Cyber bullying & some hard hitting questions

So as usual the MOD closed every single post which questioned her actions. Before I get banned I dont want to leave without a fight like a coward because now I am really angry. I want to stand by my principles & fight for what is right. If I leave quietly it means I am accepting that THE BULLIES ARE RIGHT AND THAT THEY WON.

Even our Indian constitution assures Freedom of Expression to all. This is a proud democratic country where even the PM, the opposition leader & all public figures are mocked & criticized severely. I am from TN. You should c the spoof videos made on the PM, the CM etc & that too on prime time news channels. And here I am not allowed to criticize a fictional character. How ridiculous is this! This is plain absurd! And this absurdity exists only in this forum & no other forum or Bollywood forums in IF.

Here in this forum multiple trolls ve used abusive words against me. In my own farewell & other thread some1 has proudly accepted that she has called me LIAR & HYPOCRITE. Another claims that I was sarcastic towards a person who made personal attack but conveniently forgot how I was name called & abused by the same fan group & how tat person was actually attacking all us Nandini critics & claiming tat v ll behave like tat even in real life. So me being sarcastic is a sin but them abusing/attacking is fine? They claim I make sarcastic comments. Since when was sarcasm a crime. In a professional environment we daily face snide/sarcastic comments from our juniors, from our reportees, from our peers, from our boss, from our colleagues. If ppl cant take even slight sarcasm then they ve a huge problem. This is social media. Ppl will be sarcastic even snippy. If u cant take sarcasm then u should not be on social media. Not every 1 ll agree to wat u say. Not every1 ll support ur views. Some will like ur comments. Some will criticize. As long as we dont cross the line & dont make vulgar/sexist comments sarcasm is perfectly valid/acceptable especially when u r discussing about characters like KUNAN & if u r defending the indefensible ppl ll respond sarcastically. Trump gets trolled. Modi gets trolled. Kohli gets trolled. But we cant make fun of a fictional character. Again how ridiculous is this? We cant criticize. We cant b sarcastic. So why is this forum created. A holy shrine for the actress & her character. Then y call it discussion forum. Just say it's an extended AT/Fan club.

What has happened to me in this forum is clear, plain cyber bullying by the fan group & the MOD. Every single person in this forum knows that. There were many posts where many words were used. But only my posts were targeted & closed. I was clearly targeted both by the fan group & the MOD.

Why was my thread on Acting of the leads closed. Did I use any derogatory words? NO. Did I bash any of the actors? NO. I clearly made technical points on facial cues, voice modulation, body language etc. It was not bashing but valid analysis of the acting. And I made this aft 4 months of watching the show. If only mocking/bashing posts are closed then why was this thread closed that too without even giving a proper reason. If some one did not adhere to the forum rules those posts alone should have been deleted. Why was my entire thread closed. Even a post with a personal anecdote about my daughter got closed. No reason was given. As I mentioned clear proof that I was targeted & bullied!

So mocking/bashing is not allowed. So what about all those fan groups who attacked me & called me names. Bashing fictional character is not allowed but bashing me is allowed? I am not allowed to be sarcastic but they can make snide comments about me? Really? Why was that allowed. Even now in the AT forum members, Aditi & Mauli are mocked. The MOD has merely added a comment. Why is that thread not closed. Why are the members not given WL? Sarcasm is a sin but straightforward abuse is fine?

I posted in my farewell thread as well. 1 person said that people who mock Nandini's supposed panic attacks will behave similarly in real life. That's a personal attack. Why was that thread not closed as making personal attack. Why did the MOD silently edit her post. To add insult to injury she deleted my post which questioned the TM for making personal attacks. Where did the forum rules go at that time. Like how my post was closed why was that thread not closed for attacking forum members as per the holy rule book.

After my 1st WL I ve not used any of the banned words. I wanted the MOD to show me proof where I ve actually used these banned words again. She replied saying I wrote a sentence She shivers & vibrates. So now we are not even allowed to say that Nandini shivers & vibrates. What nonsense is this? So how to say she shivers. She S*S. Should we now used starred words even for verbs. Who is this? A fictional character? What kind of nonsensical rules are these? I ve been in IPK, IMMJ forums where the comments are very very severe. The posts that she showed r posts where I am replying to trolls abusing me. So the modus operandi is they ll attack in droves, abuse, when we reply they ll report the post & I get banned for replying while they escape scot-free for abusing me. Oh & btw my replies were not abusive! WOW PERFECT! So according to the MOD only those posts which are approved & censor cleared by DD fans will be permitted in this forum. Is this forum a personal property of DD fans & their supporters?

Every forum has rules and mocking and bashing of characters is usually not allowed. This rule is slightly adjusted to each forum. In some forums what you say would open the floor for constructive discussion, unfortunately the Silsila forum is a place of wars over the smallest of points. Hence many posts are closed on that basis.

Above in bold, so by her own admission there are special rules only for SBRK? Who gave this show & this character such special status. Why should the global rules b modified only for this show & this character. BTW those words r used only for the fictional character NANDINI & NOT THE ACTOR DD. So its extremely absurd that such special rules for a fictional character. If this is not bias then what is? Place of wars? Really who starts these wars. Its rabid fans of this actor. So y s'd our freedom of expression be curbed coz these fans are abusive. Its they who should be pulled up not us for sharing our views about the FICTIONAL CHARACTER that their actor plays. Can the MODs b any more biased. Any1 can c how absurd this is. Not allowed to criticize a frigging FICTIONAL CHARACTER!

