Rama's first words to Sita about Rajpath being a tough path and it could come between their love was fine. The rest about 'aajeevan kathinayian' part was not necessary I felt.
It seemed so negative when embarking on a new journey.

Manthara was good as the serial vamp, creating doubts in Kaikeyi's mind about Ram and Kaushslya's fake love for her and all..

Kushaasan scene was good and Sita's happiness seemed so natural. Good acting by Madirakshi.

Aparna

Don't give too much credit to dialogue writers. Rama said 'sarvathaa hamare beech'. Why sarvathaa?

Today Ashish had a very hard time doing the sankalp in sanskrit. Why not make priests recite something relevant. He said he is doing deva puja in sanskrit. Then the vows that vashishta asked were said in hindi.

This is ramayan. There has to be a level. suddenly they use words like 'baraabar'. Or muskura rahi hain(today). Next line will be sanskritised hindi again. So random.

yes, sayin abt kathinaiyan and pariksha not needed. There are always king and queens. It was like givin a hint or signal to viewers abt future tracks...but dat was not really needed as right now, it is about cornation and Ram taking over the kingdom...
I agree abt Madirakshi...her acting is just flawless these days...the glow, the happiness, and the contentment seen on Sita's face is just a treat to watch👏

Today's Rama-Sita scenes were beautiful. Liked how they were remembering all their encounters, words spoken etc.. If Sita said it all yesterday, today it was Rama who poured his heart out. He assured Sita which Saint Thyagaraja wrote about 'oka maata, oka baanamu, oka patni, vratude manasa'

Finally Manthara got through to Kaikeyi. Her point about why all this is happening in Bharat's absence and the promise made to Kaikeyi's father was fine, but did not like the reference about the childhood scene and Dasaratha's dialogue to Kaikeyi when she puts the crown on Bharat's head.

As Ravan makes himself invincible and is more and more convinced that nobody in the world can hurt him, the path to his end is getting ready in the form of Rama's vanvaas.

Appu, the flashback was surely an add on just to make a point. I agree that it was in bad taste. Why would King Dasharath even say something like that? 😕 they just wanted to justify Kaikeyi's change of mind and Dasharath as usual took a hit..
Manthara's machinations worked finally. While both Dasharath and kaikeyi will be swayed by their Putra moh, kaikeyi's moh with its underlying streak of selfishness for herself to stay in power will ruin her husband.
She will be called rightly as her mother's daughter bringing infamy.🥱

Rama poured out his feelings to Sita. They went down the memory lane on how this started. Rama wanting to say all this on the big day was nice. The scene was truly beautiful. A very subtle, gentle relationship. Anyonya, Anupama and Ananya Prema.

But the line that he may not be able to say this later was not in the right place. Sita is his shadow by now. He won't be able to express this in any way?

Makers went on a routine serial route. Where protagonists say and confess just before something big happens. And to mean the opposite is going to happen. In this case, Rama will get to spend lot of time with Sita. They already spent quite some time. And 13 plus years of togetherness!!

But this is no ordinary serial.

I sometimes wonder on whose story is this. Rama-Sita's or Ravana's. Ravana's track is very important. But in that detail? And with Rama and Sita, one family lunch, Dasharatha gets sick and coronation announcement.

And Sarvathaa seems to be the favorite word. Even Ravana's grandfather said it today.

As expected today was all about the rise of Kaikeyi's evil twin. Manthara succeeded in her twisted plan. Quite dragged I felt, but maybe understandable for it is the brainwashing of a basically good hearted person. One thing I noticed was Kaushslya's expression when Ram and Dasarath were wondering where Kaikeyi was. She seemed to show an awareness of something being off.

Dasarath's talk with Vashisht about Putra prapti ki lalach mein Vachan dediya.. even now it is quite common to make similar promises to God be it for a child or job or health. Important is to fulfill that no matter what it is that you have promised.

Liked how Ram observes the praja and sees the 2 men with garlands.
