Guys watched the yesterday's episode today morning only. Such a beautiful episode which encompassed the idiom pride goes before the fall.
Yes Ravan who was telling Vishnu had to take the form of human and suffer so much to defeat him because he was invincible. He was mocking at Shri Hari. And in the last minute when he knows the truth of who he is I loved what he tells " Shri Hari took so much trouble to give him mukthi and lessen the time to reach back to him to just one more birth . He bows before Shri Hari's compassion.

And Ram the man who fought like anything to kill the tormentor of his wife, once he falls addresses him as a person of great knowledge and asks Lakshman to take the knowledge.

Why Ram asks Lakshman to take the knowledge instead of himself. Because Lakshman is more human. And in asking him to take knowledge from Ravan, Ram shows to the world to people like us even in enemies, even in people doing adharma knowledge exists and at their last moments we have to take it.
It is a way of telling the world to take lessons from people who had all the knowledge in the world, but didnt use it appropriately and which in turn destroyed them. It is to tell us not to repeat their mistakes.

And Ravan tells Lakshman. That it was his pride that did him. I will make a seperate post on Pride. But I loved the way Ravan explained Pride. It was a beautifully crafted episode and both Ashish and Karthik sealed it.

Yes, the writers killed the episode's dialogues. So deep, but simple! Every person's life has a lesson, all we need to do is see it. Even if it doesn't teach the whole world, it will at least teach a couple of people. Lessons are there to help, no matter how many are helped.

Raavans entire speech was beautifully written and conceptualized. And this proves that Knowledge is greater than everything : Right, Wrong, Truth and False. Because of Raavans great knowledge, even Lord Rama had to perform Pashchyatap. But the only thing is, he used his knowledge to destroy, which in turn destroyed him, for Gyaan is only to rise and make others rise.

Superb di
And it is true that history repeats itself if we don't learn and move on from it.
An example the maryada purushottam left to the world but I feel in kali yug that mistake is being repeated

Yes Anu knowledge should be used always to bring light to other's life. Not for your selfish needs. That was Ravan's realization.

@Sanju truth liberates you, if you are willing to see it. Many people does not realize it till the last breath. If we can realize it when time is there it not only changes you, but others around you.
Ram's life was completely showing that principle. Understand truth, accept truth and deal with it.

Yes, di. The truth does liberate and lies trap. When the Ayodhya vasis thought Sita was not loyal, and Sita was banished, Sita was trapped in a life of misery. And when the people realized their mistake, they were trapped in an enormous feeling of guilt. Like the truth, lies don't only affect one person, but also the people around them.

Knowledge when shared will break ignorance. Knowledge is an exacting mistress and it requires whole hearted devotion on the part of the person seeking it. Ravan knew a lot... But what happens is well known

That's a nice way to put knowledge, a mistress. So can you tell me who would be the wife? 😆

Knowledge is one of the only things in the world that when its is shared, it only increases.
