Mass media's quite a popular option for career. Ab sirf doctors and engineers ko hi izzat nahi milti, sabko milti hai. Channel ki hi galti hai, when their creative team and heads are all seniors who are still living in the 2000s toh aur kya ho sakta hai πŸ˜†

My mother's also switched to regional and Pakistani shows now. Now she's looking to cancel the cable subscription πŸ˜†

ITV heads seriously lack vision, which is what drove away our age group in the first place. If they don't do anything within the next few years then its bad.

I had my own issues with some of the writing in the first half, especially in regards to the supernatural element, but let's agree to disagree πŸ˜† post leap I think we are in a consensus what we thought of it though 🀣

They need to hire new folks fast 🀣 the writer that's listed under Sirf Tum's wikipedia page was also on the Madhubala writing team, also according to the wiki πŸ˜† unless that information is wrong.

Their current vision is to remake shows πŸ˜† and that's bringing so many numbers that I doubt they will deviate from it that soon. It's not looking good either way πŸ˜†

PKYEK was a vanilla version of TVD πŸ˜† So the focus was only on college romance...with a bit of Abhay's supernatural powers πŸ˜† There were many loopholes but at least it has repeat value! Post leap doesn't exist for me πŸ˜†

Writers and channels have to update themselves. Purana formula is now illogical and puts off a lot of potential audience.

If this continues then ITV will die out, given there are other available options...and I am not even crossing the subcontinent when I say this πŸ˜†

Fair enough πŸ˜† I wanted more equal focus but that didn't happen so I was left unsatisfied after reflecting over the years, though I will agree that it was better than post leap

Sometimes I wonder if the writers are actually this bad or are they doing this intentionally on channel pressure? πŸ˜† on top of that the aunty audience is reinforcing them by giving them numbers

I'm watching a kdrama as I type this and I really want to see VD in a show in these weekly styles. Though kdramas have their own small issues, the cinematography and stories are way better. And that's just one country too. I want to recommend an indian show to my friends for once πŸ˜†

yeah their fiction starts off okay then takes a deep dive, finite or not. Again this to me points to the need for better writers πŸ˜† where are they? or are we still in a situation where learning writing for an education is still frowned upon over something like engineering or medicine? πŸ˜†

they don't have any brains. it doesn't surprise me since they don't care about online TRPs at all πŸ˜† outside the non-Hindi speaking demographic means online viewing πŸ˜† and yeah there is no indian tv show I would ever show to anyone in my friend circle πŸ˜† I am more likely to recommend a kdrama to them nowadays

Ekta ki sirf ik hi show shuru se aant tak best hai aur voh PKYEK hai