BTW who decides what is criticism & what is mocking? Mocking Mauli supporters r allowed but mocking Nandini isnt? Mauli as MOOLI is accepted but calling Nandini as RUDALI is not allowed. Since when did RUDALI become a derogatory word? Many of us 1st used this word for Anjali in IPK1. In fact she was never called Anjali. She was always called RUDALI, POOJALI, AKAL KI GANJI etc. Aft some time there were members who started making even personal comments against Daljeet coz every1 hated tat character. I dont remember any of their posts getting closed or the member getting banned. Why coz Daljeet is not famous or has a rabid fan following? Why this double standards? So if an actor is famous anything said against the character she plays is a sin?

I used 2 visit DSDT forum. The most horrible words were used for Teni. Now people from that forum r coming here & giving lecture. 1 person posted on my KOSTINs thread tat its name calling & reported my thread. Really? This is heights of hypocrisy! Do u guys recall the words tat were used 2 describe Teni & Parth?

Why make this post? I am not seeking attention. What am I going to achieve by tat? I dont get paid by IF. So them banning is not like I am being fired. I am making this post to protest against the blatant bullying & bias by the DD fans & the forum MOD. I will get banned but I dont want history to repeat. I dont want any one else to face the same bullying that I faced. I want every neutral member of this forum to stop being silent. Please make posts bravely. Dont give into these bullies. This is an attack on freedom of expression. I ve already sent a formal complaint to the site admin. I am not hopeful that anything will happen after all they will support only the MODs but this is again a small attempt by me to raise my voice against this kind of bullying. Once we allow this to happen these people will continue the same. They will continue to bully. They ll continue to attack freedom of expression.

This is just a small website & such a trivial issue. But by taking a stand we are setting an example that such bullying is not acceptable anywhere in any form! Everyone in India should be allowed to express their views freely!

Oh & btw if the fans & MODs r so sure that they r right then y r they closing posts aft posts today. Ppl r sharing their views on what happened to me. These posts are protests against the bullying which goes on unchecked in this forum. By closing these threads again ppl r not being allowed to voice their protest. So do they expect 100 ppl 2 send individual PMs to Vijay. By commenting on this thread they r merely sharing their views. But even tat is not allowed here. The moment some1 makes a post, the MOD ll close it. So every voice of protest is effectively silenced.

I have seen your posts.. and we generally are not happy with the way the character has been played. Just cos its played but a famous actress are we supposed to praise her.. NO i cannot do that. Its a let down. More so .. may be cos of the hype too..

Incase ppl have a good memory her 2previous shows were also a flop. Then may be every thing is paid PR.. where do fans have so much time.

Who can deny they are trying to portray a bad character with good clothes.. it can take you only so far.

The rules have tightened around this forum bcoz DD is playing a bitch mistress here.

Remember how IF gave an article on why nandini should not be hated.

You did act hypocritically,after the long offended reply you wrote due to one instance of 'attack'(if one can call it that,it was way milder than any of your attacks have been) you resumed taking digs by writing stuff like "I don't lack moral compass or it is not screwed"

This is y I opened this thread though I am just few mins/hrs away frm being permanently kicked out of IF. I want more & more ppl coming out boldly & calling out the sheer abuse indulged by DD fans & the support they get from the MODs. I ve been in forums where Barun's physical attributes ve been mocked. I ve been in forums where the FL who was a doormat ve been called names. Dumbo, Doormat, Cuckoo & much much more. Bollywood forum is brutal. But only in this forum such bullying is actively encouraged. Before I am forcibly removed I want every1 2 stop putting up with bullying. I want every1 speak up & put a stop to this bullying by DD fans!

Exactly never ve a seen an article supporting a fictional character who is extremely obnoxious. We are not supposed to criticize. We r not supposed 2 b sarcastic. This is social media. Ppl will be sarcastic. Ppl will mock. And here v r making fun of a fictional character. Why is this show & character so special?

This is wat I dont want. This forum or website doesnt belong to them. This is the reason y I am making these posts. I dont want to leave silently. Our silence gives them the courage to bully more. By raising our voice & making noise we are sending a message to these rabid fans. They cant get away with bullying. Yes they might ve chased me away. They might ve got me banned but they cant try this with any1 else. No more cowering & being scared of these trolls. Every single reply of mine to these trolls be been reported by these trolls. And in all my replies I ve just written stuff like YAWN. I DONT CARE etc. How is tis abuse. And the MOD proudly says tat I am breaking the rules thru these posts! HOW? WHY?

While the article should have been on "Why DD should not be hated?", the article maker clearly blurred the line of real & reel & made the article on "Why Nandini should not be hated?"

Never in my years on forum, I have seen an article to defend a character like that even though there have been pretty horrible characters on TV till now. There have been characters that have been hated with passion & I don't think there have been any justifications or articles to defend them. (Amrapali was so hated for playing Tanveer in the QH forum & the women bared it all & no one came to defend her & then there are so many examples of it)

Even Kunal deserves one such post since Shakti too has to endure a lot of criticism on his accounts about his character as well. Why shouldn't he be provided the same thing? (In no way, I am die-hard fan of any actor, but equality must exist for everyone).
