It was a strange sequence, as dasarath and everyone else were never shown in same shot with Ram bathing nor in narad muni scene...and I wish they would have bought mohit n sonarika as shiv n parvathi

true, but the actors who are playing the roles of shiva parvati here in skr are also good.

The bathing rituals execution was done incorrectly and the cgi was inconsistent. That is why we had Bharath and Lakshman standing together one sec and Bharath and Shatrugnan bump into Maandvi the next.
The main reason the sisters were therected was to have a reason for Maandvi s ire towards Bharath. That is hurried writing without completely thinking things through.

However having said that, there was no concept of bathrooms in those days and all took bath in common rivers and ponds and lakes. Even today in villages this happens. As it is the most common thing, it is not noticed as something to be embarrassed about. They go about bathing and washing without paying the slightest attention to anything else.

^^ I am sure the princes and princesses had different bathing quarters though. Palaces had bath chambers, and servants usually heated water on bricks or coal and there would be some kind of large urn that served as the bathtub. It was a long drawn out process, but yes, everyone else bathed in rivers.

Indian culture was rich but still kings and prince who prayed in the morning to sun god took a bath in holy water. As far as haldi rasam is concerned ...as ram was staying with vishwamitra in ashram he had nature at his discreet and no bath chambers or nahan ghar...
By the way in my culture in small towns after haldi the boy is poured water from well .

Anyways i was rofl after finding a spoileralert for SKR. So unpredictable it has become ..hehe

I don't understand what's the need for this useless marriage drama concerning Mandavi-Bharat. It's dragging, unnecessary and not to mention, yawn-inducing. None of the Sita siblings hold my interest and its mainly due to the acting skills (or lack of) of the actors donning the roles. Also, the creatives really need to look into the rampant usage of Urdu/Persian lingo ASAP. It mars the viewing experience manifold.

Yep, 100% agree

Urmila is the only one of the sisters that I think is worth watching. I didn't like her much during the whole snake episode. But after that, I've started liking her and Lakshman scenes.

But still nothing like Sita-Ram's acting skills. .
