Part 28: Forms of God

In Lanka, everyone took part in the occasion with different thought process.

Ravan: Indra, I want to honor you and your devas.

Indra mind voice "Am I dreaming😕"

Meghanada: Pitashree....😲

Ravan showing a firm glance to Meghanada, turned to Indra: You and your colleagues can enjoy the feast after serving us. Today, Lanka ladies can join us in banquet while Indra and co will take charge of their duties.

Vayudev mind voice "Where are you? How long we have to bare this?"

Narada: Okay, Lanka naresh Ravan, your function went on well. I take leave from here.

Ravan: I won't ask you to serve. You can have the feast.

Narada (with a smile): Thank you. But yesterday, I had dinner in an ashram, which is still sufficient enough for me.

Ravan (laughingly): I know you rishis' strength.

Narada moved from the swarna mahal making a sign to Indra. When everyone moved towards the dining hall, Narada whispered to Indra.

Narada: Indra, you go and meet sage Sarabhanga after this function gets over.

Indra: You mean... Has he reached???

Narada: Just do this.

Ravan: Narada, what are you saying?

Narada: Nothing, Lankesh. Telling him that how to serve you.

Ravan: Oh.. Indra doesn't know even this.

After the feast, Ravan and all enjoyed the veena concert by various scholars in the field. Ravan finds the mistake in one veena player.

Meghanada: wow, pitashree. None can match you. Please perform the veena for us.

After much request from everyone, Ravan gives the Veena treat.😉

In Kailash, as usual Mahadev gets mesmerized by the music rendered by Ravan.

Ganesha: Matha, you have wasted your energy in penance.

Parvathi: What???

Ganesha: See, you should have got trained from Saraswathi matha in short time to play Veena.

Parvathi: 😲

In Lanka, once Ravan finished his veena treat, everyone praised him.

Malyavan: Ravan, you are the god of the universe.

Everyone hailed "Long live Lankanaresh Ravan"

In Dhadakaranya, the rain stopped.

Laxman: wow, what a beautiful petrichor!!!

Sita: It's the beauty of nature. Rain has no smell and so do the soil. But when the rain water drops on the porous surface, the pores form bubbles which release aerosols. These aerosols along with the bacteria and virus from soil give such a pleasant smell.

Laxman: Like my Ram bhaiya and Sita bhabhi.

Ram: Laxman ...(Turning towards Sita): Where you learned all this? By looking at nature?

Sita: Matha Gargi taught me about all living things including unicellular organisms from which the life existed. So I started focusing on this to know things in better terms.

Ram: Good. I am impressed.

Sita: Only just now?

Ram: I thought you know it even before I utter these words.

Sita: hmm... But I want to confirm it.

Ram: okay...

Sita: Clays across the lake will be good now to make idols. But we are vacating tomorrow.

Ram: Don't worry, Sita. Even near sage Sarabhanga asharam, we may get such clays. Laxman, what are you thinking?

Laxman: Bhaiya, when we travelled across many places, I found that the people worshipped different gods practicing different rituals. When god is one and can be seen with pure bhakthi, what's the need for various forms?

Ram: Laxman, who I am?

Laxman: You are my brother, the savior of dharm.

Ram (with a smile): Laxman, I am just not your brother. I am the grandson for our grandparents, son for our parents, brother for you all; student for guru, husband for Sita, Son-in-law for in-laws, jiju for Sita's sister and the list grows. Basically I, me the same individual is related to each one in different ways, then why not the almighty? There is no need that the god should be worshipped in one form and in one defined way. Yes, god is one and he/she is unique in each one's view.

Laxman: I understood.

Ram: what???

Laxman: I am with my god.

Ram: I didn't say so.

Laxman: It's my unique view.

Sita: One small correction.

Ram and Laxman (jointly): Here too?

Sita (with a smile): Laxman, your brother said that he is my husband but not just that. He is everything for me.

Laxman: Bhabhi, you are always correct.

Ram: Majority wins.

Part 29: Directed by the destiny

In Lanka, Indra tried by all means to go and meet Sage Sarabhanga but he was made as an object for enjoyment by Meghanada and his brothers.

Agastya and Lopamudra reached their ashram in the late night. Ram, Laxman and Sita packed everything and waited for the sunrise, to start their journey.

