I'm a silent member for many reasons. One of them being that I joined iF when I was a teenager and realized that the fellow forum members of the show I used to watch were more into their favorite couple/on screen pairing than they were into the storyline. My first major stand/post on IF was when in an Ekta Show the male lead slapped the female lead and it didn't go down well with me but so many other forum members were okay with it because the male lead was "dreamy" "handsome" etc. That is when I realized how many people forget to disassociate the actor from the character.
I think the best of actors are those who portray a character in such a manner where we don't see the actor at all when watching the show, movie etc. The best of actors are the ones where they can portray 100% the character and 0% of themselves as an actor. We forget who is playing the role and get submerged into only the character.

I also think the best of viewers are those who watch the show, movie, etc. without any biases for their favorite couple, actor, etc. They are submerged in the storyline from the characters and storyline point of view. A great example of this is Ranveer-Deepika in Padmavaat. How many people were rooting for Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavaati to be together, solely because they ship Ranveer-Deepika? I would hope and assume none.

That is how I feel about "Maunal" or "Shaditi". Sure they pair well on screen. Sure Mauli and Kunal had an amazing marriage in the first few episodes of Silsila. But as a viewer and woman, can I really say I want them together solely because of their electrifying chemistry? No. Not with the way the storyline is portrayed and being presented.

These characters are 1D characters and a figment of the writers imagination. The actors try their best to bring them to life but can only do so much, if the writing is bad. Fans tend to analyze every intense look the actor gave and read it for something, that perhaps it is not.

That being said, Kunal has taken endearing actions towards uniting Ishaan and Mauli. That is great. Give credit when it is due. But he still hasn't apologized for the EMA or done anything which hints towards him regretting it.

How many remember that even after he found out about Mauli's pregnancy and Nandini asked him to go back to Mauli, he once said to Nandini, that he can still be a good father/hands on father without being with Mauli? Or the amount of times he told Mauli that he is no longer her Kunal, that he loves Nandini, that he hasn't done anything wrong because we can't control who we love (the whole divine love)?

That being said, I don't want a Maunal reunion. Nor do I want Mauli to stay alone. I think it takes more strength to fall in love again and begin to trust someone again, and that is why I truly hope the writer steers the story line towards Mauli falling in love with Ishaan.

And I hope that Ishaan too sets his mother and Sweetie in place so that Mauli can reunite with Radhika and Dida (obviously not live with them, but reunite with them and continue to have them in her life).

As for the rest of the relationships (Mishti-Kunal, Pari-Mauli) I hope they end on good terms as well.

I would love Mauli Ishaan Mishti to finally end up having a happy family together and Kunal Pari and the Malhotra clan to be together.. Mishti and Pari to have sisterly love for each other even if they are far off. Kunal to have an amicable relation with Mishti and cordial with Mauli and Ishaan - Yes I am building castles here 😆

But I loved how you have played ur thoughts here.. last ke 3-4 points padke dil ko bada sukoon mila.. sacchi.. 😆

Haha thank you, I don't believe in revenge or anything but I just wanted Kunal to have a taste of his own medicine.

I hate it when these shows drag to the wedding day and then there's a sudden change of heart and Bride or groom swapping occurs. I want a more realistic closure. Mauli has already suffered enough. She has now accepted Ishaan and decided to marry him. I want Kunal to recover and even though he realises he still cares for Mauli he must stay silent. He must encourage Mauli and Ishaan to marry. I want to see a grand Ishaan Mauli wedding, I even want the show to end with Mauli having another baby ..maybe a little boy and she , Ishaan mishty and baby living happily. And I would like to see Kunal happy with pari and his mom and Dida and maybe meet a new woman ...who can make him happy...so everyone happy in the end ..😊

I also don't agree with bride or groom swaps at the mandap, that makes it too rushed of a decision. Realistically, people don't make decisions like that. But that being said, Mauli is the type of person who would want to please other people before herself, I've even heard people on the forum call her jagat mata. 😆 And she's also slow with emotions. So I thought it would be consistent with her character for her to realize at the last moment that she truly loves Ishaan, have an epiphany of sorts. Also, this would be a slap in the face of Kunal as well because it would turn the tables on him. Kunal would be in the exact same position he had left Mauli on years ago.

I really do not get why they have to kill Kunal off. There is an ending where Kunal can apologize to Mauli and give her that closure to move on and she really does not have to be with Ishaan to prove she is happy.
I find Ishaan a bit clingy tbh and this whole leaving your in laws thing is outdated. Dida and Radhika supported her through thick and thin and its stupid to do this on the behest of some insecure cow like Ishaan mother.

They can be single and be happy and the ending should be Kunal getting to know Mishti and making up for past failures. I know people hate Nandini but why does poor pari have to be orphaned!

This is serial, so why you ask what the best ending or what we want ending in the drama. It's like a life... People don't have any right to interven your life... This is should be unpredict.
People don't have any right to set it.
Oke but, it's what i thought... If the ending can be predict i think this drama/serial not interesting again.

How do you guys the show should end? Please vote and share your thoughts in the comments.

Personally, this is how I want it to play out:
1) Mauli finds out what Kunal did while he was alive to reunite her and Ishaan
2) Kunal turns up alive in the hospital in critical condition
3) Mauli feels guilty and heartbroken seeing his condition
4) Kunal apologizes to Mauli tells her he's always loved her and asks her to take care of Pari
5) Kunal recovers
6) Ishaan decides to back off from marriage and asks Maunal to get married
7) Maunal are siting at the mandap about to get married when Mauli realizes she's in love with Ishaan
8) Mauli cancels the wedding, rejecting Kunal
9) Ishaali love confession and marriage
10) Happy ending 😊

It would be too filmy. But I'd love if point no 7 plays out in the show. There's something beautifully poetic about realizing you are in love with your 'friend' , while you're sitting in mandap about to get married to your cheater ex husband. And when you're about to take the pheras, you break the gathbandhan and run off in your bridal wear and reach the airport, where heartbroken ishaan is about to move abroad. You stop him, jump into his arms and finally confess that you're in love with him. In the background, mishti is smiling seeing her parents happy and then the 3 hug each other .The end 😆

My dream scenario 😆😆

I cant believe I have found a show wherd I want this to happen. Most of the times I hate this trope because the guy at the mandap is an innocent man. But here yes, would be nice.

But any way to keep Mouli way from Kunal's saya is a good way for me.

Lol yeah and add to that channa mereya playing in the background while mauli is sitting in the mandap and Ishaan is driving to the airport, crying. Mishti can see that her mother is not happy without her popsie and accompanies mauli to the airport, now with teri deewani playing in the background 😆😆

Perfect Polo! 😆
Waise bhi Ishaan is quite good at throwing filmy lines at Mauli.. so why not a filmy milan for them 😆 Along with Mishti, we all will be at the airport cheering loudly for them 😳 😆
