SIYA KE RAM- 1/06- A MATTER OF CHOICE Today's episode is in top 7 or top 10. But nonetheless it was a decent watch..
Yday I purposefully asked if sita will fall or not cz my mind and heart were in perfect tandem that she won't.. And she didn't π
Cvs take a bow... It was perfect... π
And today the silence breaks... For ravan and for surpankha.
I loved the way surpankha walked with the jug of water...
That walk.. She meant to conquer. She meant to rejoice her Victory. But what she gets? Babaji ka thullu π
I loved the scene for a particular reason.. Surpankha throwing the water drop by drop.. It symbolizes that she's giving away the wealth... Water is wealth. Save it. If u waste it u r poor. And surpankha by spilling the water drop by drop is inviting poverty. The day isn't far when Lanka will burn to ashes.
I loved how she tried to attack and meghnad shows up. This man is terrific.
Did anyone notice that slight guilt in his eyes as sita looks at him and he goes away? βοΈ wow!!!
The next person to get babaji ka thullu is ravan π
"If you had married me"..
Idiot what's the use... Ab saare If's hi reh gaye hai π
I loved how they narrowed down from surpankha's revenge to ravan's insult...
Had ravan taken the revenge for his sister.. Maybe maybe he would have won.. The reason is simple " Justice".
"Khoon ke badle khoon, ijjat ke badle ijjat"
But what starts his downfall is this "me" factor.
His attention getting diverted from surpankha's nose to his nose is the sole reason for his defeat. Janaka had indirectly pulled out his nose the day when his failure was addressed.
I loved the screenplay for this reason... Outstanding!!!
Sita gives him back in his language π the lady is a changed person now.. Way to go sita... π₯³
Kaikasi is doing smthn... How stupid is this π
The flame of fire will tell whose satitva is greatest. Gimme a break pls π€£ that was quite π€ͺ
And kaikasi comes *dhish* *dhish* to find that sita is sati..
I really don't get this aise namuno ko hi darshan kyun hote hai bhagwano ke? Acche log mar gaye h kya? π
So kaikasi mata giving "valuable" knowledge to her cuchoo muchoo son.. Marry sita.. How dare you lady π‘ but I don't have to worry sita will show you your place darling MIL.
I remember saying this once "satitva" is not a woman's chastity and her deeds. Its the deeds of the man.
And kaikasi mata forgets this completely. Instead she's provoking him to marry sita to get extra protection.
And this is where mandodari's satitva weakens.. This is where sita has an upper hand. Cz ram never thot of any other woman than sita. But ravan thinks about sita.
And the phuski rocket surpankha arrives once again π€£
And what dialogue yaar cvs π
"Some chains are visible. Others are not. Some are of iron. Some of gold"
This was spectacular.βοΈ
The dialogue was so deep.. So deep... It was as if sita saying
" I am bounded by the chains that are visible and I have no control over these bounds. You are bounded by chains which you name differently. You have control on them. But the funny thing is am not bounded but you are bounded. My mind, heart and soul are free. Only body is trapped. Your body is free but your mind, heart and soul are trapped. You had a choice to forgive or to seek revenge. But you chose the latter and bounded yourself. At times the boundaries on which you have control are tougher than those on which you don't have any. I don't have a choice than keep my body here. I don't have a choice than accept and reject these bounds. But you had a choice to get free from the clutches by forgiving. But you didn't. You trapped yourself. Don't pity me coz I didn't a choice. Pity yourself cz you had a choice "
And ravan keeps every word of what sita meant to surpankha π
Bro if you had kept the same word to mandodari you would have been safe.
The chains fly off.. Like literally... One here *dhish*. Other there *dhish* but how did the iron necklace get off π
Surpankha is shown her place.. And this is what sita meant by chains.. In mithila the scene was exact opposite. And that's what has given sita the strength.
Did anyone notice how sulochana touches the gold as Sita utters those words π splendid!!!!
Ravan asks sita to choose her room. And see.. The chains are off. Sita is free and she makes a choice. A straight slap on surpankha's face.
I loved loved the analogy of the tree's shelter. Sita relates that shelter to ram. WOW!!!!! Cvs whatta thot yaar π
There can be many glitches and distortions in the show but what cvs score on is the thought behind the screenplay.
Sita looks around to find lotus, water, flowers.. Her nature is there. And she sits there waiting either for her death or for ram to come.
I loved how meghnad tried to follow and ravan stopped him. That was expected from this "highly educated" person.
Cmn to the title...
Am selecting "A matter of choice"
And this is what todays episode was about.
To keep quiet or to protest.. Mandodari, vibhishan, sulochana had a choice.
To follow blindly or to think rationally. Meghnad had a choice.
To seek justice for sister or take a personal revenge. Ravan had a choice.
To forgive or to seek revenge. Surpankha had a choice.
To lower down the eyes or to stare. Sita had a choice.
To select ram or select ravan. Sita had a choice.
To select a room. Sita had a choice.
Chains are nothing but choices. You can break or make them. Ultimately choice is yours. Some will trap you some will liberate you.
