Mauli does every thing on her own ?? I don't think so . Had taht been the case , when Mishti said she hates her and she's a bad mother , she shouldn't have taken to deal with this situation through Ishaan's help. She should've said no, it's my daughter . I'll deal with her. Even Radhika and Dadi depend on Ishaan now , when it comes to taking care of Mishti and Mauli . Remember that " Chinta maat kar.. Ishaan gaya hai sath mein.. Sambhal lega." ?? by Dida to reassure Radhika.
She's not above using Ishaan to show Kunal , look I've moved on and now have a happy family. She wasn't above playing along when Kunal misunderstood Ishaan as Mauli's husband and Mishti's father , Simply because it served her need to keep her secret. Had she been so much self-dependent why use another man to hide it from your ex husband that you've a daughter from her ??
But Ishaan came to mauli's life 3 years back, in fact the scene you described proves it all the more the kind of role zishaan has grown into with time. Of course if it's about Mishti , Ishaan will go . That's the kind of relationship they share now- their current status . I'm sure this is how it was when Ishaan just entered their life. Which means it's a bond grown over time.
@bold: this is exactly my problem. Mouli was very independent, she still is. But tha doesnt mezn Ishaan hasnt been helpibg, supporting, being there for her. If mouli wanted to do things all by herself, sure thzts allowed. Encourage even. But now that Kunal hzs spoken few good words, people are nullyfying role of Ishaan in Mishti and Mouli's life.
Ishaan has been very clear since his introduction about his intentions and feelings: he loves Mouli and Mishti and wants be a big happy family. Mouli is the one who is uncertain. Ishaan gave Mouli the time (years) to think and we can assume he didnt push her because up untill Kunzl showed up she was takibg her time. So, she didnt say yes because Ishaan was pushing or because she felt indepted to Ishaan for everything he has done.
So, when Mouli agreed to marry Ishaan, Ishaan assumed that she wzs ready to become an actual family. And he is allowefd to thinkwhats best for, what he considers is, his family If Mouli still didnt want Ishaan to make decisions about Mishti theb why keep saying him he will be the great father of Mishti?
Like its fine for Mouli to raise Mishti on her own, though bit sad that she will live all her life alone and without any companion. For all the talk of reality, we are forgetting this a real women, a young one at that, who has all of her life ahead of her. And people keep claiming veing single is the best option for her. even in villages young widows get remarried. Need for companionship is a real thing. And it doesnt make you any less independent.
