Janhavi and Shruthi, Your wishes came true. Dashrath comes to Kaushalya to die. He apologizes for his negligence of them ...but some how it seemed incomplete without the mention of his daughter. He dies with the vision of Ram near him. The bhajan 'Itna karna swami' came to my mind. In that a devotee entreats his god to come for him when his end is near and also that last breath would follow only on his taking the lord's name. Dashrath 's death interspersed with the deer's suffering and death was poignant and out of this world.

The writers have come back from their holiday, Janhavi😆.

Today I gained a new perspective about Vishnu. It would have been so difficult to know exactly the tragic happenings that are occurring but he, bound by human laws is neither able to explicitly express his grief nor is he free to acknowledge the death of his father. What a tragedy...Maybe that is what makes Ram great, he completely followed the human laws of those times without manifesting his powers!

@DD yes I agree Ashish has a lot of depth and yes an actor's depth comes in his eyes. And Ashish uses them excellently. Even my mom was admiring him yesterday.

@Savitha yes I was happy that Dasrath told the dialogue not only to Kausalya but to Sumitra also that he has neglected them in his care of Kaikeyi and because of his mistake Kausalya lost her Ram. And coming to Ram adhering to human laws, Krishna was poorna avatar. On day 13 when he takes chariot of Arjuna to the other side of battlefield he knows what is awaiting his nephew. If we see Ram knows only when it is happening. Krishna knew even before it happened. Knowing what Arjun will lose, knowing what Abhimanyu will endure he takes Arjun to the other side of battlefield for the larger protection of dharma. Though I have read Mahabharath and it is always hard to read day 13, the SP MB had showed this knowledge of Krishna beautifully. And Sourabh Raj Jain just like Ashish yesterday had sealed it with perfection. The eyes reflecting the pain, still the uncanny smile of Krishna not leaving his lips.

Coming to Shanta she needed a mention, atleast Dasrath would have told he understood what Kausalya felt when Shanta went. And that one line would have made it complete and loop closure for me.

@Shruthi di , I was wondering why kirti gave the news to KK not Mandavi, not I got the answer from here.. That's why I love this thread so much all hidden symbolisms are crystal clear here..

@janhavi agree with Fawad being a lovely singer and Ashish being an amazing poet/ writer...

@Savitha ji, Even I feel the writers are back from their holiday mood 😆

But seriously guys one thing

We can't expect the show to be same as the way it was before Swamvar... That time they had a bank episode of about 1 month, vfx work was done timely, thus appeal of the show was immense... Not to forget 7 days is too creating problems...

After the vivah apart from few scenes, all the scenes looked dragged, but after the day they announced the coronation, I feel they are back, I liked all the episodes after that ...

Janhavi it's not rushing, it's a ideal speed, my cent..

About Sita becoming preachy, I am with Shruthi di ..

Mithila phase was her learning phase, she was a good student and asked questions.. Now it's application time I guess..

Still I would like to see a SiRa conversation like Sita asking questions and Ram answering them , like their first convo.. Nowadays Ram mostly initiates the convo, would not mind if Sita too initiates sometimes and ask questions 😛

Just a wish , nai mila toh koi nai 😆

I liked the way they didn't really stretch dasartha's viyog drama to the point of melodrama.the message about death, the episode conveyed was beautiful..all of us know death to be the ultimate teacher but keep forgetting about it during our life time. We are enveloped by the maya of immortality and lose our plot.

Sangeetha, Dasharatha counted all his failings which were related to kaikeyi and Shanta was not one such thing. He gave vachan to Kaikeyi's father, he neglected his 2 wives in his love or lust for Kaikeyi and for that he sought forgiveness from the 2 whom he wronged. He doesn't consider Shanta's thyag as his fault as he got his favorite son due to that thyag and fro that he feels pride.

Though I loved the episode as a whole and actors emotions to the core, I just have a little uneasiness when they showed Ram sitting next to Dying Dasharath and he infact closing his eyes (though in Dasharath's delusion mind). That was too emotional but with that don't you think he had a peaceful end than the one he was supposed to have a painful one as per the Shrap?

@jaya that was the last moment. The curse was you will understand putra viyog, and Dasrath when he rattles of to Kausalya says he now understands putra viyog, the pain. Yes he went through it. From Kaikeyi asking boons to his falling at Kausalya's chamber he suffered. That unbearable pain of having to send his son to 14 years vanvass

And that eyes closing scene I took as Lord Vishnu granting Moksha to Dasrath. Yes he is liberated.

Sumitra blasting kaikeyi was nice.. Kaushalya tried to stop it.. Once again matter taken by kaushalya..

Oh god 12 the is so tiring , syllabus is running like anything .
What I found in the episode is emotions cloud our intelligence and I think something like that happened with sumitra at one point of time .
But when it will rain , the sun would return .

Today's episode matched the thing I am going through , if u see dashrath was embarmed in an oil , so his body was not clearly visible .
Can we compare to illusion of death , for all of dashraths life he lived in illusion , in fear .
Today it was an illusion he was dead , because he was not , he was liberated
And doesn't he survive in each one of our minds , who proved the statement where there is love there is life .
