wah, today was Lakshman's day!
He totally stole the show, and was adorable!
I am sorry but Sudesh Beri as Parshuraam was total cacophonix
Why did he have to scream so awfully to depict fury?
And I don't like Ravanas dubbed voice, the original was better and more impactful
Ok, rant khatam, now let's move on to the episode ...
You know I had read somewhere on this forum a post on why should Rama be considered a God?
He never did any miracles, or any extraordinary feats!
Well today for one Shankar ji and Parvati answered that question - so that he can show us the right conduct and behaviour at every step of our life!
And it got me thinking about how difficult is that! Very, I realised. And that's the strength of Rama - to always always maintain your goodness of nature, to be above, fear, anger , ego and any negative emotion - to always chose the right path - it is really superhuman!
Today's episode was another beauty, parshuramas cacophony notwithstanding
The whole palace, including Vishwamitra and Janak, stood afraid of parshurama, and tried to appease him,
Yet these two fearless Kumars stood unafraid, the hot tempered lakshmana and the cool and composed Rama .
if Parshurama, who is used to Kshatriyas cowering in fear before him, was annoyed by Lakshman's audacity, it the elder Dashratha nandans fearless composure that unnerved him!
Rama stood before him, looking at him straight in the eye, with that half smile of his, paying no head to all the vile threats that had the entire palace in shivers.
He offered no apology for his action, beyond saying, I am sorry if I have hurt your feelings - not sorry for breaking the dhanush - only for parshuramas hurt feelings
He also gave utmost respect to Parshuraam, but without in anyway weakening his own conviction in the righteousness of his own action!
He even had the temerity to tell the mighty Parshuraam what his acharan as a great Rishi should be !
That's when we learned another lesson from Rama - if you are right, don't cover up or apologise for your actions, never back down to intimidation and learn to stand your ground!
So, a good episode, today's star was lakshmana,
Ashish - he's just getting better and better with each episode - he was awesome as usual!
Aaj ke epi ko 8/10, Sudesh Beri ke screaming act ko 5/10, lakshmana ji ko bhi 8/10, aur Rama ji ko full 10/10!
