It was an interesting episode. The dilemma and Sita's decision to break her vachan to Lakshman instead of sending the rishi away empty handed was more to justify Sita's actions to viewers. Sita is worried of Rishi krodh in Valmiki Ramayan too.
The dupatta that Sita wears has suddenly turned more transparent than before😕 also looks like Sita forgot to properly listen to lakshman's bylaws... She looked surprised that the rekha did not come back up after she crossed it😉

Sita ma does fight raavan before he drags her into the pushpaka vimaan. She pushes him away and manages to run before he catches her back again. So this run, hide and seek covered it well. SKRs Sita handles arms. So the knife throwing is no surprise.the scene was intense enough to keep you hooked.

Sita ma also gives a tongue lashing to raavan. Tomorrow is hence no surprise. Raavan in rishi roop is scary. The actor can change his expressions from a smirk to anger in a second. Well done⭐️

Shri Ram and Lakshman are not going to reach on time. But one cannot but wish they did😭

Jambhavan does not give any advice about the warrior putting a single arrow through 7 trees in 1 shot. Sugriv shows a tree and tells Shri Ram that vaali could shoot an arrow straight through it. He already has 'tested' Shri Ram by showing him dundhubi's corpse. sugriv is not convinced even after Shri Ram kicks the corpse away 7 leagues.

Shr Ram settles Sugriv's doubt once and for all by not not just shooting an arrow through 1 but 7 trees.

Another thing that I noticed today and forgot to mention. Jambhavan kept chanting a shloka verse while doing penance in the cave. It kept ending with 'Vasudevaya Namah.' or something on those lines. But I definitely heard 'Vasudev'.
AFAIK, the name 'Vasudev' came into use only in the era of Lord Krishna. Right? Someone enlighten me on this one please.

Actually, it didn't.

Yes, Krishna is called Vaasudeva because he's the son of Vasudev, but Vaasudeva has another meaning which is "all pleasing lord" and even before Lord Krishna's incarnation, Lord Vishnu was called by this name.

Prahlad used to chant the Vaasudeva mantra all the time.

P.S.: Her costumes are way way too much revealing. Particularly today, it was pathetic. 🤢

P.P.S.:StarSita's pose in the new montage is more like a diva. With hairs sprawled all over, same revealing costumes, etc. :(

This is one thing that I really dislike more than anything else. StarSita does not dress decently at all. She wears no sari. Her entire midriff is constantly revealed, and the bottom portion of her costume looks more like a dhoti than a sari.

In the montage, she looks like some fashion model, not Goddess Sita, the mother of the universe.

I was never impressed with Sita's outfits in this show, but the vanvaas is hands down the worst.

The funny thing is, StarRam is covered a bit too much, whereas StarSita isn't covered enough. 🤣 He should seriously trade with Sita and give her his shawl, taking her puny top cloth for himself.

What are the CVs trying to say? 🤔

So I finally caught up on the Lakshman Rekha and Sita Haran episodes, and here are my detailed views.

- Karan Suchak really nailed the Lakshman rekha scene. Kudos to his superb expressions and body language. 👏👏 His acting was very realistic and the way he carried forth the pain and desperation truly touched my heart. You can really tell that he has great respect for the character he's playing, and not merely reading off a script. I had tears in my eyes watching him. 🥺

- Ashish Sharma has also done a really good job. From the moment Ram realizes Mareech's trap, Ashish has emoted all the right expressions. His concern for Sita, and the way he's both shocked and anxious after he sees Lakshman, were very realistic. I am so happy CVs did not show Ram condemning Lakshman. Whatever he spoke, they were natural and spoken out of fear and not anger. I just hope that after Sita Haran, Ram is not shown blaming Lakshman for it.

However, one thing CVs need to be mindful of - whenever Ashish is shown running, his dhoti rides up and his entire legs are exposed. I know it's natural when running in a dhoti, but come on, he's supposed to be Lord Ram and some dignity must be maintained. Costume designers should be mindful of the cut and stitching of the dhotis so that entire legs are not exposed when the actors are running.

