Children make mistakes and Kunal has made a huge mistake but does that mean parents emotions die esp a mother's emotions?

I don't expect anything from Mauli but Radhika was Kunal's mother. Her reaction was so underwhelming. Is it the actor's fault or the director? IDK

But what a bakwass reaction!

Dida reaction was even more pathetic.
