Maunal OS - Dhundh Lia (Alternate ending)

After dropping Mauli and Mishti off at the airport to stop Ishaan, Kunal went back to his car where Pari was waiting for him. She had insisted on accompanying them to the airport as she did not want even a moment of separation from her buddy now after reuniting with him. However, he was reluctant to take her inside the airport as he did not want the poor girl's heart to break as she wanted Mauli aunty as her mom. So he dropped Mauli and Mishti off outside the main gate of the airport and rejoined Pari.
Pari saw Kunal coming towards her. She was puzzled. She could see traces of unshed tears in her buddy's red eyes. Why was Buddy crying? He came to her and directly hugged her tight and sobbed. Pari was stunned. She hugged him back lightly and tried to comprehend the reason. 'Buddy? ' she hesitatingly asked. 'Shh princess.. Just let me be. Give me a minute. ' and he hugged her and cried harder. Pari let him cry, using her small hands to wipe his tears when he finally pulled back. 'Buddy mai janti hu.. Aap sad ho na kyuki Mauli aunty aur Mishti chale gaye.. Aap unse bahut pyar karte ho na. ' She said softly. Kunal looked at her, stunned for a moment. Then he wiped his tears and smiled. 'Mera baccha itna bada ho raha hai itni jaldi.. Bahut badi badi baate karti ho Tum Pari. Chalo ghar chalo der hori hai beta.' He lifted her up in his arms and made her sit in the car before driving off, unconscious of the eyes of 2 people who were keenly watching them.
Pari and Kunal reached their apartment. The door sprang open easily. Kunal frowned. How did he forget to lock the door? He was becoming more and more careless these days. He led Pari in and closed the door behind them and sank down on the couch, his head in his hands. Pari put a hand on his shoulder. 'Buddy. ' she whispered. Kunal finally lost control and broke down completely, hugging her tight to his chest. ' I only have you Pari.. Only you. I lost Mauli and Mishti again. All due to my own fault and wrongs. And you know what, I'm glad they are with Ishaan now. Someone who deserves their love. Someone who will never leave them like I did. Someone who will love them more than I could. He is a great guy Pari. I owe him a lot. He took care of both my daughters when I couldn't. I owe him.. I should thank him myself. I'm glad for Mauli and Mishti. Now they will finally get the happy ending they deserve. Without me. That's great, hai na Pari?' He held Pari's face through his restless rant and tears.
Pari's eyes, however, had gone wide and she looked in shock. She didn't respond. Kunal was worried. 'Pari kya hua? ' he whispered but before Pari could reply a voice called out. 'To tumhe laga tum firse humei chod ke chale jaoge aur hum tumhe jaane denge.' Kunal was stunned. His body trembling hard, he turned. Mauli and Mishti stood together in the living room. 'Kya hua? Chauk gaye? Tumhe laga humse picha chuta, hai na?' Mauli whispered as she stepped towards him. Kunal's tears didn't stop. 'Mauli..' he whispered, pinching himself. 'Ouch. ' he winced and realized this was real. Mauli laughed a bit as she continued to go towards him. Pari and Mishti had already hugged and had their reunion. Mauli stepped in front of Kunal and Mishti joined her. At once, they both hugged Kunal.
Kunal was in shock. Very hesitantly he hugged them back. 'Mauli.. Mishti.. ' he said through his tears. Mishti wiped off his tears. 'Shh papa.. Rote nahi. Chup ho jao ' Hearing the word papa from Mishti for which he was craving since the moment he knew she was his daughter undid him. He fell to his knees and hugged Mishti tight. 'Mera baccha.. I'm so sorry my baby for everything I did. Mujhe pata hota to mai aapko kabhi chod ke nahi jaata but fir v galti Meri hai..im so sorry baby I'm so sorry.. I will try my best to make it up to you.. ' He hugged and continuously kissed her as he cried. Mauli and pari looked on in awe. Finally he released Mishti and turned towards Mauli. 'Mauli.. Tum log yaha? Ishaan..?' Mauli just smiled at him and told Mishti and Pari to go play in the other room. The girls happily ran off.
Mauli then turned to Kunal. 'Ishaan se milna.. Usse sab kuch clear Karna aur use thanks bolna Zaruri tha.. Usne bahut kiya hai hamare liye Kunal. ' Kunal was confused. 'Kya? ' he asked. Mauli laughed. 'Buddhu kahi ke..firse repeat karu sab ab?' Kunal was still confused. 'Mauli, tum Ishaan ke sath kyu nahi gayi? ' Mauli sighed and sat down on the sofa. 'Kyuki mai usse pyar nahi karti. Kisi aur se karti hu. ' Kunal's heart beats increased. 'K.. Kisse? ' He whispered. Mauli stood up and came close to him, placing her hands on his chest. 'Hai ek.. Mera Pehla aur ek lauta pyar.. Dr Kunal Malhotra. ' she whispered huskily. Kunal's hands tightened on her waist. 'Mauli..I..I.. I love u Mauli. Pls Mujhe maaf kardo.. Mai maafi ke layak nahi hu par fir bhi mang raha hu.. Tumhe chodna meri zindagi ki sabse badi galti thi.. Jo mujhe baad mei samjh aaya. When I lost you I lost myself. Kho gaya tha mai Mauli. Itne salo baad tumne wapas dhundh liya mujhe. Life was hell without you all these years Mauli. Pari was my only consolation. I'm so sorry for everything I did to u..pls give me a chance to make it right. Just one chance Mauli I beg you. ' He fell to his knees and hugged her waist tightly. Mauli was by now crying too and lifted him back up . ' Kunal.. Kunal i love u too. Aur idhar chance dene hi to aai hu.. To give us a second chance..tumhare bina mai bhi adhuri thi kunal.. Aur maine tumhe kaha tha na.. Tum kho jaoge to mai tumhe dhundh lungi..dhundh liya Kunal. ' she caressed his face. Kunal held hers too and at that moment both hugged each other in the tightest grip possible, pouring out their tears and love. When they finally pulled back, they looked into each other's eyes. Mauli leaned in first and kunal followed. Their lips met in a soft and sweet kiss which was wet with their tears. They both smiled against each other and leaned their foreheads together and smiled again.
At that moment Mishti, Pari, Radhika and Dida emerged from their rooms. Kunal was stunned. 'Ma.. Dida.. Aap log bhi yahi the? '
'To kya mauli aa gai to bhagana chahta hai humei? Had hai na biji' Radhika pretended to be miffed and they all laughed. Dida looked at maunal and wiped her tears. 'I'm so happy for u both. Jio puttar. Mujhe pata tha saccha pyar ant mei jeet hi jaata hai. ' She blessed them and they hugged her together. 'Arre bhai..hum kyu piche rahe..aa jao Baccho' Radhika said and she, Pari and Mishti joined in the tight family hug. In between the hug, Kunal and Mauli glanced at each other and smiled. They had finally found love, happiness and themselves again. Life was good again.
