aryan: Has kyun rahi ho? Maine kuch galat kaha? Waise ki to lagta hai vo…

Trying to control her laughter Dipika said….

Dipika: Nai… Vo… Mai….

Just then there was a loud honking noise…. Dipika and Aryan looked back astonished… Then they looked at the signal and saw that it had turned green and they were blocking the way….

Dipika: Aryan pehle gaadi nikalo…. We are on the way!

Aryan nodded hastily and started the car….. After a while…

Aryan: Ab bolo kyun has rahi thi? ❓

Thinking again about what Aryan had said Dipika started chuckling again….

Dipika: Nai.. Kuch nai… Tumne Francis ko pirate kaha naa isliye!

Aryan: (Glancing at Dipika once) Kyun? Dikhta to waise hi hai…. Us Pirates Of Carribean ke Captain ki tarah…. Yeah uska attire different tha bas… 😔

Dipika: (Smiling) Haan… Vo to hai… Main isliye has rahi thi kyunki, vo…. Jab maine Francis ko dekha to maine bhi yahi socha ki he resembled the pirate…. 😆

This time Aryan looked at Dipika surprised and laughed….

Aryan: Are wah! Humare thoughts kitne milte hain…. 😛

Dipika: (Smiling a little 😊 ) Haan… Pehli baar we agree on something without arguing.…

Aryan looked at Dipika and smiled in turn….

Aryan: Achcha hai…. Lekin maine kuch poocha…. Did he trouble you very much?

Dipika: (Shaking her head) Nahi Aryan… Bas zaraa attitude dikha raha tha… But other than he seems ok…

Just then Aryan took a turn very sharply and Dipika held on to the window for support… 😵

Dipika: Aryan!

Aryan side glanced at Dipika and said....

Aryan: Sorry… Vo turn zaraa kuch zyada hi curved tha…. 😡

Saying he concentrated on his driving again….

Dipika bent forward a little and looked at him… She saw that Aryan's face showed annoyance and frustration… She couldn't help smiling seeing him like that…. 😳 But again her confusion came up and her smile vanished…. She leant back on the seat and looked out the window thinking….

"Kab baat karoon Aryan se? Subah baat karni chahi, lekin in sab confusion me to time hi nahi mila.... Ab to lagta hai ki aaj mouka nahi milega…. What with this mission and that Francis coming to office?!!?!?" 😳

She just sighed and let her thoughts flow about Francis…. Something was definitely strange…. Something which she felt that…. 🤔

The car braked and Dipika saw that they were outside the hospital….

Aryan got out and helped Dipika out too…

They were in time for the appointment….


Dipika was seated beside the doctor's chair and Aryan was seated in the front…. The doctor checked Dipika's bandage and was in a very bad mood…. 😡

Doctor: Tum police waale kyun aise karte ho? Kabhi koi treatment ya medication ko theek se follow hi nahi karte…. (Dipika looked at Aryan frowning a little, Aryan just smiled back at her 🤔 ) Hamesha aisa hota hai ki you come back again and all because of your ignorance towards it… Thank God ki swelling jaldi se kam ho gaya…. Ab casting kar sakte hain… Chaliye… (To the nurse) Casting ready hai?

The doctor nodded and took Dipika to another room to cast her hand…. Dipika nodded to Aryan who gave his approval……
