Kaikeyi never wanted to be abandoned by her husband. She always strived to be perfect wife.But today she heard the harsh reality from sumitra. That she is no longer a wife to her husband. Sumitra clearly differentiated hamara and tumhara.just like kaikeyi said apka ram aur mera Bharat. See how when you differentiate relations you are also differentiated. Now when sumitra was speaking Mandavi was nodding her head as if don't distinguish. Reason ousting kaikeyi is ousting Bharat from family and it is ousting her too.She never wanted power. She wanted family. Remember child mandavi who didn't want to go with her parents leaving her sisters behind. Chandrabagha wanted power but she couldn't coerce her daughter to leave relations. Today mandavi is in a similar position. Power has come to her. But she is losing relations. Girl doesn't want it but unlike in mithila she cannot do anything about it.Siya says live in the present. Will she do that once she is banished from ayodhya.

Oh god 12 the is so tiring , syllabus is running like anything .
What I found in the episode is emotions cloud our intelligence and I think something like that happened with sumitra at one point of time .

@DD they are taking the important points, but understand that it is now only even my mom sits and watches. Earlier she used to say it drags. Let us see how they take it. I still expect someone to ask Mandavi to convince Bharat to take the throne.

Because no one is going to accept his decision of not accepting the throne just like that. Even Vashist and all try to convince him telling kingdom needs king.

Poor Bharat. What a shock treatment. Only part 1. Ayodhya people angry with him no clue. When the guy reaches palace father's death. Now he will be given next shock .

One more thing on Mandavi. Kirti and Urmila were hugging each other and crying. But Mandavi was alone. Sumitra was by Kausalya side. Mandavi never wanted to be alone. As of now no one had told her anything. But based on Bharat's actions her fate will be decided. Whether she will be alone or part of family.

The point is Bharat there. Mandavi cant decision on her own. Even in childhood it was finally Janak who takes the decision for Mandavi and Kirti. Currently Mandavi's box is broken. Bharat didn't intend it. But the box is broken.

What a moment for Kaikeyi? On seeing the depart of Ram to van, she was assured to be the rajmata and even thought she can convince or win back her husband's love with her beauty and witty talks. the same was she did years back by saying she will not talk about his promise to her father and she can't stay away from him, she can't live with his hatred etc. So she was literally ready to swing her magic wand on her husband and at that moment she heard the unexpected and unbelievable news that her husband infact died and made her responsible for his death. How could he do that to her just because she asked for just a crown for her blood? How heartless can her husband become to think Bharath as different? why didn't he accepted with glee when she asked for a gift from him that instead of one son, the other shall be the king? Isn't Bharat his blood as well? Poor lady she tried to hold the sand in her fist too hard that everything started escaping in the possible exits.

yes Jaya that dialogue " Mein aa gayi hoon Maharaj" was classic. And another blow was when she says " Kya mera suhaag nahin" and Sumitra says " No, because he has banished you from being a wife for him".
