It was so balanced with all right questions pondered over!!!
-What if Rajdeep is lying, but what if it is true?
- What if Mauli;s didn't even get the chance to tell Kunal the truth?
- What if Mauli is really pregnant, then what happens to the affair?

That's the conflict I have always wanted to see.

Good makers brought it on Nandini's part.

Kunal too should have a similar alter-ego scene too.

But, felt very bad to hear the dialogues of Nandini today during that scene. Why they want to describe or name the obstacle that comes in their way as some 'grahan', especially the unborn child[even if it's true or fake]??? Can't they used some other alternate dialogues or words to describe the situation???
Frankly, was annoyed with Nandini's dialogues and can't help it just reminded me how much Mauli was happy when she came to know that Nandini was pregnant that time.

For a grey character, she would think like that only.

She would think about a good part for sometime but she would also show the trait of being selfish in that moment.

She would think about the child but she would also call it a grahan on her part. That's how I see it.

Of course people won't like it, but that's exactly how grey-characters work & think.

Mauli was genuinely happy. Nandini wouldn't be genuinely happy here since Mauli's pregnancy would mean possibility of Kunal going away.

Nandini is not supposed to be liked at the end of the day because of her grey traits. For the first time, I have seen a grey trait in this woman. Otherwise she is on extremes.

I don't think there could be right words for this situation than what were already shown. Anyone in her position would that only. Even if something had happened to Kunal's family, even then she should have been using terms like that only to truly show her grey traits, like how his family is ruining her happiness. Selfishness & no regard for other is the gray of human beings.

Nandini- a mistress & a second woman who wants to have Kunal by her side at the end of the day would refer to a child as a grahan only, since that's what it is for her. Of course she would think, NOT AGAIN? There is no sugar-coating to what she should be feeling in that position as a second woman.

Nandini has gotten past the friendship point. At this moment, she is just a second woman & Kunal's lover who happened to be Mauli's friend once. Great that they are showing her the way she is- selfish, conniving.

Nandini is the character that is meant to be hated, no matter what anyone says & her dialogues are doing justice to it. Even if she again goes to sacrificial mode, even then she would be hated all the more. Her inability to stick to any of her decision is what makes her so spiteful.

What angered me today was the point where Nandini demanded answer from Mauli. She has no right to call & ask that question from her.

actually what u are saying is right if we consider her as a grey character but writers think that she is a little selfish sometimes but is a good human being.. i know its funny.. but they keep doing such things again and again.. she has some kind of syndrome i think.. gajni effect to nahi kahi.. 😆 she forgets her all promises to herself and to others in few hours..
writers want her to behave like pyaar me majboor insaan but they dont want people to hate her so they keep telling her to sacrifice one day and behave selfish the other day .

yup she has no right on mauli.. but she will behave that she is concerned for mauli..i am sure she will tell her that she cant do injustice to the unborn and worries for mauli. blah blah..

Use of word "Grahan" was a perfect balance of good and bad in her like grahan is light and dark together.

In one way, she is sad as she knows that her happiness is gone because of the child (the bad in her, the selfishness) but on the other side she is also acknowledging that now she cannot have that happiness even if she wants to because of the child as the good in her will not let the father be away from the child.

It also describes her, like grahan is play of light and dark, here Nandini's emotions also fluctuates from good to bad or light to dark.

That's how the true grey character are since they hang so much in between. I think that's the main issue with how audience perceive Nandini. They want to hate her completely for what she has has been doing but then they are not able to say it out since makers again show her do something that can't be ignored & that's why hate for her increases.

At one time you would hate them & at other you won't be able to. Grey characters always leave audience in splits & hanging in between hating them or feel indifferent about them or feeling for them. People want to hate & be at peace but then makers won't give you a reason for absolute hate.

Instead you would have one moment of absolute hate but next moment will not be same. It happens in real life too. That's why I believe we all have our own fair share of grey inside us which shows at times.

Ishwari Dixit was one such grey. You would want to hate that woman completely at one point but you would not be able to hate her considering her perspective. Grey characters are conflicting & leave people in conflicts always.

That was one fab surprise scene. It actually brought out her kasmakash, her confusion, her thinking pattern, the what if's to the forefront. Though she kept switching between good and bad, the child was the priority on her mind. I wish they would have shown more of these because I really like her alter ego version.

Also, agreed that grey characters actually instigate all sorts emotions in us, from hate to sympathy to frustration to loathing to liking to confusion and believe me, with Nandini I have felt it all.

For Kunal, it is driving. Whenever he is confused, he goes for a long drive with self-talk. Hopefully, this time he will not bang his head.