- Coming to Madirakshi, I have mixed feelings about her acting. She was fine during the Lakshman rekha scenes. Yes, I had objections with Sita's characterization (especially during the emotional blackmail part) but Madirakshi's expressions and acting were alright. However, today's episode was horrible! I'm sorry, but Madirakshi really needs to practice her diction. Today's haran scenes were so filmy and OTT. Some of it was good, like when they were setting up the stage for the entire haran. The whole sequence seemed quite creepy and scary, but Ravan chasing Sita around the cottage for so long was too filmy for my taste (Ravan wouldn't have wasted so much time IMO. He'd have known that Ram and Lakshman would be returning any moment).

Madirakshi's expressions were so garish and overdone, and OMG the screeching! 🤢 Please don't tell me that all of Sita's stay in Lanka will be filled with her screeching. Literally every dialogue she threw at Ravan was delivered 10 decibels higher than normal.

Sita's dialogues when speaking with Ravan should be done in a controlled manner. They should be dripping with venom and anger, but Sita shouldn't sound like a typical Star Plus bahu delivering OTT speeches. Madirakshi should improve her expressions too. She should work on flaring her eyes so that her emotions can be read within them (instead of using a screechy voice to convey them), and she really needs to improve her diction. Her dialogues are delivered as if she's reading them from a script.

- Karthik was good as Ravan, but CVs have really overdone his laughter. They repeated the same laughter like a million times, it was extremely annoying. Like, we get it. Ravan finds great humor in the situation, but he ain't gonna be creepy by laughing like an idiot for an hour straight.

And what exactly is the intention of this Ravan? He wants Sita as his daasi and not his wife, so...what exactly is he planning once he gets to Lanka?

There is no curse that prevents Ravan from forcing a woman into servitude. He just can't assault her like he did Rambha, but what's going to prevent Ravan from forcing Sita to be a servant? How is this Sita going to end up in the ashok vatika?

Sita was only trying to escape from Ravan but the impact of the chase scene was just not there. No disrespect intended but It basically reminded me of another Tom & Jerry chase scene earlier on in the show (Ravan & Indra, I think it was?) And, for added drama we even had the matkis falling down...
Btw, what was the whole point of the chase scene as played out like that? 😕

And her sudden shocked expression...I dunno the transtion in emotions seemed so sudden and unnatural like *running* *running* 😲😲😲 (x 5; as if she suddenly remembered that she had to look shocked) *running* *running* *stand still*

And the clothes...like I said...hope someone fom the wardrobe dept gets this right. Looks so distasteful 🤢

I am watching this show only for Karan and Ashish .😳
I totally agree with Janaki di that Karan was superb in the lakshman rekha scene , his body language , he displayed his emotions very well , I was feeling that I am not watching any actor instead of lakshman himself .he was too great in that scene.👏👏😃 He made me felt the pain of lakshman when Sita was forcing him to go to Ram.😭😭🥺 The thing I liked the most that he had look down infront of bhabhi even in such intense scene . He only look up when Sita tries to hurt herself .👏

Ashish Sharma is also very good in displaying his emotions well. I am very happy that he didn't outburst on lalshman fpr leaving Sita alone in the hut, he displays correct emotions like fear , anxiety onscreen . I too don't like the way dhoti while running expose his leg. It doesn't seem good. Also one thing that the draping of the cloth around the body is so loose . It also should be properly draped like karan.😳

Madirakshi should portray her scenes well . Her dialogue delivery is poor and expressions r not on the correct point. When she has to display fear , she show anger , when she has to display sadness , she shows smile. I mean what is this !!🤢😡
She has to work very hard on her expressions!!
And costume designer has to work on Sita dress as well. It seems to be so exposed and it doesn't looked nice. She is not bahu of any saas bahu serial, She is the goddess and mother of universe . They should dress up like Ma Sita not any bahu of saas-bahu shows.

Madirakshi has to work on her acting skills now, when Aashish, Karan and Kartik are doing a fab job portraying their characters...she was horrible while emoting the Haran sequence!

P.S. Why is Jambvant introduced now? Shouldn't he be already present in Sugriv's court?
