What an episode today. First let me start with the story of Jay-Vijay. See how many sons of Brahma comes to meet Vishnu. 4. Once again knowledge, wealth , power and moksha. And why does Jaya-Vijaya gets the curse. Because in their need to do duty, they prevented the Bhakts from meeting Narayan. And what is the curse. That they will be born in earth so that they understand how difficult it is to reach Narayan. Was Jaya-Vijaya doing anything wrong. If you look theortically nothing wrong. But if you look from Narayan's perspective they did wrong. In the name of duty they prevented Bhakts from reaching him. Lord Narayana is always available for his Bhakts. Even though well intended preventing Bhakts from reaching Narayana was a mistake and they showed a lack of knowledge there. But the Bhakts what did they do. They used the power of Bhakthi to curse them. So we need to understand whenever we display lack of knowledge that action succumbs to power one way or the other. Knowledge is the one that protects you from power.
If you compare Jaya-Vijaya to modern world we can see people like them in all religious places who feels they own the God and others has to obey the rules set by them. Keeping money for different routes to reach God. The one with money can reach faster and the other without money will have to take longer route. And what does lack of money really means. It means lack of knowledge. So the queue is longer and your time to reach God is also longer not because of money, but because of knowledge. It is different when you choose not to pay the greedy people and instead take the long route that is freewill. My analysis is when you don't have money to pay and are forced to take longer route.
Now the options given. Why does Vishnu says 7 births for Bhakts to reach him and 3 birth for enemy to reach him. And why does Jaya chooses the second option. This is where Jaya displays knowledge. First and the foremost if he is an enemy God has to come to him, no matter what to destroy him. But as a Bhakt he has to go to God. Now the real meaning of that choice by Vishnu. What does Vishnu stands for. Sustenance. How does he sustains. Breaking the Sanskriti that are harmful to Prakriti and setting new Sanskriti aligned with Prakriti . This process of change has to happen continuously for Prakriti and Sanskriti to thrive in collaboration. How does breaking of Sanskriti happen. Only through enemies. Enemies misuse Purusharth, uses all the privileges given by Sanskriti for their happiness. And people reach a stage where they feel they want a change. And by killing the adharmis Vishnu kills that harmful Sanskriti and re-establish Sanskriti in line with Prakriti.
A Bhakth does not give Vishnu that privilege. They come to him. He makes Vishnu's task harder to bring change. Look at Ayodhya. Destroying Lanka was not a big deal for Ram, but destroying the culture of Ayodhya is. So it will take a Bhakth 7 births to understand this truth of change. Only then they can go to him.
If you look at the movie Oh my God also you will see this principle. Krishna comes Paresh Rawal's character. Because that man needs proof of God's existence. He started questioning God and none of the Godmen could stand against him and his case. So it is always better to go to God with a aesthetic mind. You will reach him faster. Because he has to come to you to give your proof that he exists. And only you can be a medium for the change he very much wants.
Now let us come to Parvati- Sita. Parvati said 2 beautiful dialogues to Sita. One what I am , that is you. It was a message to every woman from the divine mother. In every woman she exists, her powers exists and every woman can do all the roles she does . From the loving Gowri to destructive kali. She only need to realize which role she is playing and based on the situations she has to switch between any of the roles or powers that she is bestowed with. And this knowledge of the existence of divine powers and its appropriate use is important for the woman. She needs to understand herself. She needs to understand when she is constructive, when she is destructive. Many woman don't understand it and when we don't understand ourselves we cannot hand hold the next generation in the right direction. Our failure as mothers is a loss of generation.
Now Parvati says another beautiful dialogue with man a woman is Gowri, without him she is Kali. You have to go beyond the literal meaning of this dialogue. In literal sense it may mean a married woman is a Gowri , an unmarried one Kali. No. Marriage doesn't guarantee she will be Gowri. For that a man has to treat her part of her just like Shiv treats Shakthi. She should not be kept confined against her wishes. She has to be loved and respected. From a woman's perspective she needs to love and respect her husband and understand her real power is him. She is expressing through him. She becomes carrier of life through him. If anything of this doesn't happen a married woman can also be a Kali.
So is being Kali bad. No. If she has a strong Gowri inside her and her destructive power is directed towards the right cause then no issue. But it is the absence of Gowri that creates the problem. Even Durga comes as a single woman to destroy Mahisasur
Every single woman destroys something or the another. It can be a set of traditions, rules and many other things. But single status of women is towards the destruction of existing systems.
Now look at Kaikasi. What is she. She is Kali. A woman who was left by her husband because of her thirst for power. She has created a kingdom by destroying and it will destroy itself through another woman her daughter who is also a Kali.
Now the most interesting part. Shanta. Whenever Shanta was shown have we ever seen her husband. Answer is no. She is more or less in a abandoned state. She looks Gowri. But who is she actually. She is Kali. She is a lonely woman. She knows her condition will bring destruction, so she asks the brother's to be together so that the pretense of being Gowri can be taken forward.
Now who is Sita. In Lanka she becomes Kali. And in Ayodhya Ram ensures she becomes Kali by separating her form him. Because to destroy the existing system of Ayodhya he needs the Kali form of Sita. But Gowri in Sita is strong that's why Luv-Kush are raised properly by her. The thirst of Shanta's Kali is quenched by Sita's Kali who has both Gowri and Kali in her. She only destroys the things Ram wants to destroy and uses her constructive powers to re construct things.
