Hey guys, aftr reading all of ur wonderful posts, i forgot to ask one ques that has been bugging me since the episode where maa kali had rescued maa sita from the demons.
Y did mahadev tell mata parvati that she should have intervened if & only if sita had evoked her? 😕 and y did hanuman sense sugreev's state only when sugreev thinks of him?

Mata parvati is jagath janani ryt? A mother will always be concerned about the child & will protect her child even when the child doesnt voice about it. Considering sita's case, it could be taken as maa lakshmi's maya & mahadev could hv been ryt but will the same be applicable to humans or to be specific, mortals like us?

In thiruvasagam, there is a line "Thaayir siranda daya aana thatuvane" which means that God is kindness personified, who has much more kindness when compared to a mother. So, wont he come to us in dismay, even before we evoke him?

@Aadhya- I can answetr your question about Mahadev telling Parvati Ma not to interfere.
See, when Brahmaji created the world as we know it, Maha Vishnu requested Brahmaji to give the entire creation with free will; free will to call God.
As Sita Ma didn't call for Ma Parvati for help, Ma Parvati shouldn't have gone. This is what Mahadev says.

She is Jagath Janani. Of course she is. But even a Ma, beyond a point cannot help their child till the child asks for help.

@Aadhya when I was watching MB, there is a dialogue Balram tells to Krishna that he will not tell the weakness he created for Duri. If he helps everytime mankind will lose faith on Purusharth or rather knowledge, wealth and power. So allow them to find on their own. Allow them to think on their own. When they do something with their effort it will have more value.
So if the God is not called, or there is no threat to the devotee's life, God should not intervene. We know that even in MB, Krishna creates the illusion only when Arjun is walking towards his death. Till then he allows Arjun to fight.
Help is appreciated when one request it and it is given at the most appropriate time. Else a mother will make the child lazy and couch potato with no life skills.

Thanks for clearing my doubt di 😊
My paati used to tell me that we dont evoke lord untill we get rid of the overconfidence that we have in us. She told me that in MB during VH, draupadi was trying her level best to free herself frm dushasan with all her might and when she thought that she wouldnt be able to do so, she prayed to lord krishna to save her.
By offering help when one evokes lord, does he intend to break our overconfidence or say pride?

Hi, guys. Thanks for the wonderful discussions! I see Sruthi di and Srutha di are trying to answer our Aadhya's answers, so I want to help to.

Aadhya, He does in a way try to break our overconfidence and pride, but in a less violent way. He wants to instill in us the qualities of humility and total samarpan to Him. And, he does this through prayer. When we pray to him, our thoughts should be, "Oh Great Lord, whatever will happen to me is in Your hands, and whatever You do to me, I will accept as a blessing." By doing so, humility is instilled in us, towards Him and others.

Hope it helped, and if I am wrong, please correct me! Oh, and I hope your mother is feeling better!