Devindra escaped from the clutches of Meghanada and tried to reach Sage Sarabhanga ashram.

Day dawn followed the path of Ram. Ram, Laxman and Sita walked few miles for several hours to reach Sage Sarabhanga ashram. Ram noticed someone looked divine talks with the sage at a distance.

Indra: Pranam, Rishi. I have come here to inform you an important matter.

Sarabhanga: I know that you won't come without a reason.

Indra: I came here to take you to Brahma lok for all punniya you gained in this birth.

Sarabhanga: No Indra, I am waiting here for divine darshan of Lord Vishnu in normal human form.

Indra: Okay, then your wait will be ended soon. For whom you waited all these years is going to come here.

Sarabhanga: Indra, What do you mean?

Indra: Rishi Sarabhanga, you direct him the path and he will do the rest.

Sarabhanga: Who I am to guide him?

Indra notied Ram approaching the ashram.

Indra: Sarabhanga, it's not the time to reveal everything. He doesn't know about his birth. Let us play only our role. I am moving because I don't want to disclose anything to ShriRam now.

Sarabhanga: Okay, let's do what he wishes.

Indra vanished from the ashram.

Laxman: Ram bhaiya, who is he? He looked so bright like the sun? Why he left after seeing you?

Ram: Laxman, from what our gurudev described I think he may be Indradev.

Laxman: But why he came here?

Ram: Wait Laxman, we have come here to meet the sage.

Sarabhanga: Welcome Ram, Sita and Laxman to this poorman's ashram.

Ram: Pranam rishi. Thanks for welcoming these poor people in your ashram.

Sita and Laxman also greeted the rishi with due respect.

Sarabhanga: ShriRam, I was waiting for all these years to meet you.

Ram: Rishi, may I know why you waited for me? Rishi Narada asked us to meet you and so we came here.

Sarabhanga mind voice "Oh, its all Rishi Narada's plan. Thank you Rishi Narada for allowing me to get moksha"

Sarabhanga: ShriRam, I heard about all your noble doings like liberating Ahalya from the curse, helped guru Vishwamitra in his yajna, killed tadka and other rakshasha who troubled helpless rishis and sadus, obeying your matha's words and disowning your rights and living in vanvaas and many more. I waited for your dharshan.

Ram: Rishi, I am much pleased to know that you know many things about me. But whatever I did was always as instructed by my guru, parents or by rishis. So if it's good the credit goes to them and if it's wrong, it means I have misunderstood it somewhere.

Sarabhanga: ShriRam, your words shows who you are.

Ram: Rishi, Can I know the person to whom you talked when we came here? He seems to be celestial person in a divine chariot.

Sarabhanga: ShriRam, he is Indradev. He came here to take me to Brahmalok but I denied it.

Ram: Sorry to ask, but why you denied it?

Sarabhanga (with a smile): I thought to use my puniya for a good cause. Now, accept all my puniya so that my soul may rest in peace.

Ram, Laxman and Sita are astounded to hear these words from Sage.

Ram: Rishi, what you are saying?

Sarabhanga: ShriRam, everything comes to an end. But the end should be some turning point or some worth factor for others.

Sarabhanga gave his puniya to Ram by chanting slogas. Ram thanked the sage.

Sarabhanga: ShriRam, you go and meet sage Suteekshna.

Sarabhanga kindles the fire and enters into it.

Ram: Oh almighty, may he get moksha.

Laxman: Ram bhaiya, when matha Ahalya suffered for uncommitted sin of her's, this Indra is roaming freely.

Ram: Laxman, who knows whether Indra is roaming freely or roaming to be freed?

Sita looked unhappy.

Ramya, you are so right in mentioning "Indra may be roaming to be freed". If not why would he come to the sage to take him to Bramha? he thought by doing that he will earn some Punya from the sage but bad luck is always follows him. In SKR they showed him to take the disguise of Peacock to hide from Ravan, but from what I have heard about the story, he was cursed to take that form as was always fascinated by women and was cheating them to get his way, he had to flaunt himself his wings with multiple eyes (????) to attract female rather he going behind them. Unless he pleases the peahen, he can't be satisfied or he needs to stay unsatisfied through out his life trying hard to get attention.
