Yes Shruti, I am aware that Luv Kush will go and recite the story of Ramayana as taught by Valmiki and there by ask questions etc ,

The point that the kind of thinking the children would develop under this great Maharishi might have also been a factor in leading them ( along with the factor that they are sita's sons )to question the justice rendered to Sita , is what I referred to . Like the way Mithila sisters have been groomed by Janak have a special strength of mind to question etc .
In contrast , the generations of Raghukul never questioned about the acts of Raja Harishchandra's acts as they were only thinking from the vachan palan Reeti and a typical patriarchal society . Nobody including Ram had not questioned Guru Vasishta as the stress was on vachan palan at all costs !

I too recall a famous song of Ramayana sung by Luv and Kush in an old Tamil film .

I had just liked the way he was in support of sita and quite annoyed at the injustice rendered to her by Ayodhya vasis which reflected in his conversation with Janak .

Sorry to interfere but just wanted to say only this much. Hope you don't mind.

There was a contrast difference between the teaching given to Mithila princesses and the Ayodya princes. The boys were given the knowledge of Sanskar, Raj Dharma, manu Dharma (humanism) and Yudhdharma etc. which are essential for the boys to become good human and best warriors. But the girls got the knowledge of binding the family, behaving with elders and youngers and how to take care of guests, how to support the family etc. which were essential for girls.

Yes I do appreciate Janak for his grooming of his daughters but at the same time, I am 100% sure that he would have taught the same what raghukul had taught to his sons, if he had any. So let us not compare

@vipraja there was no problem in the teaching of Raghukul. Problem of Raghukul was in actions. It was not inline with the teaching. What was taught in mithila and Ayodhya would have been same. I agree to Jaya on that.
Ram practiced those teachings the right way. But since those teachings have bent by his ancestors when he tried to do it the right way, it resulted in personal pain.
Just imagine your dislocated shoulder and you are trying to bring it back. It will be painful right. But then you have to do it. You cannot function with dislocated shoulder. So what Ram is doing is putting back things the way they should be.
" Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" is Newton's third law of motion. Anywhere you go in this world Newton's law will be taught the same way. But how many will apply it the right way. Or how many will understand the essence of this law before doing the action. The application differs from place to place, but law never changes

The special aspect of SKR is that it brings out the greatness of other characters without detracting the qualities from Ram or Sita. As I mentioned before everyone of us need someone to understand our stand without being judgemental. Ram got it at last and from that person whose loss was equal to his own. Rajrishi Janak lives up to his name and so beautifully too. He is the only person to understand a husband's pain at a king's decision. Janak is even able to look beyond that pain to see the immense strength that was needed to take that decision. I realized once again that Sita's character could not have been anything less or different...with such a father. Sita impressed me with her interaction with Lakshman when she comes to know of Ram's decision...today I could trace it to the source.
@Vipraja it is stated in one of the translations to Valmiki's Ramayan that Valmiki was so impressed with Sita's demeanour and her strength of character that he was inspired to write Adbhut Ramayan which show cased her greatness.
He looked upon her as his daughter and thus did not stop Luv-Kush from either holding the sacrificial horse and defeating the forces of Ayodhya or their questioning of first Ram and then the people of Ayodhya about the righteousness of banishment of Sita. Though I do prefer the prasang where they hold the horse without knowing of their parentage and their only aim is to question Ram about his decision that they feel was not fair to a woman. This followed by their going to Ayodhya and asking those responsible tough questions but with the knowledge that this time they were fighting for both their parents is the version I have always loved. But I don't know what version this team would adopt. But seeing the episodes it seems a little rushed where the bonding between Sita and her sons are the casualty. And the precap with the Karan-Arjun flavour made me cringe😉. I hope it plays better than my imagination..😆

@Savitha let us not judge on the precap😆😆. precap of SKR has fooled me many times 😆😆. Episodes would be rushed as I feel the first plan would have been to end the show in Oct and then it got extended till Nov. So maybe after a week it will slow down a bit.
I feel after the BD fiasco at 8:30 slot SP might have decided not to play with 8pm slot with a show like Shakthi for competition. Even EK couldn't save 8:30 slot. BD went on to become hit online, while Kuch toh hai darmiyaan tanked without a trace. So to replace SKR which has stable TRP with a high budget show against a tough competition would have been fool hardy. So I guess they moved it to 8:30

Read this
With verdict like that of Soumya coming in one day or the other such incidents will increase. Kill the criminal and face the law. Afterall how much the law will punish and when. When all appeals are done and dusted with you can come out😆😆

Well shruthi
In an ideal world they would have been given minimum penalty to discourage anyone who wants to take the law in their own hands. But in this world we are living they would probably be subjected to various indignities in terms of pre trial...trial dates ,the police...if they manage to emerge unscathed the neighbours and the society would make their lives miserable.
sometimes I feel that it is not the law which fails the women but the society. Until the discrimination against the victim is not stopped, nothing changes.

@savitha what I meant is woman might take law into their hands in desperation. What happens after that well that is a different thing. Today there will be enough people supporting the girls also. So it is not as bad as it used to be. Because when law doesnt give closure people will themselves go for closure.

@savitha di few versions say luv kush go to ayodha and ask the king for the queen and then realize that siya was exiled if that's the case they had captured the ashwamedh as kids not realizing what they were doing and in dp book it's not mentioned like they defeated, shatrugn sees them and tells valmiki to bring them to ayodha like street entertains. Valmiki Is not really happy at such an invite to which siya says hierarchy stems from the need to dominate not the human ability to expand the mind. And then in ayodha after realizing the queen has been exiled they capture the horse and then defeat everyone and when ram comes siya stops him saying these are his children so that's when bhoomipravesh happens going by Devdutt book.
Btw hadn't ram destroyed the wrong doers in asur clan? Luv and kush also kill asurs?

Luv is like ram keeping maryada
While kush is like siya
And had read in DP book siya teaching
Plants compete for sunlight and animals for mates. Blessed with humanity only we have the power to abondon competition to so so is dharma. The scene of them falling in siya feet seemed to depict that
