I can see this perfect family concept being used a lot in Silsila these days. Can some one explain to me what it means in Silsila world? Is it only a wife husband and two kids? If yes that why wasn't this concept used when Kunal wanted to leave Mauli for Nandini. Kunal was very much ready that his child to be will be brought by Nandini and Mauli. It was Nandini who forced Kunal to go back. But Kunal didn't care about the perfect family concept. Is it just because now the woman has a choice that the perfect family concept is being pushed down our throat? Kunal willingly and happily divorced Mauli and married Nandini, how can he and Mauli ever be a perfect family? When Dida is going around saying that you love only once in life has she forgotten that Kunal left them for his true love who wasn't his wife at that time? Or is this rule again only for a woman? For me perfect family is where people care about each other selflessly and stand by each other . Like Dida, Mauli , Radhika and Mishti were. Stood by each other during their worst times. How can Kunal be a perfect family with them when he left all 3 of them for Nandini and started making babies with her? Would this perfect family concept be still shown if Mauli was the one who had had an affair and it was her child with her lover that Kunal had to father? I don't think so.

Oh yes...ex cheater husband, his child with his mehebooba and you and your daughter...now that is perfect to me.

Ab Kunal ke paas yeh sab nahi tha na. All he had was a good wife and an unborn child. Its so traditional, not at all progressive. Sayed isilye it wasnt enough for Kunal. We all know how progressive he is in his feelibgs and relationships.

I am more interested in knowing what would the perfect family comprise of if Nandini were alive.

And Yes Dida s rule is true for women only that they love only once. Her grandson can find true love whenever he wants to.

Dida showed how manipulative and selfish she can be.
I wish ishaan had overheard her talking to kids in his house like that.
His misti also ditching him.

The whole malhotra blood has cheating and selfishness in their blood.
From bhudiya to kunal to bacche all.

Lets see if mauli belongs to the same clan.

maybe if nandini was alive then Dida will want Kunal...his 2 children ..both wives and she and radhika all staying together ..because it's absolutely fine that Kunal bedded another woman while married to Mauli, then humiliated her, abandoned his unborn child, considered unborn mishty a burden on his relationship with nandu, then verbally abused Mauli and left her pregnant and Alone and went off honeymooning with nandu.. it's fine because kunal is her precious grandson,.

The show is showing reality. Selfish people like Dida take good human beings like Ishaan for granted. No wonder Kunal is her grandson. Both are selfish to the core. Selfish & manipulative.

I definitely dont think so. You can already see that Kunal's way of dealing with Mauli cheating is quite different than Mauli's way of cheating - though Dadi remains a constant, she is simply trying to ship MauNal together due to her traditional thoughts. What she did today was quite under the belt if you ask me. She refuses to see Mauli's pain. She refuses to see her suffering - and that Pari is not her responsibility. 2 more episodes and we will know the truth.

Also, I hated how selfish Dida was today - just for her son and her grand daughter, she literally abused the trust Ishan placed on her by lending them his fiance.

Just to justify Juzzbaat, today they made Mishti who loved Popsie, and has been there for her ever since she can remember also accept Blood Is Thicker Than Water. Writers ki Jai ho...
What if Mauli and Ishan get married - has not Dida screwed Mishti's mind forever? Girl will forever be confused. I hate when elders do this to kids.

Totally agree! Dida had no business going and brainwashing the kids like that. If she wants to think that in her own mind and pray for that, that's fine, but she shouldn't go and shove her ideals down Mishti's throat. Poor Mishti is going to be so confused now about what is right and what is wrong.
