Bajirao-Mastani's this dialogue delivered brilliantly by priyanka fits so well ..
Mauli was just like kashibai...perfect in all senses and tremendously in love with his husband but what did she get in return tag of being a perfect wife but not the divine love of her husband...

Yeah people do remember only divine love couples..Bajirao Mastani, Kunal Nandini...
They do sympathize with Kashibai and Mauli but they are just supportive characters not the lead ones...

It is so easy to say for kunal that he truly loved mauli, it was not a lie..
It is so easy for Bajirao to say that mastani and kashibai is same for him but the fact is things are not the same..They didn't break a relationship, they broke identity, belief, confidence, dreams and happy memories for someone...What they did is worst than killing someone...and the most disturbing fact is they justify their act by saying that love happens, they have no control over it..When they don't have control over their emotions how do they expect from their wives that they can control their love according to horrific situation created by them...

Love is blind, deaf and dumb but Love is also selfish, biased and careless feeling...Love is that emotion that make terrorist, rapist, murderer and molesters...Love is just like fire if you use it for warmness it's bliss but it can destroy your world if you get unnecessarily driven by it...
love is a blessing when it is attached with kindness and humanity...but when it gets attached with passion and selfishness it is just deleterious...

When kunal was attached to mauli..he was loving, caring, understanding..Respectful
His attachment with Nandini..was opposite...

Yeah it was allowed but it was just a sad rule of male dominating world...At that time meaning of equality, tradition, law, culture, and society may be different from today, but emotions were just same...
no one can stand another person in their partner's life at any circumstances..if they does it because of rules and tradition, they are just adjusting not happily agreeing to it..The difference is today's society gives you a right to say no to adjustments unlike those times(sadly not true in many cases till now).

I had made a post on this parallel some 4 months ago when affair was on peak. In BM, Kashibai stole everyone's attention despite being a so called side character. Even here, Mauli was supposed to be A side kick but became the main character to focus on.
I never liked Mastani there and sided with Kashi who suffered because of the so called divine love. And same goes here.

I don't give a hoot for such divine love at all. If your so called love wrongs someone, it can't be divine. It is very much human.

Only certain men cheat. There's lots of good men out there who are wonderful husbands and fathers and who love their wives completely and have decades of happy married life. And we women are lucky when our husbands are those wonderful men. But sadly you get the men who just aren't satisfied with that one woman, even if she is a good wife, mother and daughter in law, even if she is beautiful, educated and classy ( like in Maulis case ), it will still not be enough for these men and they will want another woman 😭

I was also annoyed at the divinity they try to show.. bull crap.. and poor love child has to bear the brunt in future.
